When I left, FE hacking was mostly Nightmare editors and text parsers, I see it's come quite a bit... That aside, I can't be bothered with anything in-depth, but I was thinking of making a few quick edits in FE12 for some fun, which the Nightmare editor works well for. I checked around but this place is (No offense) kind of messy and I couldn't find any, only the FE11 ones (Do ones for 12 even exist?).

I was the elitist jackass from the FESS days and this sites early years. History aside, I wouldn't expect me to do much posting, but after playing through FE12 I figured I would check up on the site. So what's up to all the old people and hello to you newer members.

Doesn't have to do with the list (Since I agree she sucks), but I used Sophia for fun on hard mode one time and it was not as god aweful as people act. Also, I personally think Barth should be higher (Especially for hard mode), he's sucky, but he is a reliable sucky, you know where he will be good at and where he won't be, you don't really have to rely on the RNG so much on level ups. Then again I am weird with stuff like that.

Yes it does, a friend of mine has one and it works fine (At least on his cut out SNES). I myself nearly got it for 50$ on ebay, but I lost the auction to, guess who, said friend. I drifted away from FE about a year later, so I haven't bothered with it again, just played it on an emulator.

I'm not giving a screenshot because... A: It's a mess. B: Half of it is ROMs, Torrents, Warez, WoW Private Servers, Cracks, among other unethical things. However I will give an image. It's tiled, so the whole background looks more or less as such.

Hey all long time no see, I am sure some will recognize me (Old name being CamustheDark or something like that), others not, anyway it doesn't matter for this. My question is as follows: Does a JPN DS cart play on a US/NA DS? I have imported every other (Non-English) FE game besides FE5 because I lost the auction several years ago. And I was curious if it would play my DS (Seeing as the SNES and GBA ones can play on US consoles). Yes I am full aware about emulators because I use them, but for me an emulator just isn't the same as playing the real deal and if possible I would like to get an official cart of it. Question 2: Does the Wi-Fi shop (And other features) work? Or does Nintendo keep separate US/JP/EU Wi-Fi servers?

1: Haven't done anything here in years, so unLZ-GBA was the last useful thing. 2: That doesn't actually answer my question. 3: The GBA Graphics Editor would seem to solve the issue by your description, would you happen to know where to get it? (The one download link I found was obsolete). I apologize if I sounded blunt.

Yeah, I used unLZ-GBA to decompress and deal with all of them, well for some reason, Moulder's is not showing up. Anyone know what the issue is? Is it, for some odd reason, not categorized with the others, or is unLZ-GBA not recognizing it as compressed?

I got a new DS not long ago, so I was finally able to play the game. I beat normal mode with little trouble. So I skipped right to hard 5 when I started a new game last night. Now I actually had some trouble with the first chapter, I have been having a blast with it, so far it's harder then FE5/FE6 Hard/FE9 Maniac. So this is my question... Does it remain this hard the whole way? (I only did the first chapter last night) Or does it get easier like in FE6? (I don't want to read the guide and spoil any other things).

While I am not supporting Wendy at all, I got to give credit where it is due... She comes at an earlier chapter with better growths (Even if they don't match a general), and lances are easier to work with then dark magic. That's my personal opinion on Sophia vs. Wendy : / I just had an easier time with Wendy the one time I tried each of them.

You can easily make it so Nomadic Troopers can use those swords. Some other alternatives would be... Make them custom bows instead of swords. Make it so the female nomad class can use swords (You can just put in the Nmd. Trooper animation if you are worried about animation). All of the above can be done in the NMM (Except changing the names of the weapons if you plan on doing that).

Well their original name in most of the games was Sword Fighter if I recall. I am not sure why NoA (And NoE I guess) changed the name. Axe Fighters got renamed to Fighter. I think it was probably meant to save space due to more English characters being used for a name on average.

In FE3, promoting at level 10 isn't a very bad idea due to the low caps and average end-game level (5-10 if you promote at 20). At least in book 1, in book 2, you tend to get more level ups.

I say this all the time, however I will give Lilina fans this, she is better then Sophia by a ton.
