    I fail to see how joining the Dawn Brigade (which isn't possible because at the time because their the liberation army) would ensure the safety of her people.

    I know this is probably minor and nobody really cares but I thought i'd report it anyways. Fiona sides with Begnion at first, not the Dawn Brigade.
  5. I agree, Fiona turns out pretty good if you can just get over the hump of being a Lance Knight. Keep leveling her up, after a few levels as a Lance Paladin she'll start to be able to kill things, hit things and double attack.
  6. Could that be because she uses magic? I agree, Aran is severely underrated. I tend to stay away from Edward, he gets hit too much. Why use him when there's a unit of the same class with better stats (compared to what Edward has as a level 3 SM), a massive level lead and the ability to dodge a 70 year old with an axe available to use? (Zihark)
  7. That picture is fake, the creators said it was. It was created for an article to show people it was a fake.
  8. I choose the third option and here's why. Danved's japanese name was Nadved (or something very similar) who was Devdan's imaginary friend he uses in his circus act. So I think Devdan thinks he is Nadved which makes him an insane guy who thinks he's two people. If NoA localization hadn't screwed this one up the connection would be easier to make.
  9. I would make Tormod, Muarim and Vika join in Part III. On my first playthrough I was thinking "any time guys!", seriously their the Laguz Emancipation Army so you'd think they would help the Laguz Alliance.
  10. She's going to have Eirika's battle animation and a staff animation that looks like Eirika's. And yes, we have gotten past the Str/Mag thing, we've split the stats like they were in FE4. However there is one drawback, Luck no longer has a growth rate so a character's luck will be set from level 1 and can only go up by using a Lucky Ring. Honestly, I've never really gotten the logic behind getting luckier as you get stronger so this was the first solution that came to mind.
  11. Lachesis will be the same as she's always been, a Princess that can use swords and staves.
  12. @Raven: Well, event percentage wise I'm 10% done, overall percentage wise we're like... 3%, there's so much more than events, the ASM stuff will take a lot of time. @VASM: We're trying to allow enemies to just walk through him so he has no usefulness as a wall, and I'm pretty sure we all know how Merlinus visiting a village turns out (why can't he access his OWN supply?) Thank you for the nice reception all, once we have all the prologue graphics done (mugs inserted and the like) then we'll be releasing videos and a demo.

A fight against the un-paletted Kibois The shop is accessable from the main castle gate All conversations from the original FE4 return And some new ones like this Alec x Arden one are thrown in Proof that the Ayra recruitment works, Genoa is siezed and you can talk to her only after it is siezed And this one is the big announcement! A new character, a merchant! He will be able to store your excess items for you and best of all, the enemies completely ignore his existance! No more fears of your merchant being mauled by enemies! Also, remember when I said we'd be replacing the repair shop with something similar? Well it certainly wasn't purchasable Hammerne staffs! It was this guy, when you give him a weapon you have the option to repair it for a fee, how convenient! Made even more convenient by the fact that he's mobile. Well at least that's what we're going for! Only time will tell if it's possible.
  14. I'm sorry to break it to you guys but this project has been canceled so I can put my full attention on FEIV Advance. After that I dunno, I'll probably end up coming back to this but as of now this project is dead.

  16. Heres the post I made on FE Planet announcing the project. And now to answer the questions posted here I didn't answer before. We're hoping to replicate it's original effect, if not it'll have some other use. The lover's system is being implemented, meaning second gen will not be canonical but based off the pairings from the first generation like in the original. The stat boosters will work like they do in every game but FE4 (you use them once) and as for the skill rings... I'm not entirely sure... The holy blood system will be implemented and children will inherit blood from their parents as they do in FE4. I believe I answered that question before, yes we're planning on having a demo out soon. (sometime during the summer) If a moderator would be so kind, could the topic title be changed to Fire Emblem IV Advance? (the project's official name)
  17. I'm sorry, I've been neglecting Serenes Forest Forums when it comes to information and answering questions so again, I'm sorry. So now comes the big task, to post everything you guys have missed out on! The latest news would be that Chapter 1 is nearly completed! Here are some screenshots of Chapter 1: The Search for Edain! Eltosian and his Cavalier butt buddy guard. Kinbois and his crew are ready to take Evans back! The following screens contain spoilers for those who haven't played FE4 before, view at your own risk! Also, Nintenlord has begun replacing the tilesets to resemble FE4's (like Celice suggested early on in this thread) (continued onto next post due to amount of images)
  18. Celice is right, it will be a patch of FE7. We decided that we won't be releasing a demo, as soon as we're completely done with the first generation we'll release that and then work on the second generation.
  19. The growth rates will reflect the parents as if it were the pairing in FE4.

  21. We're thinking of splitting a few chapters up into multiple chapters. Thank you but you should be praising Nintenlord, he did most of the prologue data and he inserted the Sword Armor animation.
  22. Well, we have some more pictures for you all. Lex, Azel and a new character! Who is it? You'll have to wait til' you play to find out! (Strangely that enemy has 50HP which is something I didn't catch before taking the screenshot.) Sword Armor animation, behold! A new picture of the starting point of our story.   23. Yah, were also hoping to import Mage Knight, Pupil, Great Knight, General (Swords), Normal Cleric, Roy Lord, Eirika Lord, Eirika Great Lord, Shaman (F) and, Priest. Were also trying to insert Axe Knight, Sword Armor and, Axe Armor animations. I was hoping to do that, I'll see what I can do (I really want to insert some FE4 tracks) That would be a good way to make this hack known if it won that competition, I'll look into it. EDIT: We can't use two patches... I dunno how it'll work seeing as I don't want to release anything without all the animations we need inserted (we'd need Axe Knight and Sword Armor for just the Prologue) and we need to expand for that.
  24. Well, were almost done with the Prologue, once we have the mugs we'll release a demo where people can only play the prologue as well as some youtube videos to make the hack more well known.
