I'm planning on getting this game, and could someone enlighten me as to what's the deal with all this reclassing nonsense? It seems like the kind of thing that could screw over characters if you do it wrong. Also, from what I understand the Gaiden chapters require you to kill off a certain amount of characters each time. Are these chapters that were put in the game to help out people that suck and manage to lose half their army, or is there something I'm missing about them? Is every difficulty available from the start? I'd like to start H5 or whatever it seems to be called ASAP but most games nowadays require you to dick around on some other setting before you can unlock the hardest one. Finally is there anything someone whose completed FE4 and 6 through 9 (played 5 and 10) should know about this game? Thanks for answers, its much appreciated.

Vaan I can understand, but why Sora? Yaoi. Pretty much any hero from FF7 on, especially Vaan and Tidus. I literally cringed when Tidus started going HA HA HA HA HA HA HA; and Vaan is symbolic of pretty much everything that's wrong with jRPG characters these days... not to mention you could take him out of the game and literally nothing would change plotwise.

I'd agree if not for that fucking racing game. Ys I&II for DS is pretty good if you're into that stuff. FF Anthologies and Chronicles are also both pretty good but be aware of Anthologies' loading times if you're playing the NTSC-US version. FF I&II DoS is also decent if you're looking for something simple and fun to play, but be aware FF1's difficulty is heavily altered for the easier. FF2 is easier by a bit but not by much- it's mostly changes for simplicity's sake.

I forget about Daikatana because 1) I wasn't a PC gamer back then, and 2) I never really got the love affair for John Romero even back then; now, it's exceptionally hilarious, because he's been proven to be such a tosser. He was a co-founder of id and generally is credited along with Carmack for the explosion of the FPS genre. He had pretty good reason to be well-respected back in that day but then kinda Yeah.

Treck has 17.5 defense at 10*, as opposed to Allen's 15.0 and Lance's 13.6. He also has 49.2 HP at 10* as opposed to Lance's 45.4 and Allen's 47.8. If anything, support-less he's a marginally better tank than the either of them. Supports factored though, Allen and Lance definitely make better tanks from their support bonii.

Eliwood may have all these advantages on Roy... but can he claim to have no unique promoted battle sprite? I don't think so.
