That much is true. Pretty much the only area where there's more Marquette coverage than UW is in Milwaukee itself (well, except for the Journal Sentinel Newspaper that is). It also doesn't help that Wisconsinites are used to the B1G, and can have rivals such as tOSU, Michigan, and Minnesota, while there hasn't been anyone for the majority of Wisconsinites to hate in the Big East (though Marquette fans are known to dislike Georgetown, Louisville, etc.) Though both UW and Marquette have good reasons to dislike Indiana (UW because of being in the same conference, and Marquette because of how Tom Crean left)

That's bad, but try having a program that's just as successful historically as your in-state rival, even having won a national championship more recently, and having produced talented players/coaches that went on to be successful in the NBA....and STILL being treated as the little brother despite this. It'd be like ASU having a program arguably more successful than Arizona, yet Arizona still hogs all the media attention.
