  1. Vengeance is a lot less viable now because not only has its proc rate been nerfed to Skill*1.5 %, but Skill caps are universally lower, so while it was possible to reach 100% Vengeance in Awakening, here you're looking at rates in the 40s and 50s and maybe 60s (depending on the class and Guard Stance stat bonuses and such) On the other hand the Awakening skill sounds really cheap and broken and I hope it stays limited to Lucina.
  2. There's an S-rank Katana, you probably missed it. There's no S-rank sword because the only class that can reach S-rank in swords is Trueblade, which is a Hoshidan class. There are also likely to be enemy-only S-rank weapons, yes.
  3. So I take it that whenever the Iron weapon of a particular category says in its description "Weapon typeは、stuff", it's implying that all weapons of that category have "stuff" as a passive effect unless specified otherwise?
  4. Dylan101 said what I was about to say. The Skill stat actually hardly matters; since Lethality is (Skill/4), for every -4 you lower your Skill by, you're only dropping the activation rate by 1%. What you calculated there is the probability that Lethality occurs twice in a row, which is irrelevant because it only takes one Lethality to kill the opponent. Basically, the only way to not get at least one Lethality is for it to fail to activate on both strikes. So we calculate the chance that Lethality fails both times and call this Outcome A. The chance that Lethality occurs at least once is equal to the chance that Outcome A does not occur.
  5. Maids!! Maids for top tier supporting staffbots
  6. Another correction for the main site: I'm pretty sure Oni Savage and Wyvern Rider's Cut Through and Shove skills are switched - Oni should have Shove and Wyvern Rider should have Cut Through. Source: http://enjoi8.sakura.ne.jp/fe_if/skill_2.html http://enjoi8.sakura.ne.jp/fe_if/skill_2_1.html Also the icons (as well as the general concept, considering the classes) make much more sense when the two are switched.
  7. Thanks! This should be really useful! Hahaha Missiletainn is Ophelia's personal tome, how cute.
  8. The devs basically admitted (in the Iwata Asks interview) that the mode is for players who can't handle the strategy aspect of the game, since they want everyone regardless of skill level to be able to enjoy the story all the way to the end.
  9. Or, you know, speedwings...
  10. What does Robin use in his battle/come equipped with?
  11. Hehe, I tried this with Libra!Owain and was able to Mire-crit Grima for 93 damage (31x3). Libra!Owain has a +4 Mag mod so any Morgan with +8 Mag can do it (maybe even +7, I forget if there was any rounding involved)
  12. Vincent, according to this screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/zbVrihJ.png It appears the description for Flora's personal skill on the site (http://serenesforest.net/fire-emblem-fates/other-characters/personal-skills/) is incorrect, and it should be that the enemy only receives half the damage. Also, it applies only to indirect attacks (does that mean ranged?)
  13. Only if you reclass Kaze into a puppeteer and Kage into a fan-using Basara (both of which are possible)
  14. If these are all true, including the A-rank buddy seal method, then theoretically isn't it possible for ANY unit to get ANY skill (not counting special classes like Songstress), and have them all at the same time? 1. Have two files that can Streetpass each other. Call File A your main file, and File B an extra file. 2. On File B, have F!Kamui get whatever skill you want via the buddy seal method. 3. Make F!Kamui the mother of a child of your choice, and pass down the skill you obtained in step 2. 4. Streetpass with File A. 5. Have the child unit in File A learn the skill from the corresponding child in File B. Rinse and repeat with multiple different "File B"s. A similar thing can be done with Gen 1 units if you S-support them with someone who has access to a skill you want in File B, then Streetpass with File A.
  15. Unless proven otherwise, I'm going to assume that Hoshido and Flamboyant do stack. Also assuming Kamui can reach, say, 40 Skill, he has a (40/4) + 10 + 15 = 35% chance for Lethality to connect. Use a brave weapon and that turns into 1 - (.65)^2 = 57% Lethality after rounding down. What the fuck
  16. Yeah it is a personal weapon. Still, it's the first of its type that I've seen, so I don't really know what to expect xD
  17. All of the bronze weapons give +10 critical evade, and so does the dragonstone I think. If I'm not mistaken I believe I saw that guard stance also automatically gives you +5 critical evade. So -luck seems like it might not be much of a problem in the early game.
  18. Yeah, but the meaning will be completely lost to anyone who doesn't know any Japanese. Pronunciation-wise, Midoriko (and most of the four-syllable Hoshidan names tbh, including Kazahana -.-) is not any harder to pronounce than Nidorino or Hariyama, so there isn't any need to change these names. But who knows what kind of shit the localization team will pull.
  19. Well players have definitely gotten access to these, but they're probably too focused on actually playing the game. Hopefully there will be more contributors once people are finished with the main story.
  20. Taking a look at both the class skills and personal skills, there are a LOT that only activate when the user initiates the battle, and some of those effects are hardly trivial. I'd like to think this is a deliberate attempt on IS' part to increase the importance of the player phase, especially if enemies on higher difficulties get access to these skills as well. Though things like Sol still exist in all its former glory so not yet sure how significantly this will affect the gameplay balance.
