  1. I agree with you both. It is retarded, but it makes makes sense too. I always assumed critical chance was above the hit chance in terms of what is first considered in battle.

Does that make 50% hit with 50% critical actually 25% critical chance? Making it 50% miss, 25% normal attack, 25% critical attack?

    Damn, I'm confusing myself here...

  2. Hi there! Nice to have you join us.

    Thanks, much appreciated.

I hardly need to explain myself, or say "hello", do I?

    A "hello" would do... lol.

Welcome! I hope you have a great time!

Thank you, I'm sure I will.

  3. Everyone seems to rave about her, but she comes in way too late and way too low to be of any real use. I bench her and stick with Erk.

She does come late, but for me it's a good Erk replacement, since every time I try to raise Erk, he ends up being much too slow and ends up annoying me because I can't get a double hit on almost anything, so I throw him from my regularly used units. Afa's drops helps raise her stats too - since she is on such a low level when you get her, you can see the affect they have on her over time.

  4. During my first few playthroughs, I never bothered raising Nino, saw it would be too much of a hassle to do so. I thought they were crazy to make you be able to use a level 5 Mage so late in the game.

But then I decided to one day Linus abuse with her (damn, that sounds so wrong...). I gave her the Afa's drops, raised her to a lv20 mage from attacking Linus long-range, then promoted her to Sage. Linus didn't last much longer after that.

She's a good unit if you put the effort in. If you haven't already, I suggest you give her a try. I would also get her an A support with Canas, as he is my second most favoured magic unit, behind Nino.

    Your thoughts on her?

  5. Lloyd's the best, even though it's Linus who gives my units most grief in the Light chapter.

Also, I guess that Jaffar is 21. Nino is definietly 14, though. Would that make Nino's sons Jaffar's sons too? More than likely...

  6. All the times I've played through FE7, I've not once used Heath. I don't know why, but I've always found myself using someone else instead of him, never giving him a chance.

As for the three sisters, I'm using Florina right now (playing HHM), she's doing alright for herself I guess. Defense could be much better, but I guess she has other strengths. She's also the cutest of the three sisters.

  7. This data loss sounds awfully familiar. It happened to my Sacred Stones cartridge. I was playing it on my DS Lite. I started the game up, as normal, but the screen stayed white after the Game Boy logo disappeared, so I turned it off, checked the cart, found that it wasn't in all of the way, so I pushed it in correctly then turned it on again. It worked this time, but it was like a completely new cartridge just bought from the shop. I had lost so many hours-worth of data. My creature campaign was on 300 hours +, in which I had unlocked Lyon, and even capped all his stats, and was about one quarter way though capping all of my other units too. I was not impressed, as you may imagine...

Lesson here - Before you turn your game on, make sure the cartridge is inserted properly.

  8. I voted Pent, simply because he is able to use the Physic staves as you get him. Nobody else is worth the bother, because you can get better. Erk could turn out good, but then again, he could turn out crap, as mine almost always does. So I rely on Pent.

  9. Æther §ummøner showed me this Serenes Forest website, and I must say I'm impressed. Hope I get to know you all better - I already know Æther §ummøner, we talk on MSN alot, particularly about Fire Emblem 6, 7 and 8.

Glad I've found a Fire Emblem community to be a part of, let it be a good one.
