  1. Who are your least favourite FE lords? I think I agree with you when it comes to most of your criticisms of Ike and Roy.

      Either Roy or Hector.

Roy, I want to like because I like his calm, rational demeanor, but I just can't stand the way the game worships him as a genius (even though he's 15). I don't like the way that the game uses Merlinus to say things which are wrong so it can show how clever Roy is by comparison, and otherwise he lacks characters to bounce off of.

Hector I don't like at base because I don't care for his brash "smash things first, ask questions later" attitude. I'm lower on him recently because of the scene in Fire Emblem Heroes where he acts like an abusive, overprotective father with no respect for Lilina's opinions... and because it was pointed out to me that is canon and consistent with one of his Eliwood supports in FE7.

A lot of Merlinus' advice and way of thinking reminded me of Soren's such as telling Roy that calling Etruria for help would make Etruria strong over Lycia which is similar to Soren suggesting that Crimea take the lead as opposed to Begnion. Furthermore, Merlinus told Roy not to constantly help the innocent to avoid getting bogged down in unnecessary conflict. But everything ends up working in Roy's favor 100% of the time with no repercussions whatsoever. Also, he managed to conquer most of Bern and lay siege to the castle in just one chapter despite Bern having such a strong military which was lead by Murdock who was backed by Gale. Murdock is basically the Zelgius of this game, a charismatic and skilled general and even though the Laguz Alliance was backed by Soren, they didn't end up in a one sided victory.
