Eclipse if you choose to use your Holy ability you should pick Earth as the element to lock IMO also if you guys end up going with Watcher over Tracker, Beli should random between Eclipse and Mancer so that the mafia don't know exactly who to target to avoid. If you guys go with Tracker, SB should random between Shin, Beli, and Refa.

but this means nothing? Knowing someone didn't go on the nightkill doesn't clear them of being scum, so it doesn't increase your chances of lynching scum at all.

also I just realized this but SB saying "I'm fine with being lynched" makes me really uneasy. That sounds genuine from Mancer, but SB plays on MotK, where townies lie down and let themselves get lynched because they assume it'll allow town to win (cough cough BT) and then town loses. And I've heard SB complaining about this a lot, so ugh.

I think that list was for single player only. A multiplayer tier list would probably look very different. Also, Sharpy had a Civ Draft idea. Essentially, we have 8 people, and each person picks one civ. Everybody then plays with the civ they picked, with the seven civs that others picked as the AIs. We could leave it as it is for a non-competitive draft, but it would probably need to be polished a lot for a draft where we competed for TC. In the latter case I would maybe say we pick a wincon at the beginning and all go for the same one, so it's not like FIRSTPICK HUNS EVERYBODY ELSE SCREWED

Also people are like... dividing the possible scumteams into Beli+Shin and BBM+Refa. I don't think this is a good idea because I think the only scumteams that really don't make sense are BBM+Shin and Refa+Shin. Shin+SB would be possible too, as would BBM+Beli and maaaaybe SB+Refa/BBM (probably not though).

"too many variable roles for town to have" what does this even mean? And roles being restricted by element means that town roles that can operate under any element are actually even more useful, so it makes sense for there to be two roles like that. Shin still not answering questions about his role, okay About SB's case- I'm aware of that. However, the rest of his case is stuff I've already replied to. I've spoken quite a lot about my Marth interactions and my decision to go after Elie over him. I stand by my conviction that parts of the Marth case D1 sucked, like Mancer's "DIDN'T RESTATE ALL HIS READS BEFORE HE WENT TO SLEEP MUST BE SCUM", and I was really confident about Elie being scum. That + not really having any issues with Marth beyond earlygame stuff (which I didn't consider to be as important as all of Elie's stuff since that wasn't bordering RVS) added up to me not really wanting to lynch Marth D1. Beyond that, there's not much I can say other than that I was wrong about my read. BTW if we're lynching Shin today we should pick Earth, not Wind, so that I can use the JK to protect Xinny. Also, nobody really responded to this so I'm going to restate it. When Marth was the leading wagon he actually defended Shin, his counterwagon, in #764, and chose to push Beli as his counterwagon despite the fact that Beli had no votes on him at the time. @Mancer- I don't need to copy Shin's boulder if he gets lynched; we can pick Earth and I can copy Rapier's Jailkeeper.

SB needs to realize that there are some things people do in scum games because they're scum and some things that they do in scum games that have nothing to do with their alignment. What's even scummy about the tone in #1046? "It sounds like your tone in SMT" isn't an answer unless you can say why my tone in SMT was specifically a product of my alignment there.

Not really because the very minor benefit given by that would be less than having another element for N4. And besides, if it's Xinny + two uncleared people in 3p LYLO, her vote and her vigshot are basically the same thing after the other two crossvote. Also, is it just the vengeful part that doesn't work in LYLO or also the BPV part?

Refa, have you asked Prims what happens if you get lynched in 3P LYLO? Would the game automatically end or would you able to shoot someone first?

it's pretty hilarious that Shin is trying to justify being incredibly vague about his role by "OH NO I MIGHT BE KILLED" when: a) He's never going to be killed because there are people who are clear. b) If I'm scum and I'm lynched today, then it becomes 6/1. Let's say town!Shin is killed at night, making it 5/1. Misvig + mislynch + nightkill on non-Xinny makes it 2/1 so Xinny can't even use her vig (well she can but it may as well be a lynch). Therefore at this stage there is no point to scum killing town!Shin to remove the boulder so they can shoot Xinny, because the earliest they can kill her is N4 and that's too late to make a difference. c) Telling us what element he is isn't going to make mafia more inclined to kill him. Neither will telling us how many shots he has, because if he could use another boulder while the first one is active, he would have done so by now, and it doesn't look like we're removing the boulder (today, anyways) d) Outing info about his role would actually be BENEFICIAL to the town if he got killed, because it would be easier to rolespec off it and determine which roles are more likely to be scum. so basically, Shin is using BBM IS ROLEFISHING as an excuse to be anti-town when information about his role doesn't By the way, a corollary of b) is that we should NOT pick Fire tomorrow because Xinny won't be able to safely dayvig on D5, if the game gets there.

I'm feeling right now that Refa isn't scum because honestly he could so easily have gone "damn I guess my BBM townread was wrong since he has to be scum through PoE", especially after Poly flipped town, and then there would pretty much be no one who believed enough that I would flip town to stop my lynch. There's white-knighting for towncred and then there's just walling off mislynch options, and I don't feel as if scum would do that when the numbers are so tight right now with PoE.

I do think that GF is pretty likely ##Select: Archer forgot to actually vote this also still unsure of whom to elect president- leaning towards BELISHIN scumteam atm everybody is making good arguments as to why Cop/Tracker/Watcher could exist simultaneously but my gut just says it isn't
