The funny thing about Florina is that she's always turned into a death machine for me. Which I always found hilarious; this petite girl flapping around on a pegasus going 'sumimasen! gomen nasai!' whilst impaling enemies left, right and centre. And landing on Hector to start their romance. Actually hyper-competent but can't believe she is or puts up the facade of being hopeless. Which is sort of similar to Nono; who seems to act that way because her appearance allows her to get away with it. Also remember: ditzy and dumb (but dutiful) girls are vastly preferred to strong, forthright girls in anime settings. The former nearly always prevails in a level playing field for a man's attention. Why? Apparently such is preferred by Japanese popular opinion (at least in general). But westerners tend to view such girls as /rolleyes/ worthy wet rags, because in general we like strong female characters. This is why Krom can support (and even prefer) Sumia. Whereas 'crushing on him something fierce' Tiamo doesn't even get a chance. Then again, given Krom's support with FE/MU, one wonders if he also has a faulty dating chromosome. Nevertheless, I said from the start I'm going with Mariabel for him, and I think that's staying the case at the moment.

Royal Weapon Brady may then at least find some use as a Great Knight/Paladin.

Not sure if this has been asked, but how does Dual and Double affect experience distribution? I.e. if taking out an enemy would normally give 22 XP, but that enemy was double attacked, do both attackers gain 11 XP? What if the unit only gained the Dual Stat-Bonuses? Only dodged because of a buff from another? Things like that...

At the moment, I was going for: Male MU x Tiki = Because Adult Tiki is Krom x Mariabel = Cute! I liked their support as well. Vake x Tiamo = The Genius and the Fighter. Blonde Selena! Gaia x Sumia = The Klutz and the Candyman. Redhead Cynthia! Ronku x Liz = With such disfunctional parents, it explains alot about Wood. Henry x Nono = Whitehaired Nyun! Viole x Serge = Serge seems to be Violes retainer? Probably not using Mirial/Soiree/Velvet/Olivia for the remainder of kids; won't have time for all of them in a single playthrough (probably). As you can see, I'm not fishing for benefits, just cute couples and children with epic hair colours.

Oh, aye, its something I've tackled a bit in my own D&D setting and it can be pretty interesting to watch the interactions. The first time the party was assailed by some Verunans with 'exploding sticks' (arqubuses) took them all by surprise. By the 3rd campaign, Railtracks powered by Thunder Mages have become widespread, muskets/flintlocks have replaced arquebuses, basic printing presses, clocks and the ability to make textiles and buttons have all appeared too. But I've said there can't be an industrial revolution in the setting; since there is no coal or other abundant fossil fuel. Ephraim's good since I think they actually had a Fire Emblem artist draw him. Fanservice Micaiah is worthy; but I guess she's only a victim of female Dark Mage outfit in general. Actually, mage character designs as a rule look pretty silly. It's either fanservice or the stupid hats. Only Male dark mages seem to escape with dignity. Which is a shame, since I was thinking of making Tiamo into a Dark Mage because I think that's cool.
