  1. Wait, I still make stuff? I guess so: I decided to revamp my splice entry from set 15. Almost completely custom, with only part of the hair being reused. Old splice is on the left, the new version on the right. C+C, as always.
  2. *coughimmakingonecough* School stuff makes it hard to solidly work on a map, but I should have enough time now to make one before the deadline.
  3. Obviously voted for Prime. Even if I had the choice, though, I still would've voted for him. So fewer mistakes than mine.
  4. I am also currently in the works with something. I will try to get it in by tomorrow.
  5. Posting predominantly to show that I am still working on this playthrough. A few things relating, however, to not make this spam. First, I was lucky enough to have a mid-chapter save on chapter two, so I din't have to completely start over. (Thank goodness) Second, I have actually completed up to chapter 8; the lack of updates is due to a lack of time. I will try to get a recap tomorrow, or at the very least sometime this week.
  6. My mind has been blown at this hack's epicness. This looks amazing. I would love to help, but unfortunately I have no computer mic, nor am I a great spriter. You do have my support, though.
  7. Posting from my 3DS, so bear with any misspellings. So, I realized that I screwed up again in this playthrough, as I killed her off YET AGAIN before she had recruited everyone that she has to. Stupid Roger. As a result, I will be starting over AGAIN. For the second time. Next time you see me will be after another round of chapter 3.
  8. Chapter 3, comin' at you guys. Turncount: 24 (Still atrocious) Basically, Marth and Jagen headed left to deal with the initial Fighters, while everyone else moved north to help Julian. Navarre was the first to attack anyone, which made Caeda's job easier. With Navarre recruited, she just sat around and fell to a nearby hunter. Lena also meatshielded for a turn or two. After all the moving units were dealt with, the northern group just moved along the top of the map, while Marth and Jagen baited and killed the two hunters. The two remaining fighters were slain easily. Navarre got the privilege of Hyman's bounty; he deftly dealt two criticals, then finished him. Stats (After reclass): Name Class Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Luk Def Res Marth Lord 7.08 23 7 0 6 9 11 9 0 Abel Cavalier 5.61 22 7 0 10 9 4 9 0 Draug Fighter 3.70 24 7 0 2 11 2 3 0 Wrys Curate 4.40 17 0 4 6 7 2 3 7 Barst Fighter 6.96 26 12 0 8 9 7 6 0 Navarre Cavalier 4.95 22 7 0 2 7 8 9 0
  9. So, shortly after posting meh chapter one progress, I finished Chapter Two. Turncount: 16 Began by blocking all the bridges with bodies. Marth and Abel covered the two western bridges, while my meatshields de-equipped/traded away their weapons and face-blocked the north bridge. Caeda went sight-seeing over the ocean again, and Draug helped out Abel. Enemy phase, the initial moving enemies come, killing the axe twins in the process. (They completely ignored Ogma, however...) I also managed to get exp out of Darros. After cleaning up the north island, the rest of the chapter was baiting and smiting. Marth visited the village and got 5k to help some cleric. Ogma charged ahead and failed in his attempt to arm-wrestle Gomer; instead, Gomer fell from Marth poking him with a rapier, followed by Barst lobbing an axe at 'im. Stats: Name Class Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Luk Def Res Marth Lord 5.46 21 7 0 5 7 11 9 0 Abel Cavalier 4.59 21 7 0 9 9 3 9 0 Draug Knight 3.40 22 8 0 3 4 2 11 0 Wrys Curate 3.38 16 0 4 6 6 2 3 7 Barst Fighter 6.13 26 12 0 8 9 7 6 0
  10. Okay, so I have some good news and bad news. Good news: I managed to finish chapter 1 quite sucessfully. Bad news: I came here and noticed that Navarre was a part of the team...and I had killed Caeda off in this run of said chapter. Which always seems to happen in these types of playthroughs. So, in short, chapter one progress will be updated pro'ly tomorrow or something. After I get over my inner rage. EDIT: Okay, so after cooling off for a bit, I finished up chapter one again. Turncount: ~20 turns (I forgot to get the actual number...Regardless, the number is atrocious, I know.) First off, I had Marth and and Abel take out the thief south of their starting position. Caeda sold her useless Wing Spear and bought Mr. Saving Grace (Jagen) an iron lance. Cain traded his equipment to his buddy, then lined up with an unequiped Gordin to block pirates with their faces. Draug joined them as well, but with a weapon. Then, I sat and weathered the pirate rush, to which Cain and Gordin fell. Caeda ran and hid over the ocean in the bottom-right corner. After that was done, Marth snatched the 10k from the village (which Jagen shopped a bit more with.), then it was basically a matter of luring with Draug and slaying with Marth and Abel. Marth employed Wrys and had the curate heal him, then with Abel and Jagen, he rushed to the boss, who fell to several volleys of javelins and a rapier to da face. Marth managed two decent level-ups, and both Abel and Draug gained one, though Draug's was abysmal. Stats so far: Name Class Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Luk Def Res Marth Lord 3.91 20 6 0 4 7 9 8 0 Abel Cavalier 2.92 20 7 0 7 7 2 8 0 Draug Knight 2.30 21 7 0 3 3 2 11 0 Wrys Curate 1.68 16 0 2 5 6 2 3 6
  11. All proposed characters have been updated, with the exception of NinjaMonkey's. (No promoted class) Looking at the team so far, I say I'm getting off easy. I have some excellent characters in excellent classes (Abel, Barst), and most characters are still in relatively helpful classes for them. (Caesar, Roshea) The only weird class-switch so far is Wrys. Watch me start getting stuff like Sorcerer!Lorenz.
  12. Due to some of the team members I've proposed in some of the other Pick-My-Unit topics, I feel like attempting one of these myself. Probably not going to get much attention due to the five others that have already started, but whatever. Rules and whatnot: 1) Playthrough mode is H2, as explained in the topic. 2) I will be playing as efficiently as I know how, meaning that I might not get 4- or 5- or even 10-turncounts, but I also won't sit around 30-50 turns boss-/arena-abusing. 3) Due to reclassing appearing four chapters in, usable units before this can only gain 5 levels in their original class unless they are allowed to. 3.5) Units gotten within a chapter also follows this rule, too. 4) Jagen may be used until chapter four as well, then he is killed-off UNLESS he is chosen for the playthrough. 5) Julian may be used solely as thief utility, unless he or Rickard are chosen. 6) Non-usable units MAY: meatshield, shop, trade items, and recruit other usable characters. They MAY NOT: enter combat armed and recruit other non-usable units. I'll explain some other things as I get to them. Cool? The fighting force: 1) Marth 2) Barst: Fighter->Hero 3) Midia: Swordmaster 4) Roger: Mercenary->Horseman 5) Roshea: Cavalier->Sniper 6) Caesar: Hunter->Berserker 7) Radd: Cavalier->Swordmaster, Dracoknight 8) Abel: Cavalier->Dracoknight 9) Macellan: Mercenary->Horseman 10) Wrys: Curate->Dracoknight 11) Draug: Fighter->Hero 12) Navarre: Cavalier->Swordmaster 13) Vyland: Mage->Swordmaster 14) Maria: Cleric->Bishop 15) Tomas: Cavalier->Paladin
  13. Yet another PMU thread, another attempt at a weird combo by me. Gordin: Curate->Sage
  14. I've already started, and am using Harken as my third character. Should be interesting to see who everybody uses.
  15. ...Ah. Yes. Of course. Fail on my part. Uh, how's about... Matthis: Myrmidon->Dracoknight
  16. If it really is a bother, you can do the opposite. (Hunter->General) I forgot that knights don't have swords or bows.
  17. Here, have another pre-promote: Midia: Sniper
  18. I wouldn't mind helping out with portraits or maps, if you can't find anyone better.
  19. Whoops. I figured all the forest-related tiles can be traversed, but I guess not. Will fix. When you mean better mountains, do you mean better design or more correct tile placement?
  20. 'Nother map: As usual, point out any glaring errors or other incorrectities.
  21. They don't look too appealing to me, either, but that's how the tileset is. I, however, will try and look for a better substitute. Looking back at it, I've also noticed that I've tile-spammed the regular ground tiles a lot. Will fix both problems later.
