First: am I missing any ests/corpuls in that list? if so, tell me!!! Also, l'arachel is considered a corpul because she turns out good/ comes at a low level when you get her/ is hard to train, but come a bit earlier than most ests. Also, the reason Tormod is considered a corpul becuase he comes at a much lower level than the rest of your party and he gets celerity. I'll move sara to the corpuls. Second: I am asking whether you think the Stefan like chracter willl be cpntinued in games to come to form an archtype!! I have begun to think that there is a possibility that A.) there may be a new archetype on the horison, and B.) there has been a commonly ignored subtype for a long while. I want to describe my ideas and discuss with others. irst of all, I think that there is a possibility that there may be a "Stefan" archetype, depending on the content of future fire emblem games. The 2 requirements for this archetype would be(it is possible that in the future, "Stefan" units may only have 1 requirement, but it make s the most sense that they would have both): the first requirement is, A "stefan" must be a recruitable character. The game must give extremely(I mean extremely extremely) subtle/no inclination that this character is recruitable. The second requirement is that the method of recruiting must be very far from the norm. The method of recruitment should also be impossible/near impossible to figure out before hand and the recruitment of the "stefan" extremely unlikely to accidentally "happen". Also, carrying ou the recruitment of a "Stefan" should be difficult to perform. Examples of Stefans: Stefan FE9/10 Lehran FE10 This next one will most likekly earn me a few flames, mockery, and ridicule but I'll say it anyway. I believe that the est archetupe should actually be split into 2 archetypes.Pure "Est"'s and "Corpul"'s . Pure ests would be just like est, they come very late but when trained, turn out amazing. However a "corpul" would only fit some requirements of an "est". Perhaps they come late but do not turn out to be outstanding, but only decent(Sophiya). Or maybe they have est like stats but come a bit earlier then one may expect an est to(L'arachel). Or maybe that est character would come with a unique quality that makes that person useful, even if they have only slightly above average stats or come earlier(Tormod with celerity(FE9) and Elincia being a flying healer(FE9) ). Examples of pure ests: Est Nino miranda Zeiss(he surpasses miledy in some stats) Leaf(FE4) (tell me if this is alright, he comes late® and, being a prince, is hard to train) Exmaples of Corpuls Corpul L'arachel Elincia(FE9) Tormod(FE9) Sophia Pelleas(don't chastize me for this one, I got off of FE wiki >_<) Fiona Sara Tell me if you disagree, or think I need to add/remove stuff, please make it constructive(and don't chastize me for including X charcter as an Est, I got this from sources other than my own opinion).

Actally i previously came up with an fe idea(that i don't want to disclose). anyway, here is what I thought could be features in it. -trainee lord that you can choose to become a mage or a melee unit. said lord gets branched promotions at all promotions. - 60-70 chapters, how that would be possible I'll say later - trainnees in general - a large ammount side quests - 3rd tiers. - branched promotions in trainee-1rst and 2nd-3rd tiers only - more chatracters of the developing stefan archetype( I know its not yet an archetype but I think it will be. The grounds for it are a hidden character who has no clues in game on how to unlock and are overly complicated to unlock) - thracia776 difficulty - FE10 skill system implemented - bring back biorythyms, but make them have different effects - more conplex weapon triangle - thieves in this game must not suck(FE6, 9, 10, 11) and not be completely broken( FE5, 8) - new classes - let there be no ofiey, pure jeigans only. - the Est must be significantly hard to train but must have: unique class with special abilities, great stats. - FE10 bexp system - no arenas - support conversations - Alot of indoor maps with treasure - promoting in this game represents higher honor. There are some chapters that only X-tier units can be in(some are 1rst tier only, 2nd tier and above only, ect.) - There will only be one gohtoh who is not completely broken. Not five completely broken gohtoh units that are automatically unlocked - branched promotions can afect the storyline/ gaiden chapter entry - some charcaters have secret branched promotions at second tier - Gaiden chapter are both rewards, punishments, and compenstaion. Examples: reward gaiden chapter description: obtained by completing ch. x in x turns. compensation gaiden chapter description: not promoting unit x by ch. x, easy chapter that gives forced promotion. pumishment gaiden chapter description: represents the reprocussion failing to recruit unit x or killing unit x. very hard chapter with no rewards. Units are really powerful but low level so they don't give much exp - implement capturing - make the game so hackers cannot hack into it ( gameshark, action replay, rom hacking ect.) so a discovery is a real discovery and there is a chance to discover somthing new even if your a newby. - make a perfect playthrough mode( a new member, kinata, will probably tell you more about this). - make over-complicated and seemingly pointless challenges that produce incredible results( a good example of a usuable situation is stealing Hetzel's heal staff in ch. 4-4[ doing this in FE10 yields no reward though]) - make the story line more mature than recent titles(FE4 maturity). Greater story quality than FE4. - The game will encompass the entire continent where you will constantly switch armies and countries perspectives. Only more than 70 chapter of it. - Make the continent take place in the same universe as FE8 and FE10( a plot twist is finding out that tellius and magvel are in the same universes) - Lyon plays a role as a playable character.(he is washed up on the shore with no memory. In a series of gaiden chapters he regains his memory.) - Ike is a stefan character(soren/ ranulf can be unlocked with him if you data transfer) - make the true ending a secret and hard to unlock( but its not obvious like FE6) There may be more I'm forgetting to write. If so I'll alter my post.

I personally said Amelia, heres why. I'm not getting very detailed though unless this this topic really gets heated. I personally think that training wise, amelia and Ewan bralance each other out. Amelia comes 3 chapters earlier. This means that the enemies are weaker making it easier to mooch kill(you must mooch kill for both of them so that is somthing you can't really argue against). And, even though she comes with an 11 weight javelin, you can easily give her a slim lance. Ewan comes later with a simular situation and stats to Amelia, only the enemies are tougher.h On the flip side of this, Ewan is a bit faster then Amelia, meaning0. he can double. He also has 1-2 range which is great. This makes them about balanced(ok, maybe Ewan is better by a hair, no, an eylash However, look at their super trainee promotions, Ewan gets light+dark magic and Amelia gets + 15 crit. between one or the other, i'd choose Amelia hands down.(the super trainee classes are arguably their best choices considering all the factors.( weapons, bonuses ect.) By this, I would say that Amelia is beter than Ewan by an eyelash. I would still use Ewan over Amelia any day though. I like hi better.

I was (sorta) joking Bk666. You take everything very seriously. in FE10, critcals always hit. Meaning that if normally you would miss the attck but you get a critical, it hits. That is, in my opinion, the only reason to use Volke becasue with gamble, he constantly gets crit percentages of 60, 70, 80, 90, and 100%. In FE10, crit is like a second, more powerful hit stat that most units stink in.
