Donnel and even the three trainees from FE8 made it in, I'm baffled that "early female character from a modern era game who's also probably a waifu" isn't yet. On the other hand, she'd likely be a premium unit instead of a demote, so it's not like I'd ever get her...

More people are using this thread than expected so I decided to add a bonus question and see how you'd design their kits. For my suggestions, obviously the Crusaders and Legends would get buffed versions of the weapons they're known for (Roland could pull an Altina and dual wield Echesachs and Binding Blade) and the Messenger would be an insta-demote with Atk/Spd Clash 3 Swift Sparrow 2 if IS was feeling generous. Nada Kuya on the other hand would have a Falchion. Considering how much Saleh praises her, maybe she could have a kit that turns her into a one-woman army, like an even more oppressive version of Lucia's Nihil sword?

Isn't that just Donnel post-puberty? Seriously though, I forgot about her Paralogue. These are all really fun ideas too!

Inspired by this Reddit post and our shared realization that since both FE8 and FE15 are out of women to sell outside of Ismaire and Nuibaba respectively, we may not see banners from them anymore. Anyway, are there any characters in the series you think would be a massive stretch yet you'd still like to see? I've said this before but I'd like to see Nada Kuya from FE8 one day, but she's even more obscure than Ullr in that she doesn't even have an illustration showing what she may have looked like. For NPCs, I mentioned the Frelian Messenger on Reddit too, but I doubt she has a chance either since she wasn't even eligible for CYL and isn't memorable or a meme like Gatekeeper or Brigand Boss. For more realistic expectations, it would be nice to get the remaining Crusaders and Elibe Legends, even if IS only chooses to make the women. How about all of you?

I really liked Sonya's story and this. Finding a link between the morphs and the witches and letting Sonya and Niime bond over them was genius. I was indifferent to Mycen's story and disappointed with Peony's which amounted to... nothing, really. Triandra's was a little better in that regard? I liked how it ended with the dokkalfar deciding to give humans a chance and now I wish we'd gotten a Forging Bonds for Plumeria last month to dig deeper into that, but alas. 🤣

I was partly kidding about Alfonse, but I do think we could have gotten a lot more out of Kvasir's situation. As for the second point:

All four of them were born humans. Peony and Triandra are sisters after all, and Plumeria's issues stem from a neglectful mother. I don't remember Mirabilis' backstory, but she was a human girl too. Also, considering Hestia and Marla were complete non-entities, I think their inclusion was just a case of shoving them into FEH where it made sense (i.e. alongside Sonya or Jedah) and calling it a day. There was no way they'd be able to carry a banner or even feature in one without looking like wasted space. But SoV is in a weird position now that all the girls have regular alts. A friend of mine is a huge Mae fan, so maybe we could get Attuned Mae and Boey alts next time? This banner feels like a look into a possible future for FE8 banners too, since Magvel's run out of girls as well*. More than anything though, the fact that we've gotten a second unit type based on inheriting skills and still don't have an inheritance cap increase (or outright removal) is what gets me. I really hope that changes in Book VIII, if not via an emergency update in November. * Unless we get Ismaire or Dara I guess. I'm personally hoping for a surprise Nada Kuya in the vein of Ullr, but I know that'll never happen...

Yeah. Which is a shame, because her spending a chapter nursing Kiran back to health only to reveal she's Gullveig's past self was a nice way to introduce her, but then she just... did nothing until she showed up here to be killed. Maybe if we'd spent a few chapters with her post-reveal we could have seen her struggle with knowing what will happen despite not wanting to hurt anyone, after which her death would have come off as a much messier and tragic "mercy kill/ this is for the greater good-type deal" than the source of jokes about Alfonse being a callous child killer it wound up being. Turns out Arvis had a fourth kid.

Thanks! I didn't realize the seasonals were still that far back. My bad! So yeah, I guess I still have plenty of time to get some good A skills for her before merging her becomes optimal. And that's assuming we don't get some other F2P GHB/ TT+ Green Mage first!

I'm honestly shocked by the sheer amount of nothing in this chapter. Wasn't this the penultimate one? You'd expect a little more to do, but I think we only got two cutscenes and Kvasir died in the second. I wish we'd at least gotten some scenes from her perspective or something while she was running away. I'd almost suspect Nerthuz of being another secret enemy but... yeah.

I have Eliwood and don't use him, but I'll keep this in mind too. P.S. I assume this is also the best build for a more recent Green Mage like Teatime Tailtiu? I really wish that name rhymed.

So you're saying I need to wait for another B!Seliph to fodder Clash to someone? Boo... I'll keep an eye out for anyone who can use Flow Refresh though, thanks for the tip!

That makes more sense, thank you! Thank you very much! By the same token, I assume it's fine to use Triandra just for Atk/Spd Clash, or are her other skills really useful to inherit too?

If I do get either twin I'll likely just merge them with the copy I already have, so I can afford to fish for alternate skills, thanks! Are you suggesting Gambit 4 just because it's a premium skill? It only grants 20% DR... which I suppose is still a good amount, to be fair. Thank you for suggesting builds for all four of them! A quick question about the new Peony: I know Cross Spurs are extremely niche already, but is A/S Unity a good skill to inherit onto units or should I just use her to copy Flared Sparrow and A/S Oath 4 from my spare Gullveig?

Thanks! And got it! I'll just focus on her Spd. Besides, Atk/Spd Oath 4 will still work with Iris' Tome too, won't it? So I can always swap back if I need to (I'm thinking of changing her +Eff refine I had before to +Spd in the process). I do feel bad about getting rid of her Prf after all! Unfortunately I still don't have a Remote Sparrow to spare, so I'll just stick with G Duel Infantry or an easier to get skill for now. I don't plan on building Bastian anytime soon, but I'll keep the suggestion in mind! Who knows, maybe we'll get a GHB/ TT+ Green Mage who'll just be begging for a copy of Sonya's kit, like K!Soren did for Plumeria. I think I have Atk/Def Rein 3 so this build looks good to me! Unfortunately I'm pretty sure my only source of A/D Clash is R!Lif and I'm not sure if I should give his sword to og!Eirika since she may be too slow for Devourer and even then I don't want to waste either his or F!Chrom's other fodder... Speaking of Clash though, the FE8 HoF has been confirmed to be L!Ephraim, L!Eirika, Y!Innes and W!Artur. Do Ephraim and Eirika just want Clash and Menace skills (A/D for him, A/S for her) along with Ruptured Sky or would Eirika want Flared Sparrow? I assume Innes just wants that Nino build you suggested with Phys FU instead. Thanks again! I guess I'll be doing a lot of building and summoning over the next few days.

Thanks for the heads-up! I have a spare B!Robin, but I'm really hoping for someone I know I won't regret building. And considering Robin has both AS Finish AND Gambit 4... Here's hoping! Though we really do desperately need a buff to skill inheritance.

I can do that. Flow N Trace would still be a good B Slot skill right? Hmm. It's so infuriating that we still don't have any AS Finish 3 sources (and that the skill inherit cap hasn't been increased after all this time). I suspect Push or Swift Sparrow 3 will be my best options for the time being then. Yay.

Gotcha. I may as well inherit both to her then, even if I don't use Hexblade. I'm pretty sure Bonus Doubler is in the F2P pool... Thanks! Now I'm really hoping the very next Attuned Skill isn't Spd Oath Echo but I'm pretty sure I have at least one source of A/S Oath 4 right now so I can just focus on Lumera for now. What alternate A Skill would you suggest for Nino when it comes to regular gameplay? I confess I've never paid much attention to mage units and the ones I have seen I'm pretty sure all just used Ideal skills. P.S. I'm thinking of doing something with Arion too. I have an Alfred but figured A/D Catch 4 and A/D Near Trace from F!Gustav would be a good starting point. I don't have any T4 Guidance skills though, what would his best C Skill be? Lumera and Nino are my priorities at the moment though, so I'm not too fussed about this guy at the moment.

Thanks! So I'll go with Vital Astra, Distant A/S Solo, CC4, A/S Oath 4 with NFU in the Seal slot for now, since my only copy of Phys FU right now is a second Febail. It doesn't seem like Spd/Res Hexblade has any potential users outside of some incredibly small niche but... yeah. Let me know if I should fodder him though! I forgot I have some spare Fallen Morgans for A/R Menace and a Nott for A/S Menace if those count for anything? Since Nott has DC I could also give her to Lumera. If not I guess I'll go for Arcane Caliburnus +Spd, [G Duel Infantry 4/ something else for general use], Flare, Mag FU, A/S Oath 4 and... some other speed booster in the S Slot. Thanks again! Gotcha, thanks! I'll wait for someone to show up with Spd Oath Echo then. Considering it's just a skill and not a full weapon I imagine we won't be waiting too long. And with Atk Oath Echo out, I have no need to run A/S Unity on her so back to Distant A/S Solo I go! Thank you very much for the warning! I'll stick to Vital Astra then. Since CC4 comes from the same place as Distant Solo I may use that as well for now and you're saying Atk/ Spd Oath 4 is better than Spd Smoke 4 too? To be honest I haven't done much with Nino, nor do I have her Resplendent. Arcane Caliburn makes charging Flare easy so I have her weapon, Special and B slot set (Mag NFU). I don't know what I can give her on top of that though. She'd like an Oath 4 skill too, wouldn't she? As I said before, I have a bunch of Pents to give her G Duel Infantry 4 and Time's Pulse, but with Caliburn's inbuilt Breath effect she doesn't really need it. Thanks again, Ether!

Is this still the case now that Atk Oath Echo is a thing? For example, while I don't think I have Spd Smoke 4 fodder at the moment, I did consider a meme Dodge tank build with it, Vital Astra and Close Call 4 with NFU as a Seal, but that's probably too gimmicky to work. (Maybe Peony's Atk/ Spd Unity instead of Distant A/S Solo too?) Thankfully Sonya being an infantry Rearmed Hero makes Flare easier to put on Heroes, so I can just go with it and Mag NFU and put Cyril on the backburner. Speaking of Sonya, considering she doesn't have an effect that scales off of Atk like Plumeria did, would her tome be good on older units like og!Nino and if I did would Atk/Res Ploy 3 work on her? I'll definitely be spending a lot of Orbs on this banner so I'll probably have a Peony to spare for fodder even if I'm also foddering her to Lumera too. Maybe Atk/ Spd Unity for general content and G Duel Infantry 4 if I need a ranged option in Arena? I have more Pents than I know what to do with. Either way, thanks yet again for your advice, Ice! UPDATE: Turns out I had a spare Flame!Lyn. Would Lumera prefer the guaranteed DR from Godlike Reflexes over the 30% from Vital Astra? Thanks again, all!

It's funny that the trailer still uses the same "these Heroes will appear in future summoning events" despite three of the four immediately being listed as exceptions. While the doubling up of OCs is obviously a surprise I'm happy to see them and I'm glad the Attuned mechanic really is just "Arcane skills". You don't get inheritable weapons but in exchange the Heroes still have Prf weapons to help their Arena scores. I wonder if we'll get Attuned Heroes in pairs from now on? ...probably not. The "Attuned" probably refers to their bonds with whoever you fodder them to. But speaking of Arcane skills: we finally have a green Arcane tome AND Sonya's an infantry unit so she can clone Flare and Mag NFU for me! The tome is pretty tame compared to the other two but it's better than nothing? Also, I think this confirms that the only reason we got a Feh Channel for Rearmed Heroes was because Lif was just that popular. Heck, he got a full animated short where Eir just had that chibi live wallpaper. I did wonder for a while if that would be the case and... now we know!
