Rebellion or no rebellion, the story straight up is not about "reforming nohr from within". Whether Nohr ends up having changed or not by the end of the game is completely incidental to what the story actually ended up revolving around.

it'd make the Most Sense imo, if overthrowing Garon involved more than making a decision on a whim to do so with a handful of personal guards and some siblings. As things stand, you're really not "changing nohr" so much as "assassinating the current king". And since the world of FE:If isn't very deep or nuanced, that's all it takes -- but I was hoping for something a little more when they kept hammering that the plot of the Nohr side was more complex.

and yet, that's pretty much exactly what endsup happening the way the story currently plays out by having the characters make the decision to overthrow Garon at the very end of the story, on a dime. If You could probably develop the hows and whys of said revolution much more deeply if the entire story actually revolved around it as the marketing made it seem.

This sounds like the worst-case scenario for how the Nohr path could have played out. I was already concerned the story was headed this direction when, during that E3 demo of the nohr side, Garon told Kamui to suppress the ice tribe rebellion and Kamui basically went "k. brb." Not once questioning the morality of it. Just the difficulty of the task. Ugh...I had hoped the Nohr side would be about gathering allies(like say, those ice tribes they mentioned)and plotting to overthrow Garon while trying to deal with the invasion. You could even have had the tables flipped around on Nohr, so that Hoshido would be the invading party since Nohr would be in disarray if a rebellion broke out during their own invasion. Anything but Kamui blindly obeying Garon and then doing a heel turn at the very end.

??? Aside from maybe Rinkah as blacksmith, i'm not seeing it. Kagerou in particular doesn't have a smidgen of blue on her!

So they actually do grow up and have a normal live and stuff. Alright, I'm much more OK with this one if they just grow up normally in a parallel dimension rather than being weird mutants that grow up in two weeks. It's still stupid, but Awakening-level stupid at least.
