this is bullshit I'm not even a huge fan of Ike or Lyn and even like Fates to a degree and loved Awakening (so yes, I like the old and quote on quote "new games") but I cannot let Camilla win this for the SAKE OF THIS FRANCHISE. She is literally the definition of "sex sells", there is no argument here. Heck, the fact that IS made her seduce Corrin, who she once thought was her own brother for most of her goddamn life, is disgusting and as much as I hate to admit, the only reason that she got support was because of her boobs. I don't care if you like the old games, Awakening, or Fates... I respect all the games. Camilla on the other hand, is a cancer that I and many others cannot get behind. Our souls won't allow it.

Thotmilla cannot win. For the sake of this franchise. Reminder that she tried to seduce who she thought was her genuine brother for her whole life to go bathe in a hot spring, have *intimate relations*, and marry her. No... Fire Emblem cannot sink to such low levels of cancer. I am going to finally participate in this gauntlet. GO IKEEEEEEEEEE!

So seriously that if Camilla wins we are going to get a Fates remake before a Blazing Sword Remake.

As a bystander I have to admit this is very exciting to view from an outside perspective. The multipliers sure do spice things up.

Fire Emblem's sales have ALWAYS been front loaded, meaning the overwhelming majority of lifetime sales happen during the first month, with insane drop off in sales afterwards.

I add a dash of realistic pessimism in a forum full of unreal optimism. Someone has to do it... I predict this will be the worst selling First Party Switch game by a longshot.

You guys actually think they'll be more SD characters other than the already confirmed Marth and the heavily implied Tiki? Those are the ONLY TWO SD characters who are gonna be in the game. If Marth wasn't the mascot of the franchise and Tiki not already in Awakening in her older form, IS and Koei wouldn't give a crap about SD and would let it burn in hell along with every other game not named Awakening/Fates.

WHat does popularity have to do with visuals and art style? I agree with @Anacybele. The cel shaded Awakening Anime artstyle does not translate well into HD three dimensional models

Frederick was left out cuz nobody cares for him in comparison to Chrom, Lucina, Robin, and the Royals.

Yes, but my demands are minor. I am not asking for the whole worlds of Tellius, Elibe, and Valentia to be represented. I am simply asking for one of those 4 characters. if NONE of them make it in, then to call this game "Fire Emblem" Warriors is a ridiculous, especially wen you can't even get the most popular character who also has an amiibo in the game.

So with even more Awakening characters confirmed, what are the chances of Ike, Roy, Alm, and Celica, given that they all have Amiibo and seem to be the frontrunners for non Awakening/Fates/SD characters. If none of them make it in the base games, I refuse to buy this game and will never support IS in any of their future FE related endeavors. I'm sick of them not acknowledging older fans, who stuck with them through thick and thin.
