  1. Preference: Extra I would definitely be up for a hydra or just an assistant. Alternatively an entity related to a servant. I wish to latch on to someone else and leech off their main characters, yeeeesss.
  2. I'm caught up reading in both flight and rev now
  3. Fate/Zero was originally a novel, and you can find a translation of it here if you'd like to try that. I haven't read it so I can't speak to how good the translation is though. EDIT: oh lol, I had the page open before I saw your post
  4. So question for the GMs Would you guys be fine with me RPing non-essential character/s? NPCs or familiars or such, probably hooked up with someone else who's playing a master/servant.
  5. “A journal…” Elliot repeated. Perhaps he should keep one. He could bring back stories to mom. Then there were some noises from the emblem box and Joana squeaked and left the wagon. Elliot watched her leave with a confused expression. “Um… Should we go see?” he asked Jam. --- Kimiko had gotten distracted by a few stalls and fallen behind, but on the other hand she’d managed to find most of her explosive supplies in the market outside the gate. She eventually caught up to the rest of the group with a crate cradled in her arms. Just in time too, as it looked like they were just about to go through the gate.
  6. Pref: Either really Opinion: coolio Level of Knowledge: I know things o_o Ability to donate time: ...uuuuh
  7. Valter looked back over his shoulder as he left the bank. His errand had gone off without a hitch, but the horseman was still on edge. He had looked at the wanted posters as he entered town and was pretty sure word from Europa of his actions hadn’t reached Ursaea yet. Even so, however, he couldn’t help but worry. Once news did reach the city if his bank visit became known the military would know which direction they had headed… Well, there was no point worrying about it now that he was carrying a few hundred gold under his borrowed cloak. Pulling the hood a bit further down over his face, Valter began to trek back through the city towards the group’s makeshift campsite. --- Kamal was getting used to this, and it was starting to worry him. He was currently standing outside Ursaea’s prison with Gregory and Charles’s horses and cart. His bosses were currently inside handing over Lagar, discussing the bounty, and deciding what to do with the wagon they’d retrieved from the scene. Meanwhile Kamal was watching their things, impatiently crossing his arms, and twitching with anticipation for when this whole job was over. He was itching for a fight and planned to find one in one of the shadier bars in town, despite such a situation being the reason he ended up with these two numbskulls in the first place. --- “Oh,” Elliot said in response to Elrey’s reason for getting lost. Poor doggie… The avian soon had a thoughtful look on his face, though. From all he’d heard the last few days, it sounded like excitement followed this group everywhere they went. Was that because they were exciting, because they were drawn to excitement, or because it was drawn to them? “If we’re gonna have a lot of stories, maybe we should write a book or something…” Meanwhile Elrey rolled over, stretching his head closer to Jam.
  8. Alright, I'm caugh up reading in Flight. I... might need a summary of rev. Going to look at that later since I think I'm heading out soon
  9. I'm going to be on IRC and trying to catch up Thursday, maybe Wednesday afternoon. I get home on Friday.
  10. I've got finals next week and then im free for like half a month ;n;
  11. No worries, Reign's brother is Elrey too. I just named the dog before I knew that.
  12. After leaving Phyllis with Nadya, Valter began heading off towards the city entrance. --- Elrey leaned into Jam’s touch. The dog was thoroughly enjoying himself. Meanwhile Elliot had looked up when Jam entered, only to stare back at the ground as he sulked. He didn’t turn his attention to her again till she spoke to him. “My name is Elliot,” he said. Then, with a tilt of his head, “How long was the doggie missing? Did he run away?”
  13. Well, now Bert looked to be the one confused. The horseman would explain when he got back, probably. For now Valter was going to try to finish is business as quickly as possible. Taking Phyllis’s reins, he led the horse over to Nadya to hand her off. “Please keep a good eye on her,” he said. --- Kimiko had taken out her list of supplies as she walked towards Greta. She had intended to ask if others could help keep an eye out for some of the materials, but when she saw Angelica hand over her own list the alchemist thought it might be a bit much to ask more of Greta. “Erm…” What was this about the prince? She’d gathered from what she’d heard that the list was make up. “If you do not mind, I could help look for some of your items,” she said.
  14. Yo, so my laptop has pretty much given up the ghost. I'm getting this sorted out and should have a replacement next week, but I'm not sure how much longer this thing is going to work. I can't get it to start when I turn it off so I may be absent for a few days if it gives up completely @__@
  15. “Yes, we can. We might also learn from each other as well,” Kimiko replied with a smile. Greta was raring to leave, and the alchemist realized she may be left behind at this rate. Best to get moving. “I am also coming with you, Greta,” she called over. As soon as the merchant began heading out she would leave with them. --- Angelica was apparently offering disguises in the form of make up, but Valter doubted it would help much with his predicament. Mismatched eyes were much harder to hide than other facial features. When he looked back to Norbert the man was nodding. What he said, however… Valter couldn’t tell whether Bert was inventing an excuse for him or thought he knew what the horseman was up to. Either way, it wasn’t immediately registering what the man was getting at and the horseman briefly shot him a blank, questioning look before replying. “I am aware. I know how to avoid the guards. As for my appearance, though, this’ll have to do, he said and pulled up the hood. It hid most of his hair, at least.
  16. But... that what most things listed there are xD. It's all faulty reasoning, not necessarily on purpose. Screwing up between the premises and conclusion, to use your description. They're bad ways to argue yeah, but it's because arguments based on them are built off of faulty logic. Anyway, regardless if they're actually fallacies or not, please don't use them, Snowy. My reasoning behind the link was a handy guide of what not to do when discussing topics.
  17. So after arguing with you on various topics over the past 7 or so years... I've told you this before, but you need to stop straw manning. Please, please stop using logical fallacies. You can't argue against what you think someone believes or said, it has to be what they actually said. Too many times I've seen you try to tell other people what it is they think instead of actually reading their arguments. It's especially bad in IRC, and even happens when you post in RPs. I would suggest not only rereading what you have written in response, but rereading the original post/argument several times before even attempting to respond. EDIT: You do know Snowy's 25, right? Not that this doesn't apply regardless, but...
  18. Ah, that would help. “Thanks,” Valter said, receiving the cloak from Pete. What to do about his eyes, though? “Like what?” he asked. “I suppose an eye patch would work, but would cause a similar problem…” He needed his glasses to see, though with his bad eye covered he could probably get away without them. He could let his hair down and comb it over one side of his face. It wouldn’t be nearly as effective as an eyepatch if he still wanted to see clearly, however. Valter was pulling the cloak round his shoulders when Bert questioned him. The horseman considered his answer for a moment. “…Something like that,” he said eventually. He actually wasn’t planning to talk to his father at all, just to take some of his money. That didn’t sound like the noblest thing to say out loud, though. When Nadya confirmed she’d watch his horse, Valter nodded to her. “Thank you,” he said. --- Inside the wagon, Elliot huffed. Miss June wasn’t going to take him into the city and he was quite upset. At least the dog was keeping him company. With a good amount of the group outside the wagon, Elrey had sprawled out in one of the empty spaces and Elliot was scratching his belly.
  19. Editted my Flight post to include Valter
  20. Kimiko was going through one of her bags, triple checking her supplies when Hoshi approached her. The alchemist looked up with an apologetic smile. “Hello. Um.. I would not mind speaking of alchemy, but I intended to leave with Greta. I may not be here long,” she explained. “As for my specialties, however,” she continued more cheerfully, “I am very good with runes and imbuing. Weapons not so much, but I do a lot of delicate repair work on items.” ((EDIT: Added Valter things)) Well, the bounty hunter incident hadn’t gone as badly as it could’ve. Gregory had taken a swing at Alphonse before Charles had talked him down, and though the two groups hadn’t parted on the best of terms they had been allowed to collect the wagon’s water. Now two days later, on the outskirts of Ursaea, Valter had a conundrum. While he realized how bad of an idea it was for him to enter the city, if word of his activities in Europa hadn’t yet reached them he could probably collect family funds from the bank. Considering he was on the run this was likely his last chance to do so. He hadn’t experienced want of money before and he certainly didn’t want to start now if he could help it. Phyllis trailing behind him, Valter walked over to the others gathered near the front of the wagon. “I also need to go into the city, briefly. I’d be grateful if someone could lend me a hood or disguise of some sort,” he said. It was unlikely he could stick around to help Greta. He could probably still assist indirectly, though. “If Nadya’s going with you and is willing to take her, Greta, you can borrow Phyllis.” Riding her into the city himself might draw more attention, and he wasn’t about to leave her here with Eva’s wyvern around. That seemed like the next best thing.
  21. Er, you can leave it as is if you want, Eail, but Gregory isn't terribly close to the group. Pretty much everything he's been saying he's been yelling over or just generally being loud. There'd be a good several meters of distance Al'd have to cover to reach Lagar and Gregory would've tried to stop him before he got close enough to kick Lagar in the head :x
  22. Oh wow I thought the bios were because the OP was taking those characters. Yeah don't do premades unless it's canon characters. Even then, the RPer should be doing the bios and such.
  23. OK SO I fucked up flight and its been at a point no one wants to do anything at. I'm gonna try to wrap this up asap and we can get a ts going on so people can actually do what they want.
  24. “Ah, well… I’m sorry you were unfortunate to come across this,” Charles told Greta. Though he had become desensitized to this kind of scene over the years, he did acknowledge that to most it would be unsettling at least. Meanwhile Valter was mulling over returning to the rest of their group to tell them about picking up water. Perhaps they should check the ruined wagon first though, to make see how much there was. He looked over to their wagon and was surprised to see it stopped. Huh. The gunshot startled Valter and the other three men, but Charles had at least seen the pistol come out. “That was a terrible idea,” he said, though he sounded more concerned about it than upset. The reason for that soon became apparent as Gregory brandished his axe and glared daggers in Greta’s direction. “Don’t you DARE touch my bounty, you got that? I don’t give a shit about your grudge, don’t mess with my gold.” Lagar indeed got a face full of debris, and after the initial shock wore off he turned his head as far as he could to see where it had come from. He’d known there were other people here, sure, but he hadn’t actually seen them till now. The voice he’d been hearing finally placed as he saw Greta. Despite his position, Gregory’s anger left him feeling pretty brazen. It wasn’t like he had anything to lose at this point. “Who says I’m getting hanged, love? No one’s ever managed to bring me in before. I wonder why that was, hmm?” “Because you’re a sack of shit, so shut up,” Gregory said, stomping down harder on his back.
