  1. I didn't add a pair up section for this since everyone aside from like Mozu gives great bonuses. Yeah people Rinka, Hinata and Kagerou have really amazing bonuses, but the rest are almost as good.
  2. Giving your Corrin the first speed wing would be a good idea. You need ~15 spd to double most of the unpromoted generics(which is most of the the game) then like upper 20/low 30s for most promoted enemies. Baki would appreciate the second wing. You will usually have enough money for the shop speed wing since funds in Hosh is pretty lol so you can give that wing to who ever needs it at that point. The spirit dusts are best given to Hinoka and Baki for the shock stick use. A +mag Corrin will have enough mag for the orko's

  4. Not for Nohr. I did do one for IK though. I'll just copy paste it here I made a list of it somewhere that I'm to lazy to dig up. So here is a rough idea in one of the augmented tier list format. This is mostly a gist of things Starting Party: Kamui, Azura, First Servant, Gunter. - Always relevant and join early Prepromotes: Camilla, Ryoma, Xander, Leon, Yuugiri, Asyura, Flora, Fuuga. - Standard pre-promote reasons. low investment high returns. Useful with some investment: Yomi, Takumi, Kagerou, Flannel, Silas, Sakura. - These guys need some effort to get going, but they will make up for it easily. Useful with investment: Baki, Oboro, Kaze, Hinata, Nishiki, Hana, Luna. - These guys have some problems, but they will be worth the effort. Useful with more investment: Hinoka, Saizou, Orochi, Elise, Mozume, Belka, Second Servant. A lot of problems, but they can make up for it down the road. Needs a lot of investment: Pieri, Lazward, Rinka Asama, Zero, Setsuna. - A lot of problems. Maybe they are worth it, maybe they aren't. Up to you. Rest in peace: Charlotte, Arthur, Nyx, Benoit, Effie. - Yeah nothing is going to be happening to these guys. Odin: Odin - Odin And that is a general idea of the units in IK based on Lunatic. Changes can easily be made since I only made this list in like 3 minutes, but it gets the point across.
  5. Well the latter half don't join until the late game. Children vary depending on parents and the like. Yuugiri's bulk is questionable for the latter half of the game. Crimson and Ryoma don't really have downsides aside from low exp gain for awhile(Though Crimson's res is sketch). In Hard no grind classic there shouldn't be much issue with using those 3 though Rinka will need a lot support. You mostly would just need to prove via averages and enemy stats that Baki is equal in combat to other units(Doing similar damage or both orkoing). If Baki has similar combat to Oboro, then Baki is better since he has the extra-movement and flight. Sure base 10 spd and 35% growth may sound really bad, but when you get enough funds in Hoshido where buying tonics is trivial and you fight unpromoted enemies for 75% of the game with enemies like the Hosh!9 DMs having 6 Spd and the Hosh!14 Cavs having 9 Spd, then it isn't really an issue. Same thing with the shockstick. Sure Baki has base 0 Mag and 15% growth, but with 2 mag(before boosts, 9 after) he is actually able to ORKO the armor knights in chapter 14 and do like 80% everything else. Rallies and Staves vary from person to person so can't really convince of that. Though staves in Fates are Mag/3, so heals are pitiful and Baki's low mag doesn't actually hurt him in that department. Yeah, the 1st means that Corrin had whatever gender needed so that they join first. By joining earlier, they are just better than joining later.

Just in the future don't post stuff from my personal sub since it like 95% of the time me just posting so I can look over it or have someone else proof it for me to post on the main sub. Everything I post on the main sub(or here on SF for that matter) is 100% fair game though.
  7. I have no problems with you reading it, only a problem with you posting it else where. If I was ready for it to be posted else where, I would have posted it on the main sub-reddit so then everyone could see it instead of leaving it on my personal sub filled with test posts and the like. A more up-to-date version would be something like: This is assuming efficiency on Lunatic. Also no Link bonuses, visitor bonuses, buying skills, or buying stuff from other people's MyCastle. Always Useful: Corrin, Hinoka, Azura, Jakob(1st), Felicia(1st) Pretty much the same here, just moving Hinoka above Azura and separating the Servants Useful With No Investment: Ryoma, Crimson, Yuugiri, Child Units*, Izana, Yukimura, Asyura Removing the filler tier that I had last time. Child Units are weird with tiering, but for the most part they don't really need investment(unless you count pairing off the parents against them) Very Useful With Investment: Baki, Silas, Kaze, Takumi, Saizou Magical Baki has been proven and tested, turning him basically into a second Hinoka(which is really great). He still has his physical and support options in addition to flight so he covers every option basically. Silas is Silas. Kaze needs a bit of bulk boosters for the late game. Takumi I could see going down a notch or two since he doesn't do much in the mid-game. I'll need to see how he does as a GKW with an Arms Scroll for the lance rank. Saizou has a slower start than Kaze, but better late game since he has some good bulk Useful With Investment: Oboro, Nishiki, Hinata No change here really. These guys have pretty good bases to go pretty far in the game. Aren't as useful as the ones above them, but still pretty useful. Moderately Useful With Investment: Sakura, Kagerou, Orochi, Hana, Felicia(2nd), Asama, Setsuna, Jakob(2nd) These guys have a variety of issues such as bad bases, staff lock, join time, growths, ect.Once you get past that, they will be pretty good. Require Heavy Investment to be Moderately Useful: Rinka, Mozu, Yomi These guys have really terrible starts and aren't useful at all for a while. Doesn't help that their results after training are similar to other units who took much less effort to get(except for maybe Yomi, but he really really sucks.
  8. You mean the write up that I wasn't even finished with? Or even posted on the main sub-reddit?I mean it is more update, but still has refinement and proofing that needs to be done. The sentiments are all basically up to date. There are still some options for units that I'm still exploring and looking through so I wouldn't say 100% complete.
  9. Worth noting that that list I made is sorta out of date and there are a few changes I would make if I re-did it. It for the most part works though.
  10. Cavalier would be the best option for her Marriage sealing to. It gives Open Assault which fixes up most combat issues she may be having. Samurai also works if you're into that kinda of gamble for her.
  11. You could, or you could reclass Kaze and Saizou to dread fighter, and they earlier. They all get the same results and performance.
  12. For Hinata Trueblade > Blacksmith/Shura/Weapon Master. Hinata is already one of the bulkiest units in Birthright, anything more for him just gets to the point of overkill(except Res which he would like a lot more of, but none of his options help him with that). Trueblade keeps his offense up(mostly speed).

  14. Back when I first started didn't think much Hinata on either route. But man those base stats are really good for Birthright and insta-promoted Hinata can put in work for early game Revelations on Lunatic. Used to think that Lazward > Pieri, but now it is the other way around. Only meaningful thing he has over Pieri is Hp(debatably skill) and they are either basically the same in some areas(Str, Spd, Def) or Pieri is just better than him(Weapon Ranks, Class, Move, Res). For the longest time I didn't get Asama. Now I'm at the point where I'm pretty sure he just isn't good. All the other staff/support units are better than him. And his combat doesn't really standout from everyone else and he had to go through the motions of being a staff lock while everyone else has been putting in work since their joins.

  16. A man can hope that they fix IK. Past that I don't really expect much to be changed aside from maybe the Brigand Weapons.
  17. Felicia mostly works since she gives speed in pair up and can pass down a high level promoted skill really early on. Probably something like Falco!Sakura or GKW!Takumi even though they can't S support. Ryoma's offense is already basically unrivaled. Only way you can better him is by helping his bulk or movement.
  18. I would probably just go for: Silas x Hinoka(if Oboro!Matoi) or Felicia(if Hinoka!Matoi) Ryoma x Oboro(if Hinoka!Matoi) Takumi or Saizou x Azura or Felicia. About covers it.
  19. So with your restrictions, you have an initial team of Corrin, Ryoma, Hinoka, Takumi, Sakura, Baki, Azura, Kaze, and Oboro. So you could use about 3 more. I'd recommend taking Felicia, Silas and probably Saizou. All three of them are pretty great units.
  20. Mods were overrated in Awakening Apothesis. Classes and Skills were more important and any slight statistical deficit from mods could be overcome with Pair up bonuses, LB, Tonics and Rallies.
  21. Pieri is alright for Xander, but you could do better for him with Charlotte and Selena. Her inheriting Wyvern Lord from him though would make for a pretty great Pieri though. Pieri is best with Lazward however.
  22. Obligatory I mean if you fully commit him/her to mag or staff support then she would be aight. Better than a physical since magical options among all the routes is limited. But she would just be aight.
  23. Well if are only focusing on the Min/Max potential of those two kids with those parents then it is more personal preference on Oboro's part. The more important thing that Oboro can pass down to her kids is Extravagance( if user spends a Golden Coin, damage +10 and damage received -10) which you can stack with Line of Death so you end up with a free +20 damage. Now Matoi already has the Samurai line from her dad so she is pretty self contained with Oboro as a mom and could run a set of Extravagance/LoD/Flamboyant/Breaking Sky/Lancefaire. Though a slightly more optimal Matoi would marry Kisagri so she could swap Lancefaire for Bowfaire for her to be better overall as a Golden Kite Warrior(It is better than Falco offensively in PvP). Hinoka leaves Matoi in an awkward position really. With no Extravagance her offense would be behind the other potential people you could deploy for PvP(Only get 5 slots, but Azura takes 1) Though I guess a spread of Flamboyant/Breaking Sky/Bowfaire(Hinoka buddies Setsuna)/Swallow Strike/LoD as a Golden Kite Warrior could work, but you can get better options for offense. She has Falcon Knight so she would always have a support/staff role available though Baki would need to A+ Niles and pass down Move+1 and Matoi would need to marry Dia so she could pick up the Aura skills. She would also need to buddy Sophie for Rescue and would run a spread of Mov+1/Rescue/Battle Command/Demoiselle/Sun God. To her credit, not a lot of people can run that spread, though Hinoka didn't give anything for that Spread. An Oboro!Sophie internally has the problem of lacking LoD, but could run a spread like Extravagance/Diamond Strike/Flamboyant/Lancefair/Breaking Sky. Externally with marriage/buddy seals she would need to marry Hisame for LoD to switch out Diamond Strike or Flamboyant. Internally a Hinoka!Sophie lacks both LoD and Extravagance, so her offense is pretty lacking to what others can get. Externally She would probably need to go the Zerker route and buddy Velour and run Luna(or BS from Shino)/Flamboyant(From Hinoka)/Roundhouse/Axefaire/Open Assault. Could make for a really dope Rally bot though with Rally Def(Hinoka buddies Camilla)/Rally Spd/Rally Skill/Rally Str(Buddy Velour)/Rally Res(Silas buddies Jakob) or Copy Cat if Silas buddies Kaze. I've rambled to long... TL;DR Oboro is better for both offensively, Hinoka is better supportively. Choose how you want to run the kids by focusing on the skills. Skills > Mods
  24. No. There is no same-turn reinforcements on any difficulty on all of the routes.
