    Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious (seriously).

That funny remark from Micaiah is just one more reason why I like Micaiah and Sothe.

It was one of my favorite lines, too. I still laugh at it to this day. I like to imagine Micaiah as having a very dry, sarcastic sense of humor because of it.

  2. I don't really see Micaiah in any romantic relationships with anyone, so my mind automatically converts every one she can possibly have to a platonic one. Especially with Sothe, considering she practically raised him. Had there been a way to keep her A support with Sothe while having a platonic relationship as an ending, I would have been less inclined to delete the support rank. But, eh, what can you do?

However, because that isn't possible, I suppose I would choose Pelleas because I can.

What can I say? The two are very close, their conversations with each other are really good, and who would you then pair Sothe with? Who else does he care about enough?

Duh, Ike. So he and Sothe can raise their children together.

  3. My voting ended up being: Hinata, Naesala, Mozu, Rath, Wolf, Pelleas and Nasir.

Thought I was going to vote Petrine last but Nasir swayed me. I'm happy with my votes at the end of this ballot. And, at least I can comfort myself with thoughts that a couple of my votes have a pretty decent chance of getting in the game at some point -- Pelleas, Rath and maybe Mozu.

Yes, with computers, phones, public devices since the poll don't require an account to participate.

Count me completely shook and slightly salty then.

I would say something about being a fair voter, but I'm not gonna lie and pretend I would not have spammed votes had I known about it earlier.

Forgive me, my precious underdog characters. I have failed you all.

  5. 5th vote went to Wolf because we need more Pony Bows, and I will not stop until IS yields to my demands. Next vote is going to Makalov because, if Oliver can get in due to meme privileges i dont care what anyone says i know that's how he got in, then I'm positive my singular show of support for this typically disliked character will make all the difference.

On a side note, I just realized the only girl character I've voted for is Mozu.

I know that, it would be nice if Nagi, Cecil, Marisha, Malice, Wolf, got into the game. I have been waiting since the game as been announced for Malice to be in.

I'm for certain voting for Wolf one of these days, so you're not alone. I also want to vote for Horace but looking at Zelgius sort of makes up for that a little bit.

I like Tomas.  Yeah, that guy from SD/NM that very few people care about.  Odds of him getting into the game are abysmally low. . .but it won't stop me from trying!

We must keep up the good fight! Our beloved underdogs will have their glory one day even though I had to look up who Tomas was.

I've long since decided to throw my support behind the characters that I love. Makes me feel much better about the results at the end of the day.

  8. Everyone here fighting over popular characters and whatnot, while I'm just here thinking that none of the characters I like are ever going to be chosen for CYL until every other character has been eliminated for being chosen before them. Ah, the woes of loving obscure characters -- my torment never ends.

At any rate, I'm relatively excited for any outcome, regardless of who wins. I will admit, though, that I'm really hoping a character not on the roster wins -- because I'm tired of seeing the same units repeatedly -- but I have a feeling that won't happen. I hope we'll be able to choose one for free again because I have no orbs at this moment in time and probably won't for a long while as I hoard them again.

ok its really hight Time to release a Dragonstone breaker skill IS. This Loli-Dragonsituation just got out of hand...

    Shh...

Not before I make my own loli dragon team first.

EDIT: Well, loli + Adult!Tiki and Ninian dragon team.

  10. Looks like I'm only pulling Myrrh. Or not. I just need to pull another Hector for DC to feed to Fae.

I'm glad for the people that like Eirika but I'm not a fan of this decision to include a special version of her.

EDIT: While a CYL voting is going on at the same time.

  11. Mainly background noise but also to see games I may want to play or purchase but can't.

Only LP'ers I actually watch with full attention is this guy called supergreatfriend as I really enjoy his voice, his dry humor and the more obscure games that he plays; and this girl named ch0colatemilk because her informative walkthroughs are good and her voice is incredibly sweet.

  12. Despite my avatar, Naesala is actually my favorite FE character. I stated this in an older topic, so I'm pretty much just gonna copy what I said before:

"As odd and possibly callous as it sounds, there is something that is absolutely fascinating to me in witnessing the gradual degradation of morals and ethics a person will go though in order to stave off death—in any sense or scale—for just a moment more. It can be likened to a person rummaging through garbage cans just to have something in their stomachs—no one would willingly sift through another's trash, but the will to live forces them to push aside pride, fear and perhaps even common sense to continue onward. In terms of a single ruler loving their people so much that they are willing sacrifice anything and everything to keep them afloat, it strikes me as a story that has potential to be in equal parts politically engaging, terribly tragic and incredibly heartwarming."

This summation is pretty much the reason I love Naesalaand Shura as he displays a similar devotion for his home. What added to this for me was that Naesala was in no obvious way repentant (in the first game) of his actionshe did what he thought he had to do, no matter who he had to screw over; and he was willing to take the heat for it with a calm sneer. That he became this sorry self-deprecating person in the sequel rubbed me the wrong wayI didn't mind that he had deep-seated, hidden feelings of remorse; I just didn't like that he was so blatant about it. There was a way to express his true feelings without sacrificing his confidence and vanity, in my opinion. Despite that, I still love Naesala the most.

As for Hinata, I adore him a lot because I view him as a necessary contrast in Team Takumi. Whereas Oboro and Takumi come across as (rightfully) bitter towards Nohr, Hinata is the complete opposite in that he has no apparent ill-will towards them as a people. I like to think that this played a bigger part in his backstoryas in, he was wronged by Nohr in his past like his teammates but ultimately decided that the actions of a few do not represent the whole, and that he would give any Nohrianas he would any Hoshidana chance. Granted, I doubt whoever created his personality and character thought as deeply as that, but I can't help but think there is a reason as to why Hinatano matter how minimal his character is in comparisonwas put on Team Takumi, considering the personalities of his peers. I'm also quite fond of the details in his designthe unpolished scrapes in his armor and the numerous scars on his skin immediately communicate a part of his personalityand this is something I wish more character designs had in this series.

  13. At this point, we just need one transformation unit outside of dragon for there to be a "gate" of sorts to allow the others to get in. As much as I'm not a fan of the newer beast units, most newer and older fans are familiar with them, which would bring in more votes. I'd probably vote for either Yarne or Selkie on that note. Had Naesala been more popular I'd vote for him - I still might, to be honest, as I know most of the characters I like have less than 1% chance of getting in. Probably an exaggeration but still.

I've had a very disappointing day, in regards to Fire Emblem Heroes. Spent money, broke a 5.25% pity percent, got a 5 star Raven. So to ease my deep, deep sorrow, I decided to send home 12,000 feathers worth of units so that I could finish off my Beruka. Looking at that beautiful +10 eases my aching heart so much.

Beruka feels really underrated but, lately, more and more people have been using her. I saw someone on YT with a +10 Beruka and I was gonna jack their build for her. I already have Fortress Def, Ignis and Guard fodder for her to consume.

  15. Been using other units besides my Horse Emblem team for Infernal GHB. It feels good.

I ended up completing it with:

    • 5*+0 Sothe [+HP -DEF]: Peshkatz / None / Draconic Aura / L&D 3 / Desperation 3 / Spur Atk&Spd 2 / SPD+3
    • 5*+0 Fjorm [Neutral]:  Leiptr / Reposition / Ice Mirror / Atk&Def Bond 3 / Shield Pulse 3 / Drive Atk 2 / Close Counter 2
    • 5*+0 PA!Azura [+ATK -HP]: Urðr / Sing / Moonbow / TA 3 / WoM 3 / Drive Res 3 / HP+5
    • 5*+1 M!Robin [+ATK -RES]: Blárraven+ / Reposition / Bonfire / TA 2 / Lancebreaker 3 / Drive Spd 2 / Distant Counter 2

Took some fiddling around with movement and positioning. Used Sothe to debuff and buff primarily, used Fjorm to tank, Azura to sing and Robin to pick off weakened enemies. Had to basically play hit and run when Oliver and that Green Mage was left. Have to say that Drive skills are becoming my favorites in the game; made a lot of the battle possible.

All in all, it was relatively easy.
