I only ever voted for Joker and Felicia (just because), so I'm content with their rankings. The ranking of the royals is pretty much what I expected. Azura only ranked 5th, thankfully.

Hindsight makes it easy for me to say there are things I could've done better. What I'm doing now, for instance, is something that I probably should've done earlier right after high school. I try not to let myself get bogged down by regrets. Mistakes are learning experiences, and mine shaped who I am today.

Children don't seem to have ranked very high in general. I did not expect to see Kanna that low.

The Nazis under Hitler did bring Germany out of depression and re-established a strong military. Nazi Germany also had a surprisingly strong anti-smoking movement. However, as a military leader, Hitler wasn't that great. As I understand, he frequently clashed with his military leaders, which served only to hinder Germany's war efforts.

Having an Avatar ruins it for me.

Conquest probably could've turned out somewhat better had they not made a trip to the IK, and then follow it up with that silly orb.

I'd recommend waiting for the game to release and for people to get their thoughts sorted out. See what the game plays like, listen to what others have to say about it, and then decide if the game might be for you. With the direction Fire Emblem is going in as a franchise, it just might not be for you anymore. I know I feel similarly after playing Fates myself.

I'm anticipating the wider reaction to the game itself and each of the three routes.

The only thing that made me remotely mad about the new Smash Bros is the music selection. The lack of tracks from the Jugdral games was disheartening.

I confess I was unable to finish a run of Nohr on Hard. I can't get past Chapter 10 on Hard.

They should go with their original ideas from Awakening's development and set the next Fire Emblem on Mars.

I think Genealogy could've gotten away with its plot in a hypothetical US release, considering it's niche appeal and being a SNES game.

Ocarina of Time is my favorite, and it's the first one I played extensively. I also like Twilight Princess on the Gamecube. Majora's Mask is okay, but not my cup of tea anymore; same with Wind Waker. Didn't like Skyward Sword. 2D Zeldas aren't my cup of tea, but Link to the Past and Link's Awakening are good.

Genealogy of the Holy War is my favorite. I also like Thracia and Path of Radiance.

Doesn't sound like much of a book if it's largely about Awakening and Fates. Though I actually would be somewhat interested in Fates. Just to have an idea of what was going through their heads when making that plot.

It'd be nice if they took advantage of the newfound popularity and awareness to translate and release the JP-only Fire Emblems on the Virtual Console. Hey, I can dream, right?

Hard to say. It's a toss-up between Shadow Dragon and Awakening for me.

The gimmicky description applies to its maps, really. Dragon's Vein, ice chipping, moving platforms. In my opinion, the gameplay is not what I would call good. Along with the map design, your roster is not balanced (some of the base stats characters join with are absurdly low given the timeframe), and enemies don't even use Guard Stance at all in the main story chapters.

Chrono Trigger. Dragon Quest V would be a close second, although I played both games on the DS.

I don't like Invisible Kingdom at all, but it's the route I've played the most. So I'll go with that.

Armored Trooper VOTOMS, with Gundam X a close second. I love mecha.

Wyvern Lord, objectively. The design of the Wyvern Lord class in Fates is ugly, but it's her best class.

I'm enjoying it quite a bit so far. Was initially skeptical when the staff was revealed, but pre-release materials got me more optimistic.
