  1. I won't hold back! This is for all the lovely ladies I've yet to meet!: Dammit Sain, you do not have any noteworthy quotes, do you? Made my own version of Sain's mug, now in a Paladin getup! ....Yeah I've got nothing else to say
  2. Smashing Update: Well, after making a personal mug, I made a shitty cosplay of my main in Smash 4, the quality of this mug is an accurate representation of my skill in smash, terrible and unpolished.
  3. Update: After having that splice for an avatar/self-insert mug, now I finally have a full custom one :D Big thanks to squares, eise and teapot for helping out with my initially god awful mug :P P.S.: I did not mean for the hair to be Corn's hair, I wanted to rip off Laslow's hair but it turned into Corn's hair :/
  4. Obligatory Weegee stache to go with the Weegee nose, flipped back to normal to spite Eise.
  5. Mini update: More adjustments to the timing and such: A few changes made thanks to those lovely shitposters spriters in team salvaged
  6. This update was long overdue: I finally got to working on this animation, still very much wip, but here's the normal lance attack animation:
  7. "I brought you that book of paintings you asked about. Shall we look at it together?" Yay completed Siegbert :D
  8. Yay a teaser and an update finally!: Here's a sneak peek of what's to come, haven't shaded it in like the others but hey
  9. I just realised how lazy my entries compared to other people's but whatever, this is my entry :P
  10. Sorry, but I'm not doing edits :( Because 1) I'm very tired from school and shit 2) holy cow there are a lot of sprites 3) just generally being lazy :P anyways, you're steadily improving, that's for sure, but there are a few prominent issues with the sprites: -They are very disproportionate, some are taller, some are stubby and shorter -Limbs and body parts are very off, again, try working off of the vanilla sprites (adding features, editing them just small modifications instead of major edits -The shading looks ok......if it isn't GBAFE battlesprite style shading, like mentioned before, the light source for battlesprite shading is not at all consistent, but they generally come from the right, top right and top left slightly -More details on the limbs: -The arms are literally noodles, think of the joints, the elbows, the shoulders etc, the fingers aren't really noticeable for a majority of the sprites unless they open their hands wide -As for the legs, don't keep trying to make them go straight down, even when you sprite the legs to be diagonal, you keep popping them downwards almost instantly after, thus, me referring them to "lego minifigure legs" As a general summary, references, references and more references, if you're trying to make battlesprites GBAFE style, I'll be blunt, it's not really working, you've got designs and stuff down decently, you just need to learn more about the actual style first, but keep at it tho, you've definitely improved. Extra little list and things: -Limbs -Shading -Proportions
  11. Made minor edits to the main man of FE:
  12. Oh wow, there is a lot of dust here, *blows dust* cough, cough, ack Anyway, here's an update: "Fate has brought us here!": Since I made a Sm4sh Roy mug, might as well make Marth too, but it's also Fates!Marth while also being Sm4sh!Marth but hey :/ It's not good, since there are a lot of issues there, but it is what it is for now
  13. 0 outta 10 not shirtless Dieck... In all seriousness though, sick new sprites, I like that notMerlinus portrait, 11/10 originality :D Sad Roy just looks like he's avoiding an awkward conversation, like: "Oh...ummm....yeahh.....about that...."
  14. *ahem* Don't mind me.... Aaaaanyway, that megaman sprite looks....cute? Never played those Megaman games before so idk :/ I'm gonna just...go~ >.>
  15. (Insert quote for the portrait here) I made something, don't really have much time to make something better so this is what I got :/
  16. No edits but here are a few points I noticed (Warning, wall of text, separated a lot for convenience of reading, because I know how hard it is to read an entire essay to be thrown to you): -The feet after the second frame seems very off -Once again, you've defaulted back to your cartoon-ish style for the legs -I believe the correct term for the feel issue, is that it lacks...depth, I suppose, the shading on the boots seem plastered on and doesn't seem to be contributing to having the boots look like a solid object, if that makes sense -From the 3rd frame onwards, he turned into a lego mini figure, short and stubby, he also gets shorter as the frames go on -Good job on the lance's angles and stuff though, as someone who struggles terribly with weapon angles, it looks pretty ok to me -The shield retains the same shape and angle throughout all the frames which doesn't make sense since he's turning, I believe -The term "less is more" is taken to a whole new level, the armor, pants and boots severely lack detailing and shading, try adding more shading and detailing and stuff -The hair is...very flat when it comes to colours, I did say you only really need 2 colours, but that sprite's hair is very banded (shaded along the outline) and the darker shade blends in too much with the outline, making it not so noticeable, instead of a shaded hair colour, it can be seen as a thick outline -The eye is not visible at all really, try moving the hair away from the eye, the face is also very oddly shaded -His right leg in the last and second to last frames seem completely detached from the body And once again, I'll be quoting the great Pandawan: Also: The most any of the heads in FE sprites shift is very slightly, they don't turn as much, but this isn't much of an issue in your sprite, just a nit pick, mostly The heads are getting better though, just keep at it, I will still suggest sticking to modifying vanilla sprites until you can grasp the style, but don't let me tell you what to do, everybody learns their own way, I'm just suggesting the way I learned the style, which is through modifying and editing the vanilla sprites until I understood: How the animations flow, How the limbs look, How the shading generally is, etc You've improved a bit, but the lego-ness of your battle sprites are still apparent, try using frames from other sprites as reference if they have a similar pose
  17. Working on another animation (probably): Suddenly felt the urge to sprite this, a....soldier class...of some kind? I'm not sure :/ it uses lances and swords, for now anyway, I may add axes and bows later but...eh But yeah, a looot of school work for me to deal with for these few months so these updates may be few and far between (that or I may just have died or something but who knows?)
  18. I made some edits of the sprite, not professional level edits, but hey: Marked some points of interest: Red- The head looks small, and the white pixels don't work as a 3rd shade for a grey-ish coloured hair - You don't always need 3 shades for the hair, 2 pixels can work fine most of the time Yellow- The far hand just looked a bit big to me, the close hand is ok I guess Green- Nothing notable in particular, the scarf bit just bothered me a tad Purple- The torso looked a bit big to me, maybe it's just me Blue- The feet are....odd, the far foot is literally a block of solid colour, the close foot is slightly misshapen and shaded....not-so FE, if that makes sense Those are just notable things, here's more detailed stuff and things: -As the great PandaWan said: You should really reference the vanilla FE sprites for: -How the limbs/arms/feet look -How the heads look etc. Your sprites all have very...."Lego"-like feet -Try using colours that you can use in more than one use....if that makes sense....it can help preserve colour slots for other colours you can use for other details, like how the vanilla sprites use the skin colours for the golden trims -You could conserve colours for the shirt/shoe colours by sharing a few colours here and there, I'm not very good at it myself but you'd figure it out yourself....eventually....maybe -Look up any vanilla sprites that looks similar to the sprite you're making, like the Sage sprite if you're making a magic using sprite, or the Fighter sprite if you're making a buff Axe using class etc.
  19. Update: [spoiler=Fates Spoiler or something I guess :/ maybe it is, maybe it's not, I'm not really sure] "When next we meet...it will be as enemies. Promise me you will return. I've put my faith in you. No matter what the cruel fates have in store... I trust you to return here. I trust you to end my suffering." So yeah, made Mr. Anankos, there he is....I guess :/ [spoiler=More spoilers (Specifically Hidden Truths), spoiler warning for spoilers in a spoiler with a spoiler warning wow, spoiler-ception]He's totally not your father in Fates or anything, not at all
  20. Haven't updated this gallery in a while :/ So here, have more derpis, I guess, working on other stuff and school work and stuff
  21. "I hereby dub thee...Derpis (Derp+Chibis)!" So this is a style of sprites that I made initially for shits and giggles, but I ended up liking it more and more so....here, all the FE lords (that I know of) in this style :P Also, I wouldn't call myself "dedicated" tbh, especially when compared to most other spriters in Serenes, also, regarding the chat group, it's team Salvaged btw, 90% of my time on there is just banter while 10% is actual spriting, so there's that :/
  22. "Lookie what we have here?" My entry I guess....umm...yeah... The jewellery is the earring and the necklace, not sure if the golden trim on the pauldrons count but eh :P
  23. "I make my own Fate!" Made the Yato, yeah...moving on
  24. "Anything can change!" Crumb is back!!1!1 So I made a full custom Chrom....yay? Now if only I'll remake Robin...
