  1. Exactly. Certain people can be incited just by the presence of police due to the lack of trust between one party regarding another (warranted or not)
  2. Cops being on the street trying to prevent crime could cause this kid to act delinquent as well. I'm just saying it isn't like the cops are trying to take a break from "whatever stopping real crimes" entails
  3. I didn't check the article, but you could easily make an argument that by embarrassing this kid you are preventing crime down the line, so you can't real argue that this is a waste of the police's time
  4. I mean, to be fair she did say they were HER Steelers. She must be a part-owner of the team, which gives her every right to ignore stats
  5. Lol Ana you're acting like you haven't mentioned the Steelers' INCREDIBLE OFFENSIVE SUPERIORITY at every opportunity ;) Besides, the Steelers not only got outscored by the Patriots (who didn't have the luxury of playing the cupcakes of the NFC South) but they didn't even put up close to 500 PF. The Patriots have done that like 4 times in the past decade. Chump offense imo
  6. The new title of this thread is accurate. I didn't follow the draft too closely this year but Bill made some very questionable calls. The fact that a CB wasn't drafted until the 7th round is pretty ridiculous. I'm pumped to see the Pats defense of a few years ago that allowed mediocre QBs to throw for 350 yards each week
  7. Looks like I was right about Leonard Williams. I doubt John Fox lets Chicago pass on him at #7 I'm a little surprised he was taken by the Jets, but I'm sure Todd Bowles couldn't pass on his versatility
  8. Espi's Hugh levels have been pretty ridiculous. I don't recall one that didn't involve at least MAG and SPD. Vanilla (max payment/stats) Hugh arrives at level 15 and has -5 MAG and -4 SPD compared to this playthrough's Hugh.
  9. Didn't watch the video but Brendor is correct. Let's be real, there are plenty of groups that exist in the real world that condone violence from men toward women (and almost require it, it seems.) Also a bit off-topic but the title of this thread is probably my favorite thing ever
  10. Definitely wait on Hugh, he's already quite beast. Also Karel is starting to look downright competent :o
  11. Hard to believe the draft is FINALLY here in just over 24 hours. CHRISTMAS CAME EARLY MA FUCKAS Can't wait for the Pats to trade out of round 1 so I have to wait another day to see who gets selected EDIT: Here are my crazy draft predictions -Leonard Williams falls out of the top 5 picks -Todd Gurley is taken in the top 10 -Kevin White is the first WR off the board (c'mon Raiders, don't fail me now...) -Chip Kelly packages himself in a deal to trade up for Mariota (let's be real, anything is possible with Chip) -The 3rd QB selected will be taken at #32 overall
  12. The NFL seems to have this obsession with stacking division games at the end of the season. I suppose they're all banking on having playoff-esque games during Week 16-17 in divisions where the teams are close. I can see it happening in a lot of divisions. Hell, I just took a look at Week 17. They're ALL division games
  13. Even Lalum can take a hit if necessary (which probably isn't often at 63 avoid.) I don't know much about FE6 enemies but 32 attack seems like a lot to reach for the OHKO. Elphin is going to laugh at enemies the rest of this run. That Karel level was great also. The kid could be somebody one day
  14. Geriatric Peyton isn't scary anymore The Pats drew the ideal opening night matchup against the Steelers and dynamic Deangelo Williams in the backfield
  15. Isn't Snowy still looking for his dream girl/waifu? Reading through this thread it seems like him and Kirara would be a perfect match
  16. I agree that bosses are more difficult in this game. Sure, having the dancers try to dodge many attacks is unreliable. However, the run will operate completely differently in that you couldn't normally use your dancing unit(s) as bait with decent bulk and exceptional avoid compared to the rest of the team. Having these dancing units able to perform their invaluable function of dancing and also being able to draw out enemies for other units to attack makes them incredibly powerful in the context of this playthrough. Again, it's not like levelling up these units is somehow illegal. But having these units that can take a hit or two will allow for feeding of kills to other units and is therefore most optimal for an LTC playthrough (which this is,) so why not go for it?
  17. It just seems like an incredibly easy way for you to draw out enemies due to ease of "engineering" enemies missing
  18. I don't know how FE6 AI works regarding enemy attack priority, but if enemies prioritize attacks that can't be countered, won't that mean you can just dodge tank the rest of the run with the dancers and their ability to move anywhere? IMO that sort of trivializes the run; though if I'm being honest there's no way I wouldn't immediately dance both dancers to 20/-- if I played a game with 2 of them.
  19. I like how Dory is harder than any boss in FE7/8 EDIT: Also isn't dropping Karel anywhere with enemies usually instant death for him anyway?
  20. He probably is. Still, considering he has to seize in every chapter, the advantages of having a Karel that can take a hit or fight back are very real. Honestly I'm surprised Espinosa hasn't "rigged" +2 speed on each level up (I use quotations because his growth is like 140, which is a decent amount less of rigging than other LTC runs)
  21. Karel level ups excite me greatly. I'm already giddy for the next one
  22. I think it's fair to assume he's not saying interceptions are always the WR's fault. Hakeem Nicks sucks donkey balls now
