  1. Reports have been optimistic but it would seem more likely that Large Benjamin is going to sit out this game. If I were you I'd be praying to see Manziel under center on Sunday
  2. Tough game for the Steelers. If it's any consolation, the Patriots had several key injuries today
  3. I think the team lost all claims to any in-season miracles once they hired Rex Ryan
  4. The man has a point. Jacoby was absolutely horrible in San Diego. I think he averaged negative yards on punt returns he managed to return this season. Like you said, we shall just see. I guess I appreciate what he did by burning Rahim Moore and preventing Peyton from potentially winning a 2nd ring. I've come to terms with the fact that Flacco is allowed to win one Super Bowl in his career
  5. It's pretty pleasing to see the Colts struggle as hard as they are. A lot of that has to do with Luck, who was awful in the 2 quarters I watched last night. The AFC South is the new NFC South apparently. I'm hoping the Jags win that shit division
  6. lol Burfict is a scumbag, without a doubt. "Testing ankle flexion" is the dumbest shit I've come up with since I began posting in these threads
  7. I agree with him with him to an extent as well. But why not just talk to your sons about how you feel instead of taking away the trophies? Seems like an unnecessarily dick move to pull on your kids. Then he went and gloated on social media about it which is a classic dirtbag move always
  8. James Harrison is definitely dirtier than Burfict. All Burfict wanted to do last season was test the ankle flexion of a few high profile NFL players. What's so wrong with that? Meanwhile, Harrison took away his own sons' trophies and posted a rant about it on Instagram. That's some low brow shit right there
  9. Tough to see Steve Smith go down like that. I'm now convinced he'll be back next season
  10. I'm gonna be honest, I'm pretty shocked that the Patriots have the worst T and CB depth in the entire NFL right now and have still emerged as the team to beat in the AFC. The defense has improved tremendously; the front seven has been especially impressive, as well as the play from 3 different players who play safety (Chung, Harmon, and McCourty.) Health is never a given in this league but if Brady/Gronk stay healthy and no more tackles or corners go down, I smell a repeat.
  11. Have you watched Mallett at all this season? On the field he's been dreadful, off the field he's been an even bigger wreck (somehow.) Their QB situation is absolutely fucked this year, but they don't lose anything of note by releasing him
  12. I find it impossible to believe that the Ravens didn't report their player as eligible on an unbalanced line play lol They showed the replay and the ref totally fucked it up. Classic refs
  13. Lol thanks for the chuckle, Ana. I'm 100% for holding grudges because of silly things like that. Also my hatred tier list has no teams. I hate all non-Patriots teams equally* *lol jk fuq da Ravens, Giants, Pey-Pey (though it's hard to hate him this season,) Colts, Mike Tomlin, Marshall Faulk, etc. EDIT: normally I think QB wins is a silly stat, but how about this one: Tom Brady is now 7-0 in his career against teams that rank #1 in scoring defense and total defense week 7 or later
  14. At first I liked the hiring of Rex Ryan. But he and the Bills have been a huge disappointment this year and it all starts with him. Ana, why are the Chiefs your most hated team? EDIT: this SD-OAK game is pretty shocking. Who would have thought that the Chargers' offense would look like such garbage?
  15. This Pats-Jets game is absolutely brutal. Pats receivers have dropped 10 pounds passes through 3 quarters. Oh, and Patriots cannot buy a 3rd down stop on defense, just like the good ol' days pre Talib and Revis.
  16. Well, stick a fork in the Bills. Rich Gannon raises a terrific point though: why the balls is Greg Roman calling plays that roll EJ Manuel to the left in the most high leverage situations? Does he understand anything about basic body mechanics? It's baffling to me that you would want your struggling QB to throw across his body when the game is on the line.
  17. Yes, had been injured. He's over 120 yards from scrimmage today and Gerhart/Alualu have been getting shit on when they touch the ball
  18. Whoever is calling plays for the Jags should be shot for not giving Yeldon as many carries as he can handle EDIT: What an insane play. This game has really been something
  19. If there's any team in the AFC to give up a 14 point lead, it's Jacksonville. Though I'm a little surprised at how effective TJ Yeldon has been up to this point... and of course he's sitting on my bench in one of my leagues.
  20. I'm pretty salty that I can't watch Pats/Jets on TV this afternoon. It's the only freaking game with two teams that have winning records... you'd think it would get moved to 4 or something
  21. The Jets match up quite well with the Pats imo. Chris Ivory looks like the best back in the league, the secondary is experienced, and the interior DLine has the ability to dominate the Patriots' rookie interior OLine. It'll be an interesting game without a doubt
  22. He got a ring in 2004 as a rookie (played one game.) I have no idea how the Saints' offense can run through him and they still win
