Twitter is honestly just as bad. Just full of people who are STILL crying about the "censorship", and the dual audio, along with more complaints about "just how awful the dubs are". I'm actually hoping the people who say they've canceled their SE pre-orders are serious, and maybe if I ask I can get lucky when I go to Gamestop next week.

You're assuming that there's an "extra mile" to be had in this case. At this point I highly doubt that NoA "didn't try hard enough" and that NoE supposedly cares more. Seems more like the agencies representing VALSHE and Renkah simply don't want their work outside of Japan.

I'm not watching the stream right now, but as I'm going to be playing Conquest first I'm curious: Any noticeable character rewrites?

NoA will probably continue getting blamed until they themselves give the reason. I'm just assuming that most people are extra salty, because they had plenty of time to come out and say that there wouldn't be dual audio.

So I just went back and played a bit of Awakening, and comparing the voices to what I heard from the stream, it feels like the Awakening VAs did a vastly superior job. Bit disappointed

It's not a dealbreaker at all for me personally, I'm just a bit disappointed that the option wasn't there. I don't hate dubs at all, nor do I think that subs are inherently superior, I just feel like Japanese VAs convey more emotion and put more effort in. Just my opinion.

Didn't know that if you preferred Japanese audio over English, that automatically makes you a weeb. Huh, you learn something new every day.

I just wish I didn't already know what the Japanese voices sounded lile, because now going to be subconsciously comparing them.

I'm curious, what with all the speculation of what's in, out, changed etc. Does Nintendo have like a set date like a week before release, or is it all random?

I think it'd be a fun thing to do. Scheduling the time to do it would be something else though, hopefully EU gets their release not long after NA.

Assuming it's this week, I definitely won't have a chance at getting one. This is my busiest week this month
