I really want Revelation, but I'd rather not buy another $10 card, and there's also new DLC. I already own Birthright. What do? EDIT: POLL CLOSED Final decision was made, I'm buying Map Pack 1 now, and waiting until Monday to reload my prepaid card and buy Revelation.

Expect the best, prepare for the worst. Just because Roy's an FE character doesn't mean he'll be compatible with Fates. Corrin is getting an Amiibo, but I doubt he'll be compatible either.

Are you playing Revelations? Because I'm near endgame in Birthright and I only have 50 units including Einherjar. Every time I try to recruit a new Einherjar from another castle I have to delete a "generic placeholder" to make room for them. I think Rescue staves are a Hoshidoan exclusive. You can get them by visiting other people's castles who have Birthright or, I assume, Revelation.

If we're still going with Sponge Emblem, I have an idea but I can't make it work for myself. The episode of Spongebob with "Krab-Borg." Remember the scene where Krabs gets doused in tartar sauce and has to fight off the giant hand with a fry? Replace that with Ryoma, and maybe a sound file of him saying "For the glory of Hoshido!" Let me know if this has already been done though.

I gave my Hinata the Blacksmith class, and tbh I think it just looks weird. Good bonuses, and a somewhat powerful unit, but he's just not aesthetically pleasing as a Blacksmith. Edit: Give him Swordmaster until he gets Darting Blow, then reclass to Master of Arms.

Nohr Noble is for if you want a purely attack-based unit, Hoshido Noble is for a healing attacker. I went with Hoshido Noble because I needed a healer.

I went with Mag+/Spd- for my Dark Knight (Mage) M!Corn and Lck+/Spd- for my Malig Knight (Dragon) F!Corn.

The thread will be updated from time to time, to provide the most up-to-date information. So far, confirmed working Amiibos for Fire Emblem Fates are Ike (Vanguard) Lucina (Great Lord) Robin (Tactician) Marth (Lodestar) The upcoming Roy Amiibo is unconfirmed so far, but likely compatible. The Corrin Amiibo, currently in development, is unconfirmed so far but not so likely, due to the gender neutrality of the character. But who knows? They let Robin in. Only Fire Emblem character Amiibos are compatible with Fire Emblem Fates. (Sorry Shulk fans) Characters gained from completion of the Amiibo-accessible Hero Battles cannot gain support levels with any characters, Amiibo or not. They can still use the Pair Up option, but no support is gained. Hero Battles are unlocked after scanning Amiibo figures three times, but you must complete a battle in between each before scanning again. On the first two scans, the Amiibo character will give you one of its respective accessories, then go to work at either the Armory or the Accessory Shop. Upon the third scan, the character will challenge you to a battle. A map location called "(Amiibo's name) Hero Battle" will be unlocked until you challenge the location. If you lose, you will have to rescan to challenge them again. Upon completion of the Hero Battle, you will gain a unit based on the Amiibo character. From each scan onward, they will be sent to work at either the Armory or the Accessory Shop, where you can purchase either their Mock Weapon or Accessory, respectively. Each Amiibo character fights with their signature weapon. Ike uses Ragnell and has a proficiency in swords and axes. Lucina uses Falchion from FE:A and has a proficiency in swords. Robin uses Levin Sword Thoron and has a proficiency in swords and tomes/scrolls. Marth uses the Falchion from FE:SD and has a proficiency in swords. If and when Roy is compatible with Fates, he will use the Sword of Seals. EDIT: There was already a thread about this stuff. It's somewhere in the comments, if you'd rather go there. I was dumb, didn't realize it existed until it was brought to my attention.

First of all, how do you get the Levin Sword? I thought it couldn't be an enemy drop. ... You ARE playing Birthright, correct? Is it available in Birthright?

Ike seems to appear only in the Armory for me. I've never actually seen him in the Accessory Shop. Besides his Pauldron, what's his other accessory?
