  1. The actual body is doing well, it's just the arms not caring. And yeah "hackbox-esque"
  2. ALright I am pretty much happy with this dear people who haven't finished yet I don't even face sprite and I finished before the original deadline even after entering incredibly late what is your excuse love yeti
  3. This took maybe two hours including the time creating the enemy range graphic, why didn't I do this earlier EDIT Also staves
  4. Pretty much entirely made because I had a summer contest idea
  5. I was thinking you could make a new class for it and just give it the tent map sprite. I don't know what that would entail to make it functionally pretty (making it not selectable would probably be desired), but at least it wouldn't interfere with any actual merchants if you wanted one.
  6. Given how often people use "IS did this, so what is the problem" as a defense of face sprites, maps, chapter gameplay idea, etc and are then told off for accepting IS's work as perfect when it's often (very often) not, this seems hypocritical. This sounds like not just a much better idea, but an amazing idea? Add in a tent unit that's just holding all the items you need (unless you need to buy more than 5, and why would a situation where you are required to buy more than 5 items exist), give it no death quote, maybe create a generic portrait styled tent drawing for the portrait.

    FE Recolor

It reads the colors as is from the image and stores them separately as an indexed image, so if you had multiple reds it would group them all together as one color. However if you started out with them not all the same red they would be separate, and then in the palette you create you could make different colors set to the same value

    FE Recolor

A recoloring tool set up to be used alongside hacking?

    FE Recolor

[Jul 7 '18]: Updated with a newer version, with a much easier to understand UI and better performance. PM me on discord or something if there are bugs. A program I put together over the past week that makes it easier to recolor FE sprites/try out different palettes, and also easy to generate color data for inserting into GBA hacks or using with FEXP if you use that for some reason There are about a dozen several dozen battle sprites included with set up palette data so you can see how the program works, and eventually I'll add the rest of the GBA FE battle sprites (at least the generic classes), or you can load any of your own images, or even easily paste in an image you have copied The program will work properly with more than 16 colors if you wish (up to 256), but I don't believe there are any situations where that would actually work in GBA FE so if you're using it for hacks it is not advised FE Recolor download --- (old version) You'll need .NET Framework 4 to run it, if the program doesn't work you probably need to download that: .NET Framework And if you need a program to view the palettes in your rom or insert the new ones you made, this one is compatible with FE Recolor Or over here you can find the rest of the GBAFE sprites, like monsters and bosses (as far as I can see there is no board here for hacking tools so I am posting this topic here, dealwithit?)
  10. No I mean how fast the whole crit is. The normal attack he hangs out in the air for a good while and has a moderately paced return, the crit it's just bam bam and back to stance. It lacks the impact since there's no anticipation? Plus you probably want to be consistent with IS FE animations Something like the Paladin is a good example, posing and such at the start, the accelerating galloping to build anticipation for the hit, and then no blur on the actual attack, it just cuts to the hit frame. That's how you do a fast hit. The Mage Knight is a great example of a crit that's completely different from the regular attack (though it's a magic attack so using as reference in this case doesn't work), and the crit still takes longer.
  11. Crit that's faster than normal attack wut wut
  12. They're rendered 3D models. Originally made in 3D, and then they generated 2D images of every frame to put ingame, so you can still get those images.
  13. Go teamwork? This started as one of my stickmans, then Sploder took over for the spritework, and I finished up adding the effects and doing some finalizing. And a crit wip to go with it
  14. > actual wyverns in Elibe all of the rage
  15. I want to see a game that works like this
  16. Chance is so incredibly generic looking And at the same time so cool that I don't even care o:
  17. A more pressing matter I think is his dialogue in the screen you posted. Regardless of age, I wouldn't expect such an outburst, but more coldness/stunted emotions from having such a terrible life so far. And the supports would have a lot of potential.
  18. Could you stop asking people this? The vast majority of your posts in sprite topics across multiple boards have been asking to use whatever thing the spriter just made for your hack, and it's hard to find topics you haven't yet. It's long since become annoying, and just makes you look desperate and unprofessional.
  19. whee Priority is on map sprites now I guess, since Tr3 can be playable without animations but you need map sprites to tell what's what whoo Justice Also going to just start posting animation plans, rarely have anything to post otherwise Justice for best class. All the crit, all the Res, actual Con scores Changed a lot from my original Zweihander idea years ago > fixing things
  20. No that's what Savior does, same as GCN FE. Cover is the sub-ability of Savior that allows moving onto units to rescue them, instead of pulling them into your tile. Kind of both, I keep improving it but there's only so much I can do
