I can't believe my favourite Pokemon is a shrimp! I also can't believe Shrimpy is fucking dead. 'Alas'? Yes, I know there's the 'no more Shrimpy' part that you're responding to but... how may deaths would an anime-free world be worth? -- Speaking of 'how much death would X be worth', I finished the Revolutions podcast. All approximately eight days of total runtime, according to the author. I went into it pretty ignorant about the Mexican revolution and now I think that Emiliano Zapata is the greatest revolutionary of all time. Not in terms of the magnitude of what he eventually accomplished (I think it's tough to get past Lenin there), but the guy had a noble cause and he stuck with it instead of being seduced by the prospect of greater personal power, which I'd say was a rare feat in the protagonists of the series. The revolution that I was the most invested in definitely was the Haitian - it's easily the most "justified" of them all. Liberal revolutionaries everywhere loved to talk how they will not be slaves to {insert monarch here}, but the Haitians were the only actual slaves overthrowing their masters. Also, fuck the French for pressing reparations out of Haiti for 'lost property' (including, y'know, human property) even after Haiti won their war of independance. It's also a rather interesting piece of information that Haiti supported Simón Bolívar while the US were too worried about their diplomatic relations to the European powers to get involved. Beacon of liberty my arse. @GuardianSing- have you listened through the entire thing already, too?

Leafstone aquired (...last saturday, because Pokeathlon only gives them out once per week...), glad that I won't have to tap and flick anymore. I get that the Pokemon games want to convey that there's more to those critters than just fighting, but I still don't particularly like minigames in general. It's me! (from @Eltosian Kadath's TeeHeeLocke) Eusine being unfaithful to his main legendary Pokemon, tsk tsk _ Chuck only has two Pokemon, but they hit pretty darn hard. I think my team might be at their worst right now: Most of them haven't gotten to their final evolution yet (and the one exception, Ivy, only has two 40-power moves until she learns Petal Dance at Lv. 53....), so because I made the randomiser force-evolve every opponent's Pokemon once they reach Lv.30, I'm at a constant disadvantage for a while. Next stop: Jasmine. Let's see what she's got.

I'd be pretty upset if the mods were fine with people posting M🤮ngs videos, but not if somebody pointed out that M🤮ngs is a sexual predator. If that were the case, they would actively help people advertise his videos free from the rather important context that M🤮ngs is a sexual predator.

If we stretch the definition a bit - maybe Lyn is a candidate for the older games. Not for her role in the narration, I don't think she's particularly disliked in that regard, but there isn't really a concensus on how good she is in gameplay. Of course, there's also people who think Rebecca is amazing and Marcus is kinda bad, but in general, I think most people will agree on how they perform. For Lyn, on the other hand, you'll find reasonable arguments for both her being quite good and quite bad. Part of that might be Lyn Mode changing her performance in the main campaign quite a lot.

The randomiser makes it so that you swap most of your team between any two fights, so I now have the head canon that you put their Pokeballs under the steam hammer because they had, like, a mild flu.
