In Path of Radiance Rolf seemed like he'd be the crybaby of the group that nobody would like. Even Mist had to tell him not to cry. But as the story progressed and you read some of his supports, you clearly see his development and maybe even respect him for bravery and determination. Then Radiant Dawn comes and the first words from his three years older mouth are "I'm nervous. What if I hit her?" in that incredibly childish voice. It bugged me for a while and I think I'm ready to share my thesis with you all... Mist castrated Rolf when she left him for Boyd. Agree or disagree?

A while ago I was taking to my friend about the things that happen in RD since he neither has nor intends to get a Wii. And once I told him about Mist marrying Boyd, all he said was, "Yeah, I guessed so." And I for one had no clue that would happen. I thought if anyone she'd end up with Rolf. And then he tells me, "It was kind of obvious." So I just wanna know if it seemed obvious to anyone else?
