  1. Really? Begs the question of what the heck A.T. was on about in that interview then I wonder if like the literal god of destruction might just have some kind of provincial authority over the triforce of power, such that they could just revoke it if someone they didn't like got it, like "whoa, who gave it to THAT guy? Let's just have that back shall we *yoink*"On the other hand maybe if the guy is a bad enough dude like Ganondorf they could just be like "no"
  2. I've heard a story that A.T. originally appended the Z to Dragonball to indicate, like, "this is the end, guys," but then, because of a writing style could only be described as "slapdash" (paraphrase of supposed actual quote: "Even I don't know what's going to happen on the next page as I draw!")... it wasn't I suppose it is fitting, though, that the characters finally become literal gods, as in a D&D campaign which the players loved too much to end just because the base materials provided no further levels, being forced to draw their foes from things like "the fabric of reality itself"
  3. Okay, prostatitis, maybe we could just find a way to work this out peacefu-uuuuurrrrrrrrrgggjhhh

  4. Truly awful, have had friends who couldn't read it. Even I occasionally have to stare at it for a sec
  5. I want to make a thing in which the DSM or a like tome/thing could be used as a sort of summoning/channeling tool, something that could give the wielder abilities similar to an empath's, maybe let them engage people's demons (both figuratively and maybe kinda literally), perhaps at the price of exposing themselves to them. Like trying to somehow... deal with somebody's schizophrenia, anxiety and so on while getting blasted with false/overactive sensory feedback and other stuff. So, maybe something like that
  6. fuck this prostatitis, I'm gonna update Dragon Pass this weekend even if it puts me to sleep repeatedly. I mean even if it kills me

  7. Oh yeah, I've heard King of Fighters is more popular than Street Fighter in central and south America, whereas if anything it may only be more recently that KOF has started to get even a modicum of name recognition up north. Not to expect somebody who's not big into fighting games to know all the minutiae, but if you have any relations who do play them in Argentina, do you know what they play most? (Also whether you've seen one or the other advertised more or anything)
  8. Particularly @ the second paragraph (apologies for being so presumptive as to even attempt answering questions about somebody else during their own interview, double gomen): believe it or not, it is a (not actually very) hugely guarded secret that stoly is, in fact, a big ol pile o' feels, surprisingly empathetic, and is perhaps not even entirely dissimilar from the kind of guy he makes fun of the most
  9. Euklyd is positing not that going to the future would change the present,* but that Shin would somehow invoke the butterfly effect after coming back to the present, such that the lottery results he found in the future he traveled to would be different from the ones in the timeline in which he simply waits. *Although! One could argue that travelling to the future could create some hijinks because one would suddenly vanish from that baseline present, and everything only gets more potentially complicated from there. I might save the thing for a bad day, or I might go back to senior year in high school and do some relatively simple things (like giving myself a hint about how fucking awful going cold turkey off one's psychotropic meds without telling anybody generally goes, for one) to lightly tip it in the direction of "not turning out so goddamn awful"
  10. You got into Mingus!!! Yeahhhhhh boyyyyyy also good+intelligible answer ftr
  11. 4. Like what is the worst thing to have to hear nerds talk about endlessly
  12. 1. How much do I suck 2. Are you in a better place now than a year ago 3. What did you sound like when you had the nickname shtoa 4. What is the worst game/general conversation topic to take up pages of chat talking about when it's barely a two-person exchange 5. Which is better (semantics); cute or handsome?
  13. I'd like to figure out a way to make a compelling interactive exploration of mental and psychological illness, something that could both be an educational tool (in the sense that Civilization could be seen as one, moreso than "edutainment") while also maintaining good game design. Like, one idea that stuck in my mind was a game putting the player in the role of a suicide prevention officer (mechanics, uh, to be developed). Making that into something that people would like to "play," a "good game," while also not just giving proper weight to the subject matter but trying to contribute something of value to how the issues are seen... On one hand I feel like the whole idea is full of holes, but I've also been shown games like Tropico can somehow make, say, "helping drag people out of crippling poverty" into not just a functioning but a fun game. (This is roughly where knowledge of the craft meets "is this even possible?" I suppose) 551: Got a ton of folks in Canada, pretty easy pickings in my case
  14. -Whatall multiplayer games are you on most? -Got any recommendations for somebody totally new to incompetent at the RTS classique genre to acclimate? -Any favorite Ye Olde CRPGs? (Like, Bioware-era, if not necessarily Bioware) -[same as 2 but with games where giant robots destroy other robots]? (Mechwarrior etc) -Homeschooling: cool IYO?
  15. Better than we can usually hope for, anyway. Jeez
  16. My favorite skill-ending is MagicxHistory, where Elodie solves magical global warming or something Also I need to go back and check out the content they added free (!!) In a patch some months ago. Hopefully it'll all be on the wiki for me now cough cough I mean what
  17. It's on wikipedia. "Radical" can often reference "calling for structural reform." And I might suppose that to an extent really sticking to the line "shut the fuck up, get together and do something at (almost) all costs" to right and left can be seen as a kind of radical. (like, maybe if the "least bad option" for compromise is something nobody actually wants) First thing that came to mind after just seeing the most basic headline-grabbing article titles: Do people know how big voter turnout was? A Conservative majority seems, well. Not that I know UK politics very well, but a little "what the aich"
  18. I had a Latin professor who was kind of a big old Romanophile. The one way in which he was most certainly not, however, was their alphabet- he said even the Romans made fun of their own handwriting extensively and cribbed most of their somethinglikehigh culture from the Greeks to boot, but anyway I don't know a lick about them, but Sanskrit and Arabic look really pretty to me. There's something about Cyrillic that makes me think... I dunno, "tough?" Like it looks really cramped for vowels. If ever there was an alphabet that I could say I think looks like it could kick my ass, it would probably be Cyrillic. I can, uh, respect that. Yeah
  19. Or rather there's now a wasp where there was a hornet. I don't know anymore
  20. UPDATE: it turns out that the wasp has in fact NOT been disposed of, repeat, wasp is STILL LOOSE. Momentarily trapped behind window blinds, because it's a fucking idiot, but alive and buzzing nonethless. I slept in a house which contained a live was last night. This has gone just about far enough, thank you. It's time to pick up some spray and reclaim my life
