  1. I completed Navarre lunatic with a 4* neutral Kagero with inherited reciprocal aid, Ninian, and Ephraim with swordbreaker. The last unit was a level 1 F!robin that did nothing. Kagero kills the first thief from the trees, rec aids Ninian to restore HP, then kills the next thief, both by baiting on enemy phase. Ephraim then moves in and kills Navarre, while Kagero kills the axe guy. Healer then dies to anyone. Ephraim can be replaced by any lance user that has swordbreaker. Ninian doesn't see combat and can thus be replaced by Olivia as well. For Navarre vs himself, take off swordbreaker, which should leave the enemy Navarre with low enough Hp to be finished off.
  2. Important PSA: for the kill Robin with Navarre and vice versa quests (the ones without level requirements), you can complete those on the story missions instead. Just play 4-4 or 4-5 for F!Robin and 5-1 for Navarre on normal.
  3. Team is Ninian (+Atk -Res) Lilina (+Spd -Res) Ephraim (+Spd -Res) and a bonus unit, currently Alm (+Spd -Res) (don't ask me how I got those IVs, it just happens) Biggest threat is Reinhardt, but only when combined with a Dancer or Horse Emblem. On his own, he runs ahead and gets doubled and ORKOd by everyone on the team, even Lilina, as long as I attack on player phase. With a Dancer though, he becomes unpredictable and much harder to deal with. A full cavalry team also provides problems due to overlapping unit ranges, making it hard to kill him without putting one of my units in danger. Linde, Tharja and Kagero are all threats, but I can usually dance Ephraim over to one shot them. Bows are a non issue since Lilina has bowbreaker. She also deals with the green mage meta quite well. Triangle Adept M!Robin has also become an annoyance ever since I replaced Michalis on the team. However, Ninian does double him for decent damage after a hone Spd buff. Armours are a joke on defense, and I don't see myself using Armours on an arena team due to lol1mov, but I might make an exception for Hector if I pull him.
  4. I managed to complete that one without Camilla (not like I ever wanted her) with some really crazy strategy that involved Oboro tanking the chokepoint and Lyn barely surviving on 1HP. I wasn't even sure what I was even doing at that time. That being said, why are they redoing Navarre(who was quite recent) and not Narcian? Doesn't make much sense to me.
  5. I always hunt summon now. Every time I've tried doing full summons, the game "rewards" me with a 5* healer. On the other hand, hunt summoning has consistently given me the focus character I want most from the banner.
  6. 4,780 score has now fallen to rank 4,400. Don't think I'll make the top 5k. Today's matches went fine for the most part, scariest thing was not Reinhardt, surprisingly, but a +4 fury/lightning breath+ Ninian. She still got shanked by Alm, because no tri adept. TBH, I find Ninian to be more threatening than Azura to my team, mostly because magic damage and all 4 members of my team being -Res
  7. I'm not sure how the upload quota works. I have to manually delete my old screenshots in order to upload more.
  8. Threaten skills are fine. You only really need hone Atk and Spd on one unit each, the rest are free to run other C skills, and threaten skills work fine. Seal skills are bad in most cases. You can make an argument for seal Atk on a duelist set and seal Spd on a debuffer, but that's about it.
  9. @eclipse @DehNutCase I'll put in my 2 cents on this matter because why not? I think this entire obsession over stats and which units are the "best" is rather pointless. If anything, I'd recommend players to use the units and characters they like, and not the units at the top of some tier list, because with SI, any unit can become good, or at least usable in the arena, something most of you know by now. If I was given the option to replace my current arena lineup of Alm/Ninian/Lilina/Ephraim with Lucina/Azura/Tharja/Effie, complete with perfect natures and skillsets, I would never do it, as I would be giving up 4 characters I like for ones I don't care for/outright dislike. This rationale carries over into my unit guides and builds, as I focus on making them the best they can be, rather than try to slot them into "niches" where they aren't outclassed, because anyone reading said guide for help would have already decided to use that unit, and as such, I don't need to give them a reason as to why they should be used over others. This may not extend to everyone, but I think most long time fans would derive more enjoyment from using units they like, tier lists be damned. Even when rerolling, I did so to get a unit I liked(Lyn in my case), not to get one that was top tier. After all, this is first and foremost a video game, and maximising my enjoyment of the game is my main priority.
  10. 4,780 is now rank 3,644 5 successful defences so far. While I didn't have much problems getting a perfect run on day 1, I've noticed a sharp spike in the number of Dancer+Reinhardt teams I've been facing on subsequent days of this week. I hope this doesn't continue, for my sake.
  11. That works too, but I don't suggest using bonfire as her Def is rather low
  12. L&D/Death blow Sword/Bowbreaker, depending on your team's weaknesses Aura of your choice (optimally threaten res) Her default weapon is fine, but can be replaced with Raudrblade. Skill should be either draconic aura or moonbow
  13. I use Lilina to counter the green mages. She OHKOs S!Camilla and Nino, but cannot OHKO Julia, who gets 2HKOd instead. She also performs well against low res units, and if you give her sword/bowbreaker, she can erase those units as well.
  14. As per my record, I beat it within 15 minutes. Team used was Ninian, Lilina, Ephraim and Kagero. Basic strategy was bait and kill mages, then kite armours.
  15. Just encountered my first cavalry team today which had Eliwood, Reinhardt, Olwen and Gunter. Nope'd right out. It was on the map with the pillars and water tiles, which is one of the worst maps to fight horses on. Slapping vantage on Alm saved me on the next match when he vantage-draconic aura OHKOed a brave axe Cherche that would have killed him.
  16. Oh lawd that HP. Team will be Ninian, Lilina, Ephraim and maybe Michalis? Assuming the enemies don't aggro until you're in range, I think I can open up by sending Lilina to ORKO the green knight, then dancing her to safety. Then it becomes a matter of separating the mages from the knights and picking them off first. Zephiel himself can be kited once the mages are dead. The knights may very likely have wings of mercy to make the map harder. Also, I love how the player's units in the map preview are all from FE6
  17. New quests, and free Pegasus sisters for everyone! No Zephiel though :( Edit: whoops, didn't realise this was a double post
  18. Never really got the impression that you were annoyed. After all, criticism is what helps us make better skillsets right? No hard feelings, really.
  19. Well, using "good but outclassed" units is my thing after all. I mean, my arena team is Alm, Ninian, Lilina and Ephraim ffs. I still make them work anyways because character>stats for me. Fun fact, all 4 of them have been "bad unit" circlejerked on Reddit at least once before.
  20. I just edited my previous post with some additional points. My arena team before this week was basically slow units w/ breaker skills/quick riposte + dancer. Adding a relatively fast unit would benefit me more than one that can't double on player phase
  21. Where are you getting those numbers from? I don't see any way to input enemy skill combinations into the mass duel calculator. Edit: never mind, found it By no losses, I meant no losses with an optimal nature. The other 3 require redundant or suboptimal natures in order to achieve 0 losses against the neutral cast. Also, turning a +Spd unit with 37 spd into a chipper is a waste of potential IMO, and not worth the ORKOs he misses out on. Not to mention that chippers don't really have a place in serious arena teams. I tried doing that at first to little effect, as my other units can easily ORKO without needing chip damage. Marth lite means nothing if I don't even own marth in the first place. I'm not a whale, remember? I don't even have any of the other falchion users for that matter.
  22. Dragon fang Alm only fails to ORKO 5 units with +Atk and fury. 1 less KO is nothing compared to his greater utility elsewhere
  23. Regarding Alm, this is the build I'm using now. +Spd gives him a lot of extra doubling potential especially with fury equipped. Didn't give him swordbreaker as I'm out of sullys and can't pull an Abel. Did calculations for the 4 falchions yesterday and he's definitely much better than Chrom with optimised sets for both. With the optimal nature, he's also better than neutral Marth, but that's not exactly a fair comparison. He's the safest of the 4 since he's not too frail and not too slow either. With +spd and fury equipped, he has 0 losses in the mass duel calculator, which means that he can engage most enemies at full HP.
  24. I honestly don't think there will be any green units on the banner since Zephiel's red, and the previous battling banners have never included a hero with triangle disadvantage to the grand hero. Feel free to laugh at me if I'm wrong though.
  25. This is FE6 Zephiel. Jaffar and Nino are extremely unlikely since they are from FE7, and are not strong against Zephiel either. Linde is also very unlikely as Zephiel's wary fighter negates her best asset in speed. If anything, we're probably getting Odin. Lilina doesn't rely on doubling, and targets Res, and is an important character in FE6 so she's highly likely to be on the banner. Roy may be on as well, but he already had his own banner before.
