I'm really hoping this is the case. Eirika fans usually love both Ephraim and Eirika. Can't really love one without the other. I'm just worried that Eirika voters either won't care or will just stop voting in general.

I love both Neimi and Colm and would have loved to see them (and Cormag) in this banner. Come to think of it, I would have loved to see a large quantity of units over specific units b/c SS has the best characters. That's kind of why I'm mad about a banner with only 3 characters with one being a repeat. SS had the least amount of characters and they decided to release a repeat? Makes no sense. Though to be fair we're getting a TT and a GHB as well.

Maybe this banner being all female is because the folks who thought the valentines would be all male is correct? Maybe valentine is the male form of the bridal banner and they released an all female banner right before it to cancel it out?

I still think this breaks lore. She says she thinks Lyon can do it because Lyon has a pure heart. She never says that she could or that she wants anything to do with it. Still, I suppose I get where IS is coming from. I still feel like this banner breaks lore and makes it seem like IS thinks SS is just another chest of Waifus. At least we got Lyon I suppose. I love Eirika. I would have loved Eirika to win CYL and get a brave version of her that's exactly like this. Just...not like this. I feel like brave heroes should be tied to CYL exclusively and this makes it seem like IS is just gonna release alternates of all the lords... The exception would be if this is a one time thing. Like maybe b/c we are voting for CYL they decide to drop a surprise brave hero from someone who didn't win but got in the top 10 last time. I think that would be pretty cool, but that doesn't look like what this is.

Hopefully more than that. It would be kinda unfair if it didn't get something else since L'arachel gets +3 to a stat. I know Eirika is more important and maybe her prf should be better than Lloyd, but not L'arachel.

Wasn't she totally against it though? Didn't she warn him against it? Why would she be learning from him?

I understand a lot of people think Eirika would learn dark magic off Lyon. But I think it's more likely that if she knew Lyon was dabbling in dark magic she would have tried to stop him, not sign up for private tutoring. Either way, I don't mean to be THAT guy but this banner is kinda insulting to SS. It's like "Oh, I heard you guys wanted more SS characters. Well let's see we got Waifu Myrrh, Waifu Marsia, Waifu L'arachel and....hell, we'll just do Waifu Eirika again". Like the combination of re-releasing Eirika when Magvel has the lowest character roaster in FEH and them all being waifus makes me thing IS doesn't care about people who like SS characters. Which is sad b/c I think a lot of people would agree when I say SS has the best character roaster of any FE game. Oh well, hopefully another Eirika will cause Eirika voters to vote Ephraim instead.

You underestimate how easy it is to ignore English-speaker fan outcry when you're a Japanese company. Also, you're saying fans would be happy if they suddenly combined split votes to make another character lose? I think more people would be mad if someone got bumped off slot 2 b/c they changed the rules.

You cant combine the results. CYL 1 was fairly organized and people still voted for both Marths. CYL 2 won't be any different, people will vote for both of them.

Marth can actually be really good. I don't know why people keep underestimating him. His stats are : 41/31/34/29/23. He's like the best falchion user in the game (best at killing Nowi). Lucina is probably slightly better but Marth is really solid. Totally underestimated. Magvel also had the lowest amount of characters until this month. And no characters in the beginning of the game. And no characters in Warriors. I still say that Jugdral and Magvel are totally ignored by IS and it will continue to be that way forever.

I mean whenever falchion gets upgraded, Marth will get an upgrade. The reason they haven't yet is because Falchion is still a solid weapon whereas durandel was pretty bad. I don't think appearing in more banners really makes you more popular, but maybe that's just my view. I still don't think you can say that IS abandoned a character that they promote like crazy in all their other games. This is literally the only game where he is misrepresented, if at all. I would say Sothe and Micaiah being so late is more of an insult than only appearing in one banner despite being a 4*. My personal opinion of Marth has actually gone down over the years just because IS keeps promoting him as FE's poster child. It always seemed to me like Marth is the only FE lord that is allowed to be important other than whatever the newest few games are.

Probably b/c Marth is available as a 4*. Eliwood has pretty much the same treatment. My point with bridal Caeda is that Marth's game has recieved seasonals. Ephraim's game, SS, has not.

How about including him in FE Warriors? How about being one of the original 5*'s in FEH with the whole unique cut-scenes and all? And Caeda has a seasonal. Also, they made another Marth game - New Mystery of the Emblem only 8 years ago. And he's in Smash. Ephraim has been neglected far more than Marth, Marth gets a ton of love from IS.

I think Ephraim gained a lot of popularity through both the VG and the resurfacing Disgusting memes. I don't think it's that he picked up new fans as much as he re-incited old fans who moved on. Remember Ephraim beat Chrom in CYL which indicates a trend of Ephraim going up or Chrom down which we can expect has continued. Besides, there are three Chroms already, do people really feel like voting for a fourth?

I mean there's no arguing that Marth mains voted for Marth because of smash. So those voters are perfectly movable and I think the smash community's impact is much smaller. Either way, Ephraim has definitely gained in popularity due to FEH and all this new SS content is probably putting people in the mood to vote for the Renais twins.

Remember Marth only beat Ephraim by 900. And I think Ephraim has moved up and Marth down. As for females, I would not trust the reddit poll at all with females. The reason I trust the males is because I expect most of the casuals (80+%) to vote for females. This makes the females really unpredictable but if I'm right they'll end up leaving the male vote to reddit and the JP folks.

If you have like 14 votes from one IP then yes, they probably won't care. If you have hundreds they will probably care. Basically, you're not going to make a difference in the vote without them noticing.

I would agree but it's still an indication. Reddit has 50k members, plus those who don't have accounts but still linger around (so we'll assume the lurkers counter-balance those who aren't really members anymore and keep it at 50k). Right now, it looks like 7% of the votes there are going towards Ephraim. If we average out that they'll vote for ephraim 5 times (some will vote 7, others will vote only one-three times), that's more votes than Ephraim got last time total at 17500 votes.

Word of warning for people using multiple browsers. You're still using the same IP. It would not be at all difficult for IS to see this. Even if you use a VPN, don't think for a minute that they can't get your original IP. IS will just retract all your votes, even the legitimate ones. And it's not cool.

True, but Marth was only above Ephraim by 900 points. And that was with a huge, prominent, smash fanbase. I don't think the smash fanbase is as big as it was before so I think less Marth mains will be voting and all he needs to do is drop by 900 points. I also think while Marth is dropping because of this, Ephraim will be rising for other reasons.

Technically I think Hector will beat Ephraim. But I think it's going to be a lot closer than people think so I'm gonna throw Ephraim in slot #1. 1. Ephraim 2. Hector 1. Camilla 2. F!Corrin I think there's a lot of hate for Tharja for some reason right now. Sure its mostly not with the casual voters but the Camilla/Tharja vote is pretty close so I wouldn't be surprised if that moves Tharja down below Camilla. As for F!Corrin, I think a waifu will sneak in between Camilla and Tharja. I don't believe all the Lyn and Lucina voters will vote for camilla or Tharja, I think they'll pick another waifu, not whatever Camilla/Tharja is. And I saw a lot of enthusiasm for FCorrin on JP twitters. I don't think Chrom or Marth is going to finish anywhere near Ephraim and Hector. I think a lot of people have too much faith in CYL 1's results.
