    1) What is your opinion on RNG nonsense?

    2) Who do you look up to as a Hero Figure?

    I'm going to be trying to figure out how Hero Merit works I'm still trying to gather data for it, but what I've seen so far is:

    Your Hero's level matters

    The Enemies' levels matter (I'm thinking either cumulative, or average * number of enemies)

    * rating does not seem to make a difference

    There is a bonus for when the enemies' levels are around your hero's level (but not when they are excessively higher in level)  

    Also the tenth stratum seems to behave differently than the others

     

    I'm still gathering numbers to try and find a pattern, but I figure I might need some help when it comes to figuring out the formula for HM generation especially with the wonky rounding FEH sometimes has.

  3. So, Cordelia (flier) is getting a huge lift on that tier list, I have one that is +atk -def, and one that is +spd -res. I only have so much SI I can give (at most the 2 version of Fury/L&D/DeB) and I don't have a firesweep lance for her. I'm thinking Death Blow 2, Goad Fliers, and reposition. I'm not exactly sure what to do for the B skill though. Any thoughts?

    He is to be used as a player phase unit, not an enemy phase one, that's why I gave him WOM, if he was spd+ that would be optimal, but I don't have that.

    this build also isn't very hard to make.

    and thanks for helping me to decide what to do with the extra 5* Lyn I pulled with a better IV

  5. I've been away for quite a while, but now I'm finally back

    first, I was given some advice for a Draug, sorry, I didn't really listen

    He is meant to be paired with Gwendolyn for the hone armor bringing him to 40 spd on the attack, anytime he attacks a unit that can counterattack and he quads he will activate ignis.

    once I get back to 20k feathers I'll have a hard time deciding who I want to promote next, not sure if it should be Camus, Xander, or an atk+ Effie. 

    secondly, if I had a unit with an ok, but not great IV that I trained up and gave all the skills to, then later got one with a great IV should I just merge the old one into the new one to give it all the skills (without spending sp) and the extra sp and the +1? Or would just having two be fine?

    It seems like most 'villains' are going to be made available through GHBs so I don't think they'll add a banner of evil characters. 

    I also want something for all those characters that always get benched and no one remembers

  7. Out of those 8 I only have Tharja, M!Robin, and Henry.

    I want the feathers, but I honestly don't know how I'd win anything with Henry, my M!Robin is vanilla still, and Tharja... Well we already know what's going to happen there.

    Why can't I just  side with Lilina? It's a good thing my Lilina has Red Tomebreaker so she can cover more of the triangle. 

    Guess I'm undecided for now?

    @BestFriendJ0 @Arcanite Reposition and Smite are absolute musts for armors outside of Armor Emblem (Smite especially) because they help slow-moving Armors catch up with the rest of the team. 

    However, if you're doing Armor Emblem, and your entire team is made up of slow-moving armored units, you actually want to run Swap instead since everyone will ideally stay in a nice little box as they move around the map anyways. This makes it much easier to rearrange your team so that you always have the most advantageous person tanking incoming attacks. 

    I have enough Swaps for everyone (Thanks Stahl!) 

    This should be interesting, does Armor Emblem usually work out for people?

    Wary Fighter 3 is only 2k feathers away for Draug.

    one day I will throw this up as the Arena defense team and see what happens...

    And I'll be able to do those lunatic armor quests when they come back... absolutely worth 3 orbs...

    I threw a draug's Ward Armor and a swap onto Zephiel, Draug will make a nice candidate for a bonfire (and either Swap, Reposition, or Smite) and idk what B skill maybe a breaker for doubles? Sheena  can also have whatever assist and has her Fortify Armors, idk about the rest, maybe she's a moonbow candidate for having not so great attack. And Gwendy is Gwendy, enough said... But I can have her Hone Armor on and then suddenly everyone around her is even better. 

    But they all have a movement range of 1. Is this crazy? 

    EDIT: oh, I forgot, I threw a Smite on Sheena to help people move, since it was Bartre I threw Brash assault 2 on as well, can this even work?

    Second EDIT: Gwendy would have 55 defense after team buffs, 56 if her defiant activates. She will be my wall.

    Awesome! I'm thrilled to know I'm not useless.

    Now I just need to do those lunatic ones myself and see how well that team I've been working on performs and is hopefully also not useless.

    Also I'm not sure if you're ok with it, but I noticed that spreadsheet you put up had your actual name in it. 

    good luck on the quests, seems like a whole lot for two orbs, but every bit counts when you're F2P right?

    EDIT: I forgot that you can also get the heroes through quests, they have some pretty good skills to pass around!

    That and the 4 hard/lunatic quests requiring F!Robin and Navarre to whoop their own butts in the GHB.

     

    Just in case you can't wait for someone more professional I'll try and make a suggestion which may or may not work. (I'm not fantastic so I wouldn't use all the stamina on this)

    You may want to try Reinhardt, Olivia, M!Robin, and either Cordelia or Camilla, I'm not sure which of your two fliers will work better. (Maybe Cordelia since you put Reposition on her which is great for getting people out of danger)

    I figure you can use M!Robin to draw them out of position by putting him in the trees in range of the one thief (if he's tough enough you may be able to continue using him as bait, idk if you're willing to sacrifice someone to him for Triangle Adept), the thieves have high res so you'll need to hit them with melee to do decent damage, I figure the fliers can do that since they can go over trees and have brave weapons for maximum destruction. Your Olivia looks to be a high enough level to where she can take a hit from the ax user if needed, and Reinhardt should be able to take care of Navarre. I don't know how many rounds each will take which is why I suggest Olivia in case you need a dance. (You should try and make it so anything you attack doesn't survive the turn because they have a healer) Once you get two or three of the units down they shouldn't be able to gang up as effectively 

    This definitely wouldn't be a walk in the park, you may even want to look up how to control the AI so that you know what will come charging at you and in what order. 

    As for defeating the heroes with themselves, I'll leave that to the professionals.

  13. I think the idea of throwing other Nintendo characters in there is a pretty funny idea. 

    we can have Tiki dressed up as Bowser

    and Fae pretending to be Kirby, most likely Fire Kirby, that would probably be the one that makes the most sense. 

    Whenever Zelgius comes around he can pretend to be Aries.... oh, wait...

  14. Well lets see, I'll probably get the hard mode one without too much trouble like always, but unless I get 300 more sp (by tomorrow I think?) I'm not going to be able to kite around like I want to. If I can get enough sp for everyone, maybe this will be a good way to test my new team and 1 other unit. Darned Catria (she is already about lv 30 and its the free one from today) is distracting me from focusing on giving Michalis sp since I want the whitewings cosplay... 

    I'm thinking Lilina will nuke the green armor, get repositioned behind Michalis, Gwendy and Zephiel can play together, and Michalis will smash the blue things and then I need Lilina to also go after the red mage. But I have one more unit, maybe a Kagero to help with the mages? But she is so squishy, that might be what costs me the battle, I could always grab a hammer or something (Cherche) instead I guess. Maybe a healer would be a safe choice too, buuuut I don't have Rehabilitate (yet) so it would be Elise with mend. 

    I just gotta decide who would take that fourth slot (I don't want to do this with horse emblem, and I don't think they can do it since I didn't give them kite skills because I wanted my other team to have kite abilities) 

    I'll try and think of something, and get my newly promoted 5* Michalis back to lv 40 quickly (Spring Chrom to the rescue!)

  15. Usually the trend for GHBs is 

    1) bottleneck the player units

    2) supporting units hard counter units that naturally counter the Grand Hero

    So my expectations are:

    Ideally you would want your team to be able to counter units that would counter any units that Zephiel is weak to. 

    Basically whatever Zephiel is strong against the rest of the enemy team will be weak to, so you would want one unit that can handle Zephiel, and the rest need to do something else, like be red or green physical weapon users. And of course the enemy are placed so that as soon as one of your units are in range of an enemy they are in range of maybe 2-3 enemies so you need people that can take a hit.   (of course that is all my best guesstimate, for all we know this could be the easiest GHB ever... lol)

    Finally I would like to get both versions, sometimes I have trouble getting both.

  16. A survival mode where the amount of enemies you defeat before you inevitably fall contributes to an overall score could be possible.

    I can also see a very simple "don't let them touch the chair" maps, or timed defense where they come continuously, but after a set number of turns you win. Those two are pretty standard for Fire Emblem. 

    I honestly hope that units don't just come out of nowhere, and for the love of all, DO NOT place them at the start of the enemy turn, AND give them a turn as soon as they spawn. That was probably the number one reason I had to restart chapters in the GBA games, and of course I didn't want to lose anyone.
