  1. I REALLY don't want another route split, I want a simple singular linear story that's well written, as well as being a highly replayable game (akin to awakening). Maybe too high of a hope but I think it can definitely happen.

  3. I would be happy to get even more rings than we already have but I just doubt it as that means more models to make, we'll just have to wait for a new trailer.
  4. Just cause you dont like the designs doesnt mean it's bad, everyone has their opinions. I dont see the reason to say this at all.

Alear: Def marth since they have cutscenes with him so marth is most likely the "canon" choice Alfred: Sigurd mostly because of the trailer and seems like they made Sigurd a lance cav here so he'd fit, don't think any other character fits him though. Dark skinned girl: Depends on if her weapon is a lance or a staff but if its a lance, I have no idea as there's only 1 lance user (Sigurd) from the bunch we know. This could suggest there are more emblem rings than what we know of but for all we know, they could just pair her with lyn or sumn. But if she's a staff, it gives her options like Celica and Micaiah. Maybe Celine was just a trailer example for Celica and her canon pairing is with the dark skinned girl. Red haired swordsman: Definitely Roy or Ike, leaning more towards Roy since Ike uses axes in this game, but he might be able to unlock swords later so who knows. Mage girl (Abby): Micaiah or Celica, maybe Celica though since she's known to use fire magic and we see Abby using some in the cg trailer.

  7. If it isn't obvious, it's the player controlling the character. Basically the arrow is now the actual character. I bet theres gonna be an option to change it back though.
  8. Oh yeah I realized it pretty early, it's really sad as I really like drawn character portraits but it won't sour the experience too much. It'll be missed and I hope this doesn't continue for future games. The models are thankfully much better than how they are in three houses so it's not too bad.
  9. Agree and I do hope that I end up being wrong, I imagine it not being too hard to just put the weapon onto the emblems but maybe theres something holding em back from doing that ig
  10. Looked back at Celine's skills and it seems like there's nothing like that unless it isn't unlocked yet. We'll see, maybe Framme's tweet will clear it up.
  11. Oh! you mentioning the key reminded me, when Clan walks up, you can see an enemy having an item drop icon at the top left. Also, I didn't see Celine not having a staff in this clip and she *seems* to be in the same class as before. You might be right! Though, looking back at the trailer, I noticed when Celine is engaged, some of her inventory is has a darker background while her other items have a lighter background so I'd have to guess the items you get from engaging are the ones with the darker background. Which means Celine does have access to swords and tomes! and she gets a staff through engaging. So if I had to guess, the weapon icons on the map probably show the weapon you have equipped + a staff if you have one in your inventory. I wonder how Celica will heal if someone is not engaged though. Lastly, to explain how Sigurd uses a sword in the trailer but Alfred doesn't, I honestly think the answer is disappointing: I think emblems just have a set animation with set weapons. If you look closely in the trailer, Marth uses falchion despite only having a rapier. So I'm guessing while Sigurd only has lances, his battle animation will only use Tyrfing while retaining whatever effects his lances have.
  12. Really nice analysis! Btw thieves wield axes so our axe guy might be a thief! And also Celine might just be a sword user but engaging would probably change the weapon (maybe movement type too?) you use, only problem with that is Corrin who shapeshifts and that would be weird with anyone who doesn't shapeshift. It's been very consistent that the weapon icons are the weapon they use, so I genuinely don't think Celine is a tome user.
  13. Or Cramme lul. If I had to guess it'll be early game characters until the next trailer which will probably give more context about the kingdoms, and THEN they'll show em off
  14. Love the look of the game, the bright colors really do remind me of the GBA games. No problem! I mean I'm always eagerly waiting for the next post so I try to post it asap. Oh wow I didn't notice the Shinto Priest part, we just gotta wait for a translator to clear that up, speaking of, I'll also post an update when we get translations
  15. Man, the music sounds so good already. The map also looks kinda cool, I hope there are thieves making us rush to the chests. Also, seems like we see a new unit, the axe guy on our team, unless that's Anna. EDIT: ALSO I didn't really think about it but the fact that fire shows up in his arms on the close up means each spell will probably have a different look with that close up, I really like that!

  17. Not really surprising, since this happened with echoes before + it's been 3 years since three houses + the leak (which I personally believed when it was shown)
  18. iirc fates characters were also revealed through famitsu, i remember seeing characters bein released overtime though I forgot how often they showed em, i think it was weekly though
  19. I think this is a case more similar to echoes, with being announced 4 months before release. If I remember correctly, for echoes we'd have to wait for famitsu issues to show off the characters, which then would be shown off shortly after in the japanese website for echoes.
  20. I know the game just got announced but I just want to analyze everything they release about this game ;-; getting a more developed cast of characters like echoes would be great, though.
