....I honestly don't know what to say right now. I went into Alm's Army only planning to pull blues for Delthea, Mathilda or any of the rarer blue units who've avoided me up to this point. So naturally, my first circle had no blues and I get a 3* Gordin for my troubles. Then, the madness happened. The second circle also had no blues, so I just pick the red at the top of the circle. It ends up spitting out Gray. I back out of that circle after that and my next one gives me two blues. Much to my excitement, the first blue stone I open in this banner gives me Delthea! I finally have a 5* blue mage and I couldn't be happier that she gets to be my first one. Though I apparently must have slighted Rezzy without realizing it, because both of them are unfortunately -ATK (Gray is +HP, Delthea +RES). Even still, I'm really surprised and happy with getting 2/3 of this banner's focus characters so quickly!

Keep in mind we also should be getting a Ch. 11 + 12 Chain Challenge if not immediately then some time pretty soon, so that's another 8 orbs to get as well. Best of luck to all of you as well. I know I'm going to need it while I'm being buried alive under the likes of Jagen and Gwendolyn.

Delthea is a blue tome unit.

I'm not sure if anyone else has made this connection or at the very least has said it out loud, but Delthea has apparently been Yveltal this whole time. No wonder she has such destructive power when her true identity is that of the bacon bird of death itself.

Delthea and Mathilda? You freaking spoil me, IS. Guess I'll have a grand ole time pulling nothing but blue on Alm's Army. I would seriously love for Delthea to be my first 5* blue mage and Mathilda is amazing in her own right as well. Maybe I'll even find Cordelia along the way... It's a single story chapter that's accompanying these banners, not two paralogues.

Assuming they intended for a SoV character to be featured for this next GHB, then they couldn't make the next GHB unit be an axe cavalier as SoV has no axe cavaliers at all unless if they pulled another Faye and gave Rudolf an axe to really make him Proto-Walhart. Though yes, they really do need to up the variety of axe cavaliers, sword fliers and honestly knights in general. Seriously, they've only added one knight (Zephiel) to the playable cast up to this point. I think we're well overdue to get a new knight added. They could also stand to add a second green manakete, a second red tome cavalier and a second green tome cavalier as we only have Fae, Leo and Cecilia respectively as options for each.

To be fair, Berkut is only the second lance GHB unit up to this point and just the third blue. I honestly would've liked it better if they went with Jedah or Nuibooba instead on the grounds that there hasn't been a mage GHB unit since Ursula, who was only the third GHB ever. We're also a little more than a month removed from Camus's GHB, who was the first lance GHB unit and also a cavalier so giving us Berkut so soon after Camus is a bit redundant IMO. Then again, that didn't stop them from giving us FOUR sword GHB units in a row so I suppose they don't give a crap about being redundant with their picks for GHB units.

As of this evening, I now have 14 units who've maxed their merits with Alm and Leo being latest ones to cap thanks to these trials. Alm Camus Effie Eirika Ephraim Klein Leo Wish You Were Bridelia Instead Bride!Lyn Ninian Nino Priscilla Ryoma Soren Tharja Units who are at least halfway there are Kagero (1,671), Camilla (1,640), Lukas (1,500), Maria (1,328), Eldigan (1,309), Zephiel (1,145), Lachesis (1,113) and Xander (1,078).

Well, Phantom Spd is now in my possession (last run put my score at 40,200) so, yay? I suppose my Alm is now just 66 merits away from max so I can look forward to changing my team up very soon. I did see the very adorable sight of a Virion with Atk Ploy a bit earlier who only had 15 Res, kek. That gave me a good chuckle at least. I'm still enjoying these trials enough though and will keep going until I get every last orb like the greedy wretch that I am.

-Atk Spring Camilla is better than no Spring Camilla at all. I kinda wish I tried harder to pull her, but what's done is done I suppose.

As someone who has played Echoes, I can tell you that Berkut and Lloyd have little to nothing in common with each other. Michalis would be the far more apt comparison as Berkut also has delusions of ruling over his entire continent and even has a morality pet (his girlfriend Rinea) like how Michalis has Maria as his.

Well, I suppose I can look forward to having a little mage girl kick his sorry ass again. Too bad Delthea won't be the one doing it this time though Nino will do excellent work in her stead. Really, that's about the only thing I can get even remotely excited about for this GHB because I don't like Berkut at all. He definitely won't be replacing Camus for me that's for sure, though that's assuming his weapon will even have built-in Distant Counter to begin with.

While we're talking about Chain Challenge, I just got done with Lunatic 7+8 and Lunatic 10 for it. Now all I have left for Lunatic is 9+10 and considering how much grief 7+8 gave me, can't say I'm looking forward to trying it seriously Lunatic 7+8 can go screw itself. I have yet to do any Chain Challenges on Normal or Hard since I'm a greedy mofo I would rather go for the orbs first over the feathers Normal and Hard give. Teams Used if anyone cares

5* Tobi-poo is now mine as my last run put my score at 30,112. Have to say, my Alm is loving these Tempest Trials as all the SP he has been getting has allowed me to unlock Renewal 3 and Reciprocal Aid so he can be a Falchion cleric now. As such, my A Team is now comprised of Alm/Lukas/Kagero/Katarina, with Katarina booting out Lachesis to provide my team with a good mage that and she could use the SP. Once Alm maxes his merits (he just passed 1500 not long ago), I suppose I'll have to shake my team up again starting with inserting Boey as the new bonus unit but I'll worry about that more once Alm gets really close to max.

If it makes you feel any better, it took getting five off-banner 5*s (Faye, Rebecca, Jeorge, Minerva, Young!Tiki) until I got one of the summer units (Frederick). Even then, Tiki is the one that I want the most out of the four but because she's a focus character that I want, that means I'm doomed to never get her like Bridelia before her. I'm still perfectly content that I got at least one of them and hopefully one of them will find their way to you as well.

That decision is even stranger given that the Archanea remakes did lift the male-only lock on archers with them introducing Norne and Clarisse while also allowing females to reclass into archer.

Though I did it last night, I promoted a certain blonde princess to 5* and sadly her brother will be next up for promotion so that's another for me (not F2P). With my last run, my score is now sitting at 22,665. Current A Team Not Quite Horse Emblem featuring Anna Current B Team The +ATK/-RES Squad featuring Ryoma Current C Team My A Team has been changed up a bit since both Effie and Bride!Lyn are now at max merits and ready to earn their Lv. 50 Mr. Hollywood suits. I'll be surprised if anyone here knows what I'm referencing with that. I currently have Lukas in Effie's place and Lachesis taking Lyn's spot though I've also used my +1 Minerva (+HP, -DEF; Hauteclere, Swap, Luna, Life and Death 3, Wings of Mercy 2, Threaten Atk 3, Quickened Pulse) a bit as well. I'm still mostly getting A Speed / B Survival runs on the 7 battle Lunatic tier though I've gotten 705 score runs a few times. So far, I've just been taking it easy and I'm not in any particular rush to pad my score. As such, I've only used one or maybe two stamina pots to get more runs in up to this point. 5* Tobin will likely be mine by the end of Sunday night at the rate I'm going at, so there's that I guess.

They're also going to compensate us for that daily orb bug with 10 orbs on the 13th.
