Crossing my fingers Cain and Abel are in base roster so they can hopefully get do-overs. They were done DIRTY in Cipher I despise how they look.

I fully expect the second time Thracia ever gets touched again they do everyone. Shannam is so redundant with nothing new he became a promo. I don't expect a lot of Thracia's irrelevant side characters with nothing new like Ralph who can't even promote to get more than one card. Plus the amount of villains being nonexistent (4 at best. 2 that are irrelevant one-offs: Reinhardt (but guaranteed due to Heroes popularity) and Kempf.

Lyn is extremely out of place and will be the only Blazing Blade character. It has to be Intelligent Systems. Especially when a random Celica will be thrown in the game soon.

Koei didn't put Lyn in. Intelligent Systems did. Koei has made it clear IS played a part of the decisions from the roster. Lucina wasn't going to be in until IS stepped in. Lyn is the same case.

Nope. Navarre is from one of the three games so it makes no sense for him to be a clone of Lyn. Lyn was forced last second from Intelligent Systems like Lucina. There's likely a generic myrmidon moveset and instead of one copying another they copied that. "It's not really. She likely will be. Hopefully Celica doesn't get stuck with a stupid tome.

This picture right here shows Lyn dual wielding. Navarre was confirmed off a screenshot who's famous for his dual wielding (most notably out of game stuff that depicts him dual wielding) Characters in this game tend to be similar to each other (Sakura sharing some attacks and animations with Takumi, Cordelia and Hinoka fiasco) The last minute additions from IS aka Nintendo tend to be the most similar... (Lucina completely copying Chrom's moveset except the special animations but that's it). So it's extremely likely Lyn is really similar to Navarre especially since she doesn't dual wield to begin with.

Rowan's hairstyle is AWFUL. A wannabe super saiyan and Lianna straight up copies Noire. They didn't even try with the OCs. Their hairstyles are bad and especially Rowan should feel bad.

I LOVE when people call Alm bland when he's more memorable personality wise than every lord in the franchise (except Leif... Ily so MUCH Leif) Alm proves there's more to him by having a dorky reckless side if you ever checked out the examination feature which goes great with his serious. mellow with a tad bit of a hot-headed personality. Alm coming from both sides of the whole commoners vs nobles thing with Alm being more of a commoner and his heritage being tacked on him is PERFECT. Especially when one of the themes is to "never judge who you are and where you came from" so secret noble or not Alm is still the only lord you'd actually see in the dirt. Marth is Marth. Not that special. Sigurd is generic and is only memorable because he got burned up. Seliph is just as generic but only remembered because he's the child of the lord who actually died. Roy is only liked and remembered so much because lol: "Roy's our boy!" and fire sword. I even looked into his supports and they don't expand his character and especially his personality that much. Eliwood is nothing to write home about. Lyn was shafted in her own story so there's no chance for her to get a established character than just a badass female. Hector is cool but I prefer Alm. Hector's my third favorite though and i admit he's more fun to watch. (Though Alm's antics like him looking into the sun is fun too) Eirika... Ehhh nah... Ephraim bullshits his way through everything and is way too much of a perfect guy for me. Storming a castle with three guys is just bullshit and Eirika has to suffer for his decision instead of Ephraim unlike Alm where if he fucks up he gets chewed out and has to take responsibility. At least in Echoes it's established Alm has always been fighting with a full-blown army than just his friends as cutscenes and the game proves. Ike has ZERO character and no depth there's nothing more to him than just being a badass. Micaiah struggles and I respect that. Not sure if I'd call her better than Alm since she did make dumb decisions and didn't listen to anybody. Chrom isn't that special either and he BACKPEDALS on the growth the game was trying to give him. He's willing to screw over the future and be the reason a ton more losses happen when he was supposed to be built up to accept sacrifice for the sake of finally achieving peace and end the deaths. Corrin is so bad it's not even a contest. XD No one's jumping off a cliff for Alm not even the people closest to him: his friends.

They might find an excuse. As long as he's actually competent I'm good. Plus you never know they might throw the twin's in Marth's word at the point where Camus encounter happens. After all from one of the scenes they showed the Fire Emblem receiving the first piece from Chrom instead of Marth. Chrom did have the blue energy orb thing after all.

Okay but Their designs are terrible (to the point they both copy Corrin's badge thing... Seriously?), voices are iffy, they add nothing of worth to this series as a whole (If Alfonse and Sharena contributed more y'know you dun goof'd), are the face of controversy with this game and plus the twins in Warriors received an official description by Koei along the line and they are literally discount worse Ephraim and Eirika. Doesn't help how every scene and stuff we seen them in supports this. (Reckless brother that gets into trouble and the entire reason he even meets the Shepherds because he slipped and fell. Actually happened btw.) If they at least tried with the twins like Hyrule Warriors' OCs received effort I would love them more. I just don't like them though :(

They better! It'd make no sense otherwise! Plus I want to see Cain + Abel and Gordin + Draug finally get supports for once! New Mystery fucked them over in terms of interaction. The OGs like Cain and Abel for example couldn't even interact with each other! (Cain trying to comfort a hurt Abel for betraying his country would've been grand). That is one of my many problems with New Mystery. Jagen is the Frederick to Marth's Chrom. Cain and Abel started an entire archetype making them landmarks and they're at the beginning of Marth's tale too. No excuses. That's what I was saying. Camus might've been made first tho since he's a villain and has a bigger role in the story.

... So Rowan and Lianna will still have swords Cool More reason for me to hate those garbage twins.

Ogma can be an axe further making roster unique

Since clones are being a thing in this title (Yay!) There's absolutely no excuse on passing up Cain, Abel, Jagen and Gordin (Draug's a shoe-in) Not only will they not take much effort but it'll complete Marth's beginning of the game squad like they did with Awakening and Fates. Camus has his Gradivus for his specials so there's no way the other horse chars can replicate that and somewhat have specials of their own I will be so pleased if that's the case.

Barst was doomed to begin with Ogma's another sword and unless Navarre's a villain OR they're willing to give Marth 10 spots he's screwed.

That's a grand total of 9! (8 if Navarre is a villain) just as much as Fates. That's 4 lances plus an archer. Do you know how easily that would get rid of the too many swords issue (Since it seems to far outclass the other classes in terms of numbers right and Lyn doesn't help with the issue) It lines up perfectly!

They also have relationships to Marth so they wouldn't be out of place. Together including Navarre (who can be a villain recruited by Caeda in story btw), Tiki, Marth and Caeda. That's a grand total of 9! (8 if Navarre is a villain) just as much as Fates. That's 4 lances plus an archer.
