    Unchanged Raven body is unchanged. The hair and headband on the first aren't impossible, but they would seem to make more sense on a face facing further right (left opv). The other two have good looking heads. Hairdo's are too different for me to decide which I like better. Are the faces somewhat original, or am I starting to forget splicing parts?
  3. Partially bald sprites seem to look good. Based on the two that I've seen. Nice chibi, though the ear seems to be attached to the neck in it. Is the bald part of her(?) head tattooed?

    Pretty sure it's your call. You still have 4 days, I believe. new show and due dates should be reflected in the OP to avoid unnecessary stress and premature hype

    The right looks more correct to me. What shape is the forehead, and why is the shadow wider as it goes towards the hair?

    bridge of the nose should be lower- along the eyeline about- I think. Also, the eyes look like they're a bit further up her head than halfway.

    He or she has a longer eye than I've seen on any existing Fire Emblem sprite. Rennac is at a slightly different angle, but he might be a good reference if you can't find a better one.
  10. This is a ways off, but can I recommend diversifying the unit types of dragons? Make some have double range, make some deal magic damage, etc? Maybe at Dracozombies. The last chapter's pretty plain in game
  11. I'm impressed this continent having the stability and collective resources to invest in so many giant bridges. The really long narrow channel on the left of the map seems geographically improbable. Don't see any technical errors.

  13. Yeah, fancy lance. This makes me think fe gba having weapon look be determined by weapon equiped (like in PoR and RD) would be really cool.
  14. Ooh. Throwing knives. Me gusta. Who animated that? I've played: One that hacked sacred stones, One with Lee as the main character, and two with Kalath as the main character I think. I liked the good balance of weapon types I got in Lee's. There seems to be a good balance here as well.
  15. This is the 6th at least. Guess I'll use this to get back into playing hacks. Haven't been disappointed by any of the last 6 or so patches of yours I've tried. EDIT: Woah. Fixed Growths mode. When I try to patch the fixed mode patch to my rom it, it says it doesn't match (the v1.25fix patch patched fine). EDIT 2: Patched anyways. Is Gara's first level up on fixed just hp, and the entire left side on the second level up? Pretty enjoyable so far. Freakin placeholders though. [spoiler=grammatically] Much should be many.

    I need to check more than just "my content" on this site. Quality splices. Good level of originality (lookingness) to them, passable as new people and all. How much costuming do you typically do when splicing (for the non splicing contest ones)? Is there a lot of free hand or just adept augmentation of IS's sprites?
  17. One reason new hackers don't receive a lot of help, especially before progress is shown, is the sheer number of new hackers who fizzle out, and leave nothing to show. This has the potential to add up small efforts. If newbies decide they like hacking, and have some confidence they'll go far enough to have something to show, they can spring off into their new project. Alternatively, once newbies put in the time, I'd like to think they gain a greater say in the project's direction. tl;dr This has the potential to produce something from short term efforts, and newbies, project managers, and the community all have something to gain from it.
  18. Most people, when they make their stuff open source, ask for credit. Open source just means others can use and build on it as they please. Even for a small amount of work, (Though I'm not sure if he was asking to be asked before these are used, or just notified when they are. The former would be a little cumbersome, but not totally ridiculous.) @Baldo45, you'll eventually have to put those into the insertable format (tutorial available in ROM hacking tutorials). Posting that format will save others who want to use your work some time.
  19. Nice maps sprites. What classes are lizard people going to be? Abusing helmets? Keep up the good work.
  20. The ettard handle and blade don't seem to line up. I'd reference how the mercenary battle sprite is shaded (esp. the legs) to correct shading issues. Eliwood or hector would be good references for the cape. Splicing and recolouring, rather than customing may have been easier for some of those pieces.
  21. I'm not claiming NICKT's wrong, but a lot of the fe battle sprites I've perused have a surrounding black outline on top of darker shades as you go outwards. A lot of interesting, original stuff here. Keep it up.
  22. Sexy. Are the shoulder pads supposed to be the same size? The far one seems a lot smaller to me, even accounting for distance.The torso doesn't seem that sideways, but the close shoulder pad seems to have a significantly bigger bump
  23. I'd have him do all his magic shit before he moves his sword, or utilize the one of the sets of lifted sword frames for the magic part. The stance right before his lunge always looked weak/odd to me.
  24. I'd add gradations to battle sprites too, as they range from spliced to full custom as well. Hell, all those categories could vary in skill level. We could also be rated by each other if we volunteer and are not too worried about hurt feelings. Also, my spriting topic, if that's needed: http://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=25606 (if we're not going by the poll, Portraits: D, Maps: C, Battle Sprites: B, Animating said battle sprites: B? that's more either you know what you're doing or you don't) And map sprite sprinters, few as there may be, is another type. Chibis as well, if they're not thrown in with mugs. Hell, we've got a wide enough set of skills on here, might as well include the entire community (as in hackers too).
