  1. From a strictly logical/spatial stand point, I think the spin would make sense the other way. It's also awkward how much the soldier takes tiny steps instead of just stepping back for power like the general does.

  5. Animations looks good. Dodge on the guy could use some repositioning. Screws with perspective/determining what's closest to the camera right now. Maybe more frames on it too to make it smoother. As is right now, though, apart from the dodge neither would stick out of a hack in a bad way.
  6. lovin it. The archer is just so original. I guess that'd be one of the advantages of not splicing everything.
  7. Sheep herder seems like it could be a really cool unit. Sheep rider would also do.

Instead of exclaimations meant to advance the plot, the characters seem to be contributing what they would actually say in such situations. I'm already a big fan of green tunic. Stoked on the patch.
  9. On the dodge: He leans towards the side of the foot that he lifts. In real world physics that double means falling over.
  10. I don't know how many options there will be made readily available for changing the length and width, but you can check the size the 7x demos currently use. Inserting battle sprites will be easier in all likelihood, and definitely not the same.
  11. Subjective ranking of characters by value to the run, and why if you really need to fill the time.
  12. I like the chucking critical (gag or not, I like the work, especially on such an unconventional animation sequence). The arm bounce still looks unnatural to me. Like, have you seen people's arms do that?

  14. I really like the idea of making variants of animations, particularly to incorporate different body types. And you're an excellent choice for the job.

  16. =D. Appropriate hype. Haven't seen any XNA projects other than 7x itself. Are there many others who've earned Yeti's early favour?

    7x Louise? Her hair is blocking her neck is making me think weird things about its width. I really like the changes between the Velia mugs. Fiora is Elibe fiora and gonna be in 7x too, right?

  20. Percival's been using mostly swords I believe.
  21. The answer to that, like everything else on this thread I believe, is yes. I don't know if Yeti's programmed it in himself, but that doesn't seem like something that'd be difficult to program yourself at all.
