For Three Houses, I felt that teleporting villains was more of a crutch than in other games. All the major antagonists have to some degree making certain scenes feel cheap. Raising more questions.

For me what do both of them have in common is: Losing their family due to crest related events. Putting disguises to convince people Willing to lie to the public, Have the crest of Seiros Willing to change society But the thing that gets me the most is that one of Edelgard's biggest arguments against Rhea is the latter lying about the history of Fodlan. Yet Edelgard is willing to lie to the public about a town's destruction on a drop of a hat. And this is never brought up again same with the Flame Emperor. I'm unsure if this is a writing issue or intentional with Edelgard herself. Then again in her ending having an "unseen war" with TWSITD feels that she lacks self-awareness.

For my 600 day milestone, I choose to have another attempt at the Shimousa 2. My bad luck streak has been broken with another copy of Raikou. More power is always nice, especially for her.

Pretty sure the other summoner died despair due to a desire to wanting Arya. Yet, he got pity-broken by copies of Leo’s with no Arya to boot.

A more focused story. Three Houses have the most elaborate world in Fire Emblem history creating so many details. But at the same time feel that certain notes are underdeveloped or forgotten. One or Two main pathways give more attention to the narrative. Reworking the avatar. For some reason, each Fire Emblem game wants a more and more powerful avatar in each game. I can take that Mark was a mysterious traveler. Kris being one of the best footsoldiers in Marth's army is a bit pushing it. While Robin is designed to be the vessel of Grima, he relies more on his brains. Corrin is nutty being a daughter of a super dragon, having a special sword, being destined to do great things. But Byleth? He makes them all tame in comparison. What pushes it for me is able to time travel and bend space-time. At that point, Byleth is basically invincible. Fire Emblem is not a series for these kinds of characters. Also being the center of the story weakens the lords. Better pre-release. For a year and a half after the first trailer, there was nothing new about the game only speculating. Thankfully the year before it released had information by the new week. Happy that it is nowhere near a drama train as Fates was. Better first impression. I know that Fire Emblem isn't known for being a graphics powerhouses but my first impression was that it was an upscaled ps2 game with unrefined artwork. the highschool setting didn't appeal to me. Sure the time skip dropped most of those ideas, but still affect the game. Commit to ideas. Corrin was a wishy-washy main character trying to both avatar and her own character doing either well. Alm could have been more than a goodie two shoes. Edelgard tried to be a protagonist and villain at the game time not being effective enough judging by the polls. If IS wants to sell on an idea they better go along with it More focused design. What 3 Houses was lacking the strategy need to complete levels. When there are so many options available for players to use (more so in 3h), how does level prevented from being cheesed?

Completed all the Chambers with a build of: b Alm+5: Dracofalchion, Rally Up Atk+, Ruptured Sky, Scendscale, Renewal, Spur Spd/Res, and Flashing Blade 3 Celica +3: Ragnarok (ref), Rally Up Res+, Blazing Light, Death Blow 4, Watersweep, Drive Def, and Attack/Def Mae +3: Book of Orchids (ref), Rally Atk/spd, Moonbow, Swift Sparrow 3, Chill Atk 3, Atk Opening, and Atk/spd 2 Boey +2: Inscribed Tome (ref), Rally Spd/Def+, Lgnis, Fury 4, Guard, and Pulse Smoke Brave Alm was my best unit followed by Mae, Celica, and Boey. I blame the skill pool for the lackluster performance. I wish to see this mode return again.

Lif finally bit the dust, that took a while. I hope the 2nd Breidablik is a hit for a new feature for book 4. Bigger summon circles? Every orb summoning two heroes? Next up the confrontation with Hel. She needs to get another one of those death makers again.

The highlight of my free summon and tickets is Ophelia (+hp -res). Next, I need to find a +atk version of her.

For me, it's Between Heaven and Earth. While another 3-way fight makes not much sense story-wise. That track certainly makes up for it. As for the final map theme, I choose A Funeral of Flowers. Mainly for setting up the tone of the map. It's not supposed to feel heroic, but a tragic ending.

Wow, we reached the last of the weekly revival summons. I'm surprised I didn't get any free 5*. Wonder what will happen next to these units. Where there be another rotation up to next year? More units are demoted making the pool even bigger? These units be in a semi-retired status? Will there be a gen 2 weekly revival summons? All these questions hopefully can be answered soon.

Fire Emblem in the past that stories where the goal has been completed, but the game continues. Zephiel and Conquest come into mind. But for the Crimson Flowers case, how can the finale of fighting a super dragon on top of a burning city be topped? Unless TWSITD is going to fire missiles on everyone in the endgame.

About the endings of 3 Houses:

The only thing I can come up with is that IS want 3h banners on months where they don't have to give more freebies from that game. Since the other villains have less screentime. Or that IS cranks up the powerlevels after demand comes to get more summons.

Nice to see Silque make it into the game. Other than that I'm going to skip the banner. Odd Catria alt.

With 70 orbs I got another copy of B Lucina +hp -spd. Hopefully the next time she will be on rate up I can get a +attack or +speed boon. I need to not summon for a while; the next legendary banner interests me due to the lineup.

I think that holds Rhea back from being more popular is being a not being a playable unit. On top of her involvement in the post-time skip where she is an extremist or irrelevant with no in-between. Which is a shame considering she is one of the most important characters in the story.

I don't believe so. Ashe got 458 votes compared to Byleth's 572. It just that there are 8 other characters in the 600-400 range. Edit: Nevermind
