I am really thinking if i get a good B skill on mist, shes coming home. so far she has Blade+, Atk/Spd Push 4, Lull Atk/Res and she was one of those units i would have loved to have. just never was able to. will see. (I think if i got Fury tome (and LND4 instead of push) - i would do it

Might right now has (Spendthrift obviously). I do intend to make a Smoke bomb Norne (using Clarisse's Bow/Def Smoke ) with her native lull just to be fun. NY Corrin's bow for support purposes in arena. (i need to get her joint drive atk or spd - i merged up my Lilith and Anna - don't regret it but i do need a copy for Norne now). if Joshua's bow impacted spd/def not spd/res i'd have gotten that for her too. I hope you do Maaka 🙂 you helped me build her - i can't wait to see yours. (and thanks!)

Actually. Seeing how Chrom is all by himself in October, no one in August is gonna be joining him. and it would be six months from Edelgard's release. that could be when Dimitri appears. Leaving ______ to be colourless? Me personally i want a legendary staff. i don't care who it is - i just feel that they'd have great healer food. other than you know dazzle/wrathful - they have to for the special and the assist to score so high.

Right? I mean the "only" downside is that it reduces the cooldown by two. Chances are Norne will never have a Prf - but my hope is if she ever does it's Spendthrift-esque in nature. (I need one for Spring Loki and for Python (and if Ashe/Ignatz demotes one for them too). LOL Micaiah is one of those units. she's either gonna obliterate you - or she'll be obliterated. I've been trying to make a Life and Death micaiah for some clears - because i need to compensate for removing atk/res oath because she'll need ground orders/guidance. she's really, really fun.

I have to say. Norne is approaching Myrrh Levels of Love here. I need a Dagger version of Norne. Byleth also has magic. she(he) could wield a Tome (and the other wields sublime creator sword). truthfully. (this is just me) i'm not really caring if we get more swords. most heroes/lords have swords. they missed their shot with making a lot of the OCs swords (but even then. don't really care) - and it's simply due to the fact in my head, you pick the ones you like, fodder the rest (which is why it seems most of the red units have tier 4 skills, dc, and the like so if you do get them. it's pretty easily good to go).

Hullo, Hullo, Hullo! A Lot to Unpack, so Let's Get Started! Altina and her boys Ike and Roy have divorced, but all three have been punted into 2021. So if you want any of them, this would (clearly, obviously be the best time to do so). Eir is in October - Legend locking it up. Hel will be with Edelgard in October (a three month stint for the both of them, I'm gathering the game is going back to a 90 day return for newest Mythics/Legendaries instead of the 120 day hiatus as Hel is in deed 90. If Edelgard is on your radar at all - i would prepare for October because I think Edelgard would then be shifted to 120 days). Tiki is November, Fjorm is gonna be at home with a return in cold February. Altina being moved to a 6 month span (already). is Surprising but this November she will be a year old. So it looks (if we want to try to guess anything) - the game is giving you two-three chances for a "quick" chance a them - and then moving most to a six month span to try to create more space for regular Heroes? We'll see as time goes by. August going into September is going to be such an Orb Drain - if it's not the Special Banner, it's CYL (Fodder or +10ing). and if it's not that it's 1/2 Anniversary and if its not that - it's Double Special Heroes time. (September will have Heir's of Light respark, a New Hero Banner). much going on. And as we can see - August's banner is looking pretty darn good. Red: Eirika Hrid ??? I would plant Midori right here - which in my estimation makes Red pretty damned solid. Spendthrift Bow/Close Foil is amazing fodder for every archer in the game bar none (and with Julian giving us another option for close foil - that's basically what I would do. save Midori for archers, stock up on Julians for anyone else who would benefit from it). If Midori happens to have a Heroes W/Banner we're looking at Fallen Julia. (Fodder: Atk/Spd Solo 3, DC, spendthrift bow/close foil/double rally+ or atk/res solo 4/panic smoke) Blue Naga Julia ??? Nils slides very nicely here.(if there is no repeat on CYL banners - Brave Eliwood - he that was skipped can slide in here as well). It's just a theory but this is what i'm going with, showing my work We've had Chrom(Blue/Water), Edelgard (Green/Fire), Seliph (Red/Earth) So Colourless/Wind makes sense here. (If October wasn't legendary locked i would have pushed him there - and truthfully that lines up for Dimitri being set for October/December (water season), having all 3H Lords done in the year). However if it's not Claude - I'm going for once again Legendary Staff Unit. It's time. and I'd reckon it's Elincia.or Male Corrin. ---------------------- Double Special Heroes also Returns this month and we're looking at Valentine's and Spring Festival Special Heroes with one exception. Red: NY!Anna, Spring!Idunn Blue V!Rudulf, Spring!Narcian (4* focus does apply here) Green V!Alm, Spring!Fir Colourless V!Faye ....... Spring Bruno/Picnic Genny Fodder Wise Double Rally/Fortune Bow (Temari Like Bow), Stance 4 Skill (Sturdy Stance 3), Lull Atk/Spd & Rouse Spd/3, Atk/Spd Solo & Air Orders, Tier 4 C Skill (Threaten Atk/Def), Gilt Fork, Impact Bow/DB4 and..well. Healer Food. I really don't think they are gonna lump three duos on one banner. So i'm going seasonally what would make the most sense for this banner. and it's either Spring Bruno/Picnic Genny came to mind (I'm leaning more towards Bruno than I am Genny). I think.. (really) the only true tossup is them doing something funky w/Red. October will be the Start of it All/Brides combination and so the big question is who does Caeda share with. Marth (again) or Bride Oboro (or even Summer Joshua). Sooner or later the 4* Focus units are gonna double up anyway. so... these banners might not just a Lump "here's the entire banner" either but more mixing. we'll have to see. They are coming for our orbs. (I didn't even address Sothis's weird placement. you know it's gonna be something. awesome). Be ready.

It could work. This is what I would do if i had a +res Iike Mirror Stance 3 could be swapped out for Bracing Stance 3 (giving him more def/res on enemy), or Kestral Stance (atk/spd), - but if you give him the guard effect that works. Swift Stance gives him more spd res on enemy phase, and if you keep him alone -rouse spd/res 3 works very well. Special spiral to get Radiant aether ready to go. but you could also do Lull Atk/Spd, Lull Atk/Def. (I don't know what you have on your ike - i do know people like that "Thanos Ike" build. but that could require a breath to get it down one? (sorry. i don't use ikes (or breaths)so i'm not sure specifically what they do. :) hopefully this helps!

Fiora before Nils surprises me. kinda wanted a Guard Lance for Ferdie - hopefully i can get one of her on a pity break - Bernie is not this month. thank the mother. my hope was truly if CYL was a wash i could try getting some Colourless hits on the Legendary, and Bernie merges would be great. Miss out on Leila but it's okay (I think ths is corrin's third repeat on a legendary though)

once i get this month's forma, i could use it on one but i kinda don't wanna waste it. I'm kinda ticked i did for cecilia but she did have good stuff - Fiora more than makes up for it though.

Day 1: Mist: Atk/Spd Push 4. Soren: Vessel of Cheer Ike: Rally atk/spd+ Greil: Nothing. not sure if i'm going to Soul Up anyone here. Mist is really pretty, and out of the entire banner the one i wouldn't have minded getting. Soren is Meh - because Reinhardt will forever exist and L'arachel too. (I do have a +1 Sylvain (who is good), and Olwen who is good too, so it really depends on what else Mist ends up getting. but i am hopeful we get some grail units or something. so..

Well I promoted my first Naesala today. I am not the biggest fan of the beast units but maybe Naesala can help me change my mind. (and once again. Cordelia (or some other unit i need to slow up merge, loses out). I needed to do it because of the guide - RB is getting stupidly difficult. I could barely do it as it is. but again. I know Naesala is really good so it's not that big of a deal per se

Well Three Houses is tied with Shadows of Valentia as my favourite Fire Emblem ever. I didn't expect that to happen when i first saw trailers which was basically "So it's Fire Emblem meets Hogwarts?" I think (to date) I have over 600 hours played in this game. and I keep wondering if it's time to go back to Fodlan and do things differently. It's not perfect - just like no fire emblem game is perfect, but i enjoy it very much. They've developed a cast that is very nuanced and human. None of them are perfect. they all have their faults - none of their faults are washed away and it's not "Oh and we're perfect happily ever after." There are deep seeded reasons why everyone is the way they are - some more heartbreaking than others - and I enjoy the growth of discovering them.. Also some of the realizations when you don't recruit some of the students is heart breaking. for example, I never recruited Linhardt and Ferdinand on my first playthrough - and someone I barely even interacted with, the way they died was like. ughh. and then Dorothea's "They were our friends, professor." just cut you to the quick in ways you don't begin to realise. Unlike other FE, where you are up against bad guys, trying to stop other bad guys - these are people you know. It might even be your best friend - but you are both doing what you think is right. It isn't for some seat/quest for power (maybe), or for money or anything like that. The reveal of the Flame Emperor still shocked the spit out of me the first time I discovered it (Golden Deer Route) trying to solve the riddle of what Claude was was intriguing, going through the rollercoaster of Dimitri's descent into madness was taxing (emotionally), and - well for me personally playing as Edelgard made me feel dirty because i 100 percent thought (and will always think) she's wrong. and I feel the game never really hides from any of the dirty. No one excuses Dimitri's behaviour. They understand it, they want to help him through it - but they never handwave it away. People question if Edelgard is doing is right - but they have to commit to it and hope that she is. People call out Claude a lot of the time. No one is ever painted innocent as the freshly driven snow and it makes you think. I personally feel if the game had a bit more time (ie: a year). I think a lot of the extra stuff would have been included in the main game. and a lot more fleshed out. (ie: Cindered Shadows i think would have been included, a bit more of Those who Slither in the dark, and so on and so forth.(and you have this feeling like if this was Zelda - it would have had the time it needed because goodness knows if a Zelda game has ever been released on time). Fódlan is a world that I am actually sad that we'll never return to. I don't think we'll ever get a sequel because the game might have to canonize a route. they could do a prequel -i suppose. but i'm not sure. So if this is supposed to be it, - quite frankly, it was a fantastic stop in my opinion, even with the flaws.
