Kingdom Hearts series creator Tetsuya Nomura was recently interviewed by a Japanese magazine called Young Jump. The main points of the interview include: Nomura watching KH YouTube videos to keep track of the series Kingdom Hearts IV and Missing Link are, in Nomura's mind, a "reset" to the series for newcomers Nomura only has a few years left until he retires, so he wants KH4 to be a story that leads to a conclusion

I just remembered that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe never added a Luigi-themed race course and the closest thing but has is the Luigi’s Mansion battle map from Double Dash.

A gaming franchise becoming as huge as it is (like Mario and Pokémon, just for a couple examples) should be enough of a reason for the companies who own them to be much less protective. ...Just don't go too crazy with it, like with Double Dragon.

Quality of the game aside, asset reuse is actually kind of a good thing when making a sequel, since it gets the game done faster.

With the Booster Course Pass all said and done and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in general being the best-selling game in the entire Mario franchise, I think it's more than safe to say that the next Nintendo console is absolutely going to see another Mario Kart game. So, I wanted to spark a discussion thread where we share all of our hopes and dreams for the next game. Whether they be characters, tracks, etc., what are your hopes and dreams for the next Mario Kart game? For me: A single-player Adventure Mode in the style of Crash Team Racing and Diddy Kong Racing Dynamic music changes for each lap / section of a track 48 tracks at launch Track design more in the vein of Ninja Hideaway and Squeaky Clean Sprint, mostly for the nitro tracks A character roster that dives deeper into Mario's own history, along with the Mario-adjacent series Coins as currency for things like character costumes and kart parts and not as an item Character-specific items earned through a meter filled by tricks An art style closer to Super Mario Odyssey; something that mixes realism with vibrant colors

KH is doing a Steam giveaway to celebrate the launch of the Steam ports of the series.

For the actual SGF this year, I’m hoping for two things: 1. A new KH4 trailer 2. Nintendo does their June Direct the literal Wednesday (6/5/24) before SGF starts (6/7/24) (half-joking with this bullet point)

Chain Attacks in Xenoblade 3 are so good that I wish Kingdom Hearts 3's team attacks worked in a similar fashion.

I just graduated from college and I’m considering getting it off of Amazon sometime later.

What characters do you hope get a new Final Smash in the next game? Personally, I want Daisy to get a Final Smash based on the Elephant transformation from Wonder.

Between this, Sonic x Shadow Generations and Sonic movie 3, it looks like SEGA are pushing Shadow harder than they ever have before.
