I like doing what I call a "Scavenger Run" where you aren't allowed to buy items/weapons, I also don't use the forge personally but that's just me. In this run you can only use weapons you get from drops, steals, villages, or recruits also having Volke open a chest is banned too since that costs you gold every time, although admittedly that doesn't really factor into RD like it does PoR

In addition to everything else said FE6 has two route splits so youre gonna have to do a second playthrough if youre going for all routes like you said at the beginning.

Not to derail the thread but I never really knew about Cipher and was curious about the inverse of this question, are there any other Cipher OCs that didn't make it into the main series?

I've been thinking the same thing about Anna and Jake for ages! Just have the two of them show up on a random map saying they're traveling during their honeymoon would be really cute and silly, they could also just have it be a different version of the two every time since there are infinite Annas anyway. And speaking of Kaga I would also love if they brought back Xane consistently like Kaga wanted to do with Emblem Saga, as a divine dragon he has an in-universe reason as to why he doesn't age and since he's naturally a trickster you could make him any kind of class and just say he's messing around at the time.

I'm glad the show is back too, but the reason for the break was so scummy it's left a sour taste in my mouth.

It's always so sad whenever anyone passes, even if we didn't know him he had a profound impact on so many people that alone creates a bond. Even though he was young he also lived many long years both as a creator and not so we can find some solace in the fact that he had lived. I keep thinking about the reputation Dragon Ball has as a meaningless braindead series and I just think about what it means to me, so even if the show had no depth at all it was fun so it meant something to me at least. It brought so much fun to me, my brother, my cousins, my friends, and my parents and so many more people in the world. I like to believe that Toriyama was happy knowing that he has brought so much joy to so many in the world through his work. In the meantime let's hope his friends and family get through this difficult time and remember to cherish the people in your own lives so that they know you love them.

Of the characters I mentioned I'm only certain of the Lon'qu analog, although maybe one of the other two was Nowi, not entirely sure about the other two because it has been so long. Maybe I filled in Sumia and Henry since they're similar to Cordelia and Tharja respectively. As for names used, I really can't remember, if I did it would probably answer the first question since I remember them using anagrams like the Hoshido-Awakening kids, so maybe for Lon'qu, it was Qulon or something. Either way, though I appreciate you giving it a shot, especially since it's not anything important.

First I want to apologize if this isn't the right place to post this, I'm still not entirely sure. Also since it was roughly a decade ago I may misremember some details. This feels like a fever dream but I remember during the lead-up to Fates we were getting updates about the game through Famitsu I would fairly regularly look for the leaks whenever they would come out, since I was in middle school at the time I was also not great at finding them, because of this I would stumble upon a couple of fake ones and there's a very specific one that has stuck with me since then because I thought it looked interesting. Shortly after the reveal of child units, I believe I saw Rhajat, Caeldori, and Asugi leaked, I saw a different leak emulating a Famitsu page that showed designs for Nohr children based off I believe Lon'qu, Sumia, and Henry. Obviously the "leak" was fake but I still just want to see it again to reminicse and because I thought the mock up was pretty good anybody knows what I'm talking about or can find it I'd appreciate it.

Looking at online posts the Lumiose is the entire map, but I didn't get any hints on the time period. Honestly after hearing that I'm leaning towards cautiously optimistic, either way though we all have to wait for more info to have any real opinions. Sidenote; does anybody else think it would be funny if the game was set during the Pokémon equivalent of the French revolution

I feel the same way, the spin-offs just haven't been as engaging for me lately, but the legends announcement got me hyped because of the possibilities. We could get so much out of this like new megas, the power plant, east kalos, lore, new mysteries, and cool side characters. Also based off the trailer saying Lumiose City is undergoing reconstruction I believe this game may be set in the future contrasting Arceus being in the past. All in all this one release just has me so excited!
