Well, considering the alternative to having FE:if was not having FE at all due to sales going down the drain at an increasing rate, then yes, I'm fine with FE's direction. And yeah, none of the games are particularly innocent. Not saying Awakening is better in that aspect, but fanservice isn't just about chest bits. Exposed legs and whatnot can count (Hi Lyn and Karla especially).

Uh, compared to how Genealogy of the Holy War pulls it, Awakening is far more "date-sim" like. The Avatar is only one part of the equation. Genealogy was a lot more down low about it, barring a few conversations like Dew and Raquesis's. Come Gen 2, the lovers aspect is practically non-existent unless you go out of your way for it to some extent.

I'm more sad than hateful because those songs were great. Even games like Final Bout and Ultimate Battle 22, which were trash, had great music. You know about that Frieza returns movie?
