    Actually, Gaiden and Sacred Stones /always/ used Revenants and Entombed as grinding scrubs. I agree on the Risen being palette swaps being lame. How unnerving would it have been if Risen were in the forms of the children characters' parents? Would've been a better use of the idea, similar to how the Deadlords in Thracia were. (If you either sucked or avoided 24x like the plague)

    I'm sorry, but as much as I love Thracia, Fergus has no trouble tearing through generals. If he is, something is very wrong. Give him a killing edge and watch his PCC of 5 kick in on the second attack. Particularly if Karin is nearby and not RNG screwed. Also scrolls. Meanwhile, lance users were shafted hard with the forced dismounting (Dean comes to mind especially) and let's not forget that Pavise stopped /any/ attack when it kicked in, magic or otherwise. And then the generals the player can use get massively screwed when the game shoots out 'Zerkers with hammers.

    Not to mention SMT gets far darker than FE typically does, the Jugdral games not withstanding. Don't hold FE's story on some kind of pedestal.

    I'll be quite frank: For a long while, I was very middling about Ike. I didn't love or hate. He was just there. But seeing you constantly shove the guy in our faces vastly decreased any good will I had toward the character. I visibly facepalmed at the topic title. I get the enthusiasm over 10th anniversary, but really, the games themselves are a bigger deal than the "lord" in question.

    Well you do have to remember that Amiibos use the typical protocol for Near-Field Communications devices. This is actually something that really doesn't surprise me. I agree that I'm not sure exactly how they did it, but it's not as impressive as one may think.

    Smash 64's international sounds had the most punch to them.

    Glad FE4 and 5 got some small representation finally in the Meeting Theme Medley. And FE4 in the Coliseum Series Medley. Also Tearing Shadows isn't in the Mystery of the Emblem Medley because it's not New Mystery of the Emblem. It's just FE3.

    Why reference Grunia? Hm. Maybe El Camuso was set to make another appearance! ...Nah, not really. But in all seriousness, keeping in mind that aside from Anna, the characters who've shown up in the most games are the Whitewings and Camus. Grunia (Or Grust rather) being hidden really doesn't surprise me. xD

    Until Atlus and IS say it's canned, it's not canned. Folks need to remember Atlus can and will be quiet up until the months preceding a release, after which there's a deluge of info. Learn patience peeps.
