What kind of problems do you get? Do you mean it doesn't work at all?

Good lord, somehow we got pushed all the way to page two! I saw that and thought "gee, that's no good!". So I went and fudged a bunch of screens together. This has been done for a while but a number of "bugs" (the plot twist is that they weren't bugs) stalled progress and wrecked motivation for a little while. Oh, and the check out that new battle frame! Thanks be to Lord Glenn for the graphics and Jubby for the insertion. They're both saints. Well, not Glenn. But Jubby is.
I don't know about that >;)
I love the 5th screen, the empty HP bar looks like it's part of the template :3

because the sprites they're making are showcased in their games ergo they don't want to show them before they appear in screenshots.
I don't see why more people don't post the sprites after they're shown in screens, though; then people could still give suggestions and C&C and all that loveliness.

Just so you know, I've had some problems playing certain hacks on my native GBA flash cart (It's an EZ Flash IV if anyone cares) that I think might have something to do with ZSE.
I really haven't tested it to make sure it's actually ZSE that's causing the problem, but it's the only thing I can really think of (It's worked with ROMs that used FEditor, NM, EA, GBAGE, almost every hacking tool but ZSE, so it seems likely that that's what's causing the problem...)
Just thought you might like to add that to your list of known "issues" :P It won't affect VBA emulation at all but there are a few people (like me) who care :3

I think it kills the portrait a bit too so I might dull that palette a bit - I want to see how it looks with FE8 colours, first though :P

and @Dan yes (I didn't think unfinalized colour theft was a big deal but I'm soooorryyyyy :( ) I borrowed your purple till I could come up with a different neutral colour.. I think I'm going to use a similar kind of shade just with like more greeey in it. :P

Thank you for patiently waiting; I present you with a screenshot.
(credit to Cam for the original battle frame, I did some palette swapping and splicing to fit it in a statsheet but I'm pretty sure the graphical genius is all his)
I'm not done inserting the new statsheet, but that particular page has most of its components in place, so a teaser if you please.
Anyway I've kind of taken a break from this for like... a few months, I guess, and I'm much refreshed and energized to be working on it again. Hopefully progress will be a little steadier now, but if not, I think I've got 2 months or so left of full time work, and then I'll be back in school, so I'll have more time to work on it then.
I think this break's been really great for this project, I've got a ton of new ideas for the structure of the hack and I just feel like my creativity's coming back, and I certainly have a lot more ideas that I actually like than I did when progress sort of ground to a standstill. I've got some big things planned that I've never really seen in FE before, and I'm excited to share them with you all. Thanks again for the support <3

Yeah I'd definitely like to at least showcase the MU selection and do an interview. Whether there'll be anything else will kinda depend on my work schedule and stuffffff

I'm getting the laptop in the next couple months sometimeand lol it should be somewhat balanced. I'm trying to make it so that it's advantageous in different chapters to choose different MU's. FOR EXAMPLE: the first chapter is rather large and terrain-y, so it may be advantageous to take a flier. The next chapter might have narrow passages in favour of archers, etc.

Its alive but I've mostly stopped working on it till I get a laptop. (Although with FEE3 looming we shall see)

I'll be a definite maybe. I had decided I wasn't going to work on my hack till I got a laptop, because the desktop is a pain in the ass, but for FEE3, I'll see what I can do.
I do have most of the events at least halfway done after all
