  1. Ah, I see, I didn't remember those parts, I'm taking this mostly off my head, since it was such a long time I last played this. You are right, messengers would be worthless because Daein was fighting because of the blood pact. In that case, wouldn't the blood pact make Begnion be the aggressor? After all, it's a ticking bomb of a spell, one that can kill innocent civilians without any chance of healing or protection and put any king under the Senate's thumb, essentially ripping a nation from it's sovereignty. And they are forcing Daein to fight. Of course, Daein's mobilization against it is much more tangible and visible, thus making it much easier for the others to point them as aggressors starting another war. Even if they are shown to remain violently racist, a new leadership could change that. Although I don't remember Pelleas' stance on that. After WWII Germany and Japan were closely observed, of course, but they also had their own new leaders who worked to change the damage done by the previous ones. Instead Begnion tricks Pelleas into a blood pact, and it was not even for the safety of the world. See Naesala and his tribe. Hardly the foundations that would help them change their behavior. I really don't remember Micaiah giving moral lessons to Tibard regarding the Sothe scene. I'm pretty sure she just became desperate of losing him, nothing more, but I could be wrong. Funny thing: Tibard managed to get Sothe, but not Micaiah, the leader, who was right by his side. Why Sothe and not Micaiah? We could say Micaiah would sacrifice herself, but how exactly did Tibard know that Micaiah would do that or that Sothe was that important to her? Maybe he had spies, but I don't remember.
  2. Oh no, I liked her decision. It was a nice contrast to how her character was presented, idealistic and naive, and then a serious, even dark way to mature and see how the power games are played. But she would just put that rebel king on top of the wall and threaten to kill him too if they killed Lucia and then nothing would happen. But the game didn't allow her to stain her honor by doing that and she just had other people call Ike without her knowledge and who of course, arrives just in the nick of time. On a plus side, she kept that guy imprisoned, instead of some silly promise of redemption or loyalty. For Micaiah, Daein would never be able to defeat that army in an open battle, so she prepared an ambush. It was also the most logical choice, but people call her on that as "war crime" pretty frequently. Or at least did back then. Well, we could say then she should have sacrificed Sothe and burned everyone there to keep Daein's position of freedom unharmed and strong, but her decision was a nice contrast to Elincia's, as she couldn't make the sacrifice, as Micaiah is Supreme General or something, and could also pick which subordinate was worth sacrificing or not.
  3. But how was she supposed to know that, specially after what she saw happening in the streets? I would hardly believe someone wasn't going to do anything bad when they amass their entire army, get the world's most powerful mercenaries to join in as well and then march to my borders. It remembered me of those Civ 5 games where I amass my arms at someone's borders, they complain, I say it's just a training exercise and proceed to invade the next turn. The only thing Daein did was get back their own country. Not saying they should have been left alone after the war, that would be silly, but after the occupation forces were defeated, Sanaki, supposedly so much wiser than her age and surrounded by older senators and Sephiran, doesn't even bother sending messengers or diplomats to try to talk (If I remember right). Same thing for Ike. Well, she loved Sothe. Of course that would affect her. Ike would also whine like a bitch if it was the BK doing the same to Mist, Soren or Ranulf. Curiously, Micaiah faltered with this, but Elincia didn't and accepted to sacrifice Lucia, but nobody calls that on her.
  4. I'm sad Hayato got the least favorite spot, as I'm having a blast with him in my PMU run. Not surprised Leo won, though.
  5. Micaiah Fan #93 reporting in. Let's get to 100, guys! Every FE protagonist is a snowflake, some more than others. As much I disliked Micaiah as some kind of goddess at the end of the story, Nohrrin is so much worse. I also loved that chapter that Micaiah attempts that fire trap in the canyon. The entire Begnion army with the Greil Mercenaries are marching to kill, pillage and raze your country, that has no way to fight such a force and people called her a war criminal? Seriously? Yeah, sure, put your 1000 soldiers in the open against dozens of thousands of the enemy and fight honorably! Her love for Daein could have been done better, I agree. And while not exactly a great place to live, it's still her home. She has healing powers and magical fighting abilities. If a foreign country invaded yours and you realize you have healing powers, would you really just sit idly in your home? Or see a kid get shot and just run away? Also, she is probably the only protagonist that doesn't face tank entire chapters and actually need other people's help and sits in the backlines as a supportive unit. She even tries to give power and authority to Pelleas, who is the king, while Nohrrin simply receives all the power on a silver plate from much more experienced people, who also all have more power and authority than him/her.
  6. I bought them from another castle, otherwise it would take too long to reclass a lot of people.
  7. Ryoma and Xander would be fine in a Chrom type of role and Corrin acting like Robin. But here it happened the opposite, being worse because Corrin has absolutely no reason, power or wisdom to be in that role in detriment to his older siblings.
  8. PARALOGUE: SHIGURE TEAM STATS:
  9. Arthur x Ophelia (the chosen heroine learns from the world's most experienced hero), Peri x Rhajat (psycho couple), Kaden x Izana (narcissists. "I have the best hair!" "No,no, my fur is the best!" Passes entire night stroking each other's hair) Ryoma x Selkie (Sonic with Tails), Gunter x Reina (both are mature, mounted units and retainers), Camilla x Hinoka (they had a thing going on...) Rinka x Felicia and Flora (A Song of Ice and Fire) Essentially, more cross-generation supports and same gender, along with a few more from the other country?
  10. I will post Chapter 15 as well, since that Paralogue was really fast and short. ACCESSORIES: CHAPTER 15: TEAM STATS
  11. Almost 2 weeks without updates. Not my fault! Something happened with Cloudflare in my region and it couldn't connect to Serenes Forest. Hopefully everything is fixed by now. I'm some chapters ahead of what I'm posting now, but I guess it wouldn't do if I simply reported a crapload of chapters at once. But I saved all screenshots I took. Some pictures are 2 weeks old and I'm not sure if I will remember everything that happened, but here we go! PARALOGUE 1: (KANA) TEAM STATS:
  12. You must upload the pictures somewhere else, as the forum doesn't accept the format from the Miiverse. I use Postimg then upload them here from there.
  13. Your first two reserves will be: 1) Butler Takumi - since he married Felicia and can now poison Nohriam scum while serving their meals. 2) Kinshi Knight Kiragi - Since you have S with Takumi anyway.
  14. Chapter 14: Light Scatters No accessories upgraded before this chapter. CHAPTER I know Scarlet Witch is already promoted and her stats reflect that at lvl 21, but she was very solid this map, doubling easily and with decent damage. TEAM STATS
  15. Also curious how you are doing in the game. Who did Azura marry and why?
  16. Chapter 13: Another Hope Spreading more accessories around: CHAPTER: TEAM STATS
  17. Yea, I think their supports hint at this. They were all siblings, but except for Corrin, apparently everyone lived a happy normal life, seeing the routine of everyone day after day with Mikoto? You are all there, but there's nothing out of the ordinary apparently going on from the occasional Faceless raid. She apparently is the same with Azura. I think she started thinking "wow, we are at war for real now, what if you die?" If sou see Hinoka/Kaze supports, Hinoka and Sakura communicate through letters. And despiting being a good spear fighter, she and Ryoma apparently never sparred before. In a way, we could say she became a bit obsessed with what she couldn't have (Corrin) and unintentionally didn't pay much attention to those that were always there everyday and that she took for granted would always remain with her. Maybe that's why they made Camilla hit on Hinoka on ch.24. Both elder sisters are obsessed with Corrin, and the other siblings are neglected (Takumi, Azura, Leo). Camilla says the siblings came for her instead of Xander, but on Camilla/Xander support we see he knows pretty well what's going on.
  18. Liar, where are my Sniper Felicia and Hoshido Noble Kana!
  19. This will get better and better from now on. I wonder if blah's sanity will resist until the end.
  20. Chapter 22 of Conquest, with Yukimura exploding and Sakura desperate, and the fact she stayed to fight. I actually liked the beginning. You are able to negotiate with the Ice Tribe, as it is implied you can actually do things differently. Cheve was good too for just mercilessly crushing that silly idea. I was curious about the other world when I saw the animation and then we fought on that floating island, but after the crystal ball everything went downhill. It would have been better if after some time Corrin actually got Garon/Iago trust instead of being chased like that. On BR I liked that Corrin calls Garon out, although it was surreal he would take leadership from Ryoma. The funny thing is that in CQ, except for Takumi, your other siblings are blindly trying to get your back no matter what you do, while in BR you fight, but are able to talk to both Camilla, Leo and Elise about the situation in various occasions while also learning more about them (and without the crystal ball), which made the story better overall. The Hoshido siblings didn't have the same treatment in CQ, unfortunately. While getting to know Camilla, Leo and Elise better was good for the "they were pretty cool guys, I should have stayed with them, or etc", playing very well with the theme of abandoning one family. But we never get that emotional vibe with the Hoshidan siblings that make us think the same. We think "I should have joined them" for the stupidity of the story and Corrin being spineless. On both paths, I liked chapter 5 and 6. I thought they were pretty good in getting an emotional response. Also, this happened after playing the game on both routes at least once. In the first, I played Conquest. I didn't care for the retainers and other characters of Birthright I killed because I didn't know them. When I played BR I felt bad in killing some Nohrian characters. The same happened later when I played CQ again and now knew who was who. Maybe it's a game that was made to grow in time in this aspect. Haven't played REV yet.
  21. 4 GKs and 4 Strategists. Meh, too much repeats. For me it kind makes the game a bit boring and trying too hard to troll. You should change some classes for a bit more variety or you will probably be bored to tears.
  22. 2nd option is out of luck, friends, and is being beaten by FISTS OF JUSTICE!
  23. Sniper Felicia (S with Takumi) EDIT: Well, since everyone is picking up the possible families, go with Hoshido Noble Kana too. Nobody ever picks the poor thing.
