IIRC, SoV's player profile card also had generics available as options for pictures so I wouldn't put much credence in Rodine being there lol
I can just see it. “Hold on Zephia, before we go back to trying to kill each other how about we snap a quick pic?”

She won’t be playable and it will make me sad.

So the time nintendo would usually post a fire emblem trailer has passed and im just wondering whats holding them back, why are they so incompetent
So what are the chance the game just drops without NoA doing anything else?

Considering Rosado is a Wyvern, I’m presuming you’ll just have to get whatever proficiencies I guess if you’re a dude. At least I’m hoping they wont lock non-Rosado dudes out of flying
A lot seems to think Rosado is an exception to the rule.

Don’t forget the random Warrior Lapis at the end of Lyn’s video.
…though I’d put that in the same category of weird reclassing as Swordmaster Etie and Mage Zelkov.
And nothing is saying that they do or don’t have the prof ups from any Emblems.

As I recall, when I asked him about this, the deal about class changing was on the cusp of Ch.8 (not to mention no second seals were available at that time) and thus was in a grey area of discussion; though I suppose framing the question as ‘could a master seal be used to promote to an advanced flier class as a male character’ and get a comparative screenshot for this purpose.
On the point of poison, he thinks that the in combat stats were lowered while under the effect of poison, but wasn’t sure how to check specifically.
Even if second seals aren’t available at that time you should still be able to see the reclass menu and see if male units could be fliers and what that would require.

Let’s us know if they answer the male flier question.

Am I going crazy, or is Rosado really in Sword/Axe Wyvern Knight in NWR video?
Yea, I saw that too… maybe he is Axe/Lance when recruited?

Alear - Confirmed to have blue swords and white fists by previews.
Vander - Confirmed to have blue axes and nothing else from twitter. Allows him to get S rank as a Paladin.
Framme - Confirmed to have blue fists and white staves from twitter.
Clanne - Likely blue tomes. He's been seen as both a Sage and a Mage Knight so it's tough to guess what white one he might come with. I think staves are most likely because his sister has them but maybe he was inspired by Alear to use swords or Vandad taught him how to use an axe.
Alfred - Confirmed to have blue lances and white swords by previews.
Etie - Likely blue bows, we have seen her as a swordmaster so maybe she has swords for easy promotion to bow knight.
Boucheron - Likely blue axes, maybe white bows but we've only seen him as a Berserker and not a Warrior.
Celine - Confirmed to have blue tomes, white swords, and white staves by previews.
Louis - Confirmed to have blue lances and nothing else from twitter. Allows him to get S rank as a General.
Chloe - Confirmed to have blue lances ("First Fire Emblem" trailer shows her with S lance as a griffon which should only have A.) Likely white staves for the griffon knight promotion.
Jean - Probably blue staffs and white fists to make him opposite Framme and he's a doctor-in-training.
Diamant - Likely blue swords and white axes if Alfred's proficiencies are anything to go by.
Jade - Blue axes? I'm not sure with her. I have no idea if she has multiple with lances or which one is blue if she does. I doubt she has swords as that would be too similar to Bunet.
Amber - Probably blue lances for Paladin with S rank. Could be white daggers for wolf knight but seems unlikely because his personality suggests Paladin.
Alcryst - Confirmed blue bow, also seen with white axes but unknown if he starts with it. It's not that strange if he did start with it to match his brother.
Citrinne - Seen as both Mage Knight and a Sage but usually as the latter. Probably blue tomes and white staves as her base strength at a higher level is even worse than Clanne's.
Lapis - Her design and association with blades suggests to me typical merc to axe wielding hero. Profile mentions being surprisingly strong so I'd guess blue axes and white swords.
Yuanka - If thieves could promote she'd definitely be a trickster. Likely daggers, but maybe blue staves given her association with Micaiah.
Ivy - Likely blue tomes and white staves as a counterpart to her younger sister.
Kagetsu - A Swordmaster so he probably just has blue swords and nothing else.
Zelkov - Another thief, I guess just blue daggers.
Hortensia - Likely blue staves and white tomes considering her personal skill.
Goldmary - Confirmed to have B rank lances as a Hero so it must be blue lances and white swords.
Rosado - Confirmed to have A rank in axes and B in lances when seen as an enemy so he must have blue axes and white lances.
Anna - Confirmed to have blue bows and white axes by "First Fire Emblem" trailer. Show that you can have a blue in a weapon type your base class doesn't even use.
Timerra - Likely blue lances of course but might also have white swords to match her brother.
Merrin - Known to use swords as a Wolf Knight so probably blue swords and white daggers.
Panette - She's a Berserker so probably just blue axes.
Fogado - Likely blue bows with white swords for his promotion.
Bunet - Uses swords and axes. Shown with mostly axes in his inventory and only one sword so I'm guessing that's his main weapon and he has blue axes and white swords.
Pandreo - Probably tomes, staves, and fists necessary for his High Priest class. Shown healing in his preview and apparently a "sincere clergyman" so I'm guessing blue staves.
Seadall - Dancer that uses fists so I'd guess blue fists and nothing else.
None officially confirmed as playable but I'll add them just in case
Mauvier - Appears to be a Royal Knight so I think blue lances and white staves.
Griss - Appears to be a Sage so I think blue tomes and white staves.
Marni - Appears to be an Axe General so I think just blue axes.
Zephia - Unique class? Blue swords?
Veyle - Unique class? Blue tomes?Just to add, fairly certain Zephia is a Sword Wyvern but no idea if she has Axe or Lance secondary. Lapis has been shown as Swordmaster and Sword Paladin both are just straight Sword so she might be blue Sword only.

It has been confirmed the Céline can die, which in turn means that only the older royals have plot armor. This makes me worried about how much plot importance the younger royals will have.

Nintendo World Report posted a few screenshots (sorry that I can’t link them as I am on my phone but it should be on the Reddit) and some of them are pretty interesting. Shows off photo mode along with a few death quotes, Celine and Etie’s are notably surprisingly depressing.

Man they really do love the close but no cigar style don’t they?

Yeah I listened to their section on Engage and while hearing the story is iffy, I really didn't have high expectations tbh. I'm perfectly fine with the story being rather basic as long as nothing is really bad and thus far, while many previewers haven't been shy about saying that the story isn't anything special, no one has said its bad and I'm not opposed to a simple story (if anything I'd welcome one after how much 3H discourse drained me and made me enjoy engaging in the fandom less). As for characters, I also don't anything too deep as long as the characters are engaging, I know I'll latch on to some (some of which I already have). Also I'm of the mindset that you really to have to play it yourself before you can really make a solid opinion and thus I'm taking previewers opinions about story and characters with a grain of salt.
Gameplay wise everything seems excellent so regardless of everything else, the game will no doubt feel great to play and look and sound great at the same time so not much to complain about at least for me
I have said it once and I'll say it again... I can enjoy a subpar story.

Now if we get other dragon Milf I’ll be happy.

I wonder, if Engage has New Game+ like Three Houses/Hopes did, would investment levels carry over or would they be reset?
I can see it having an Awakening like post game instead.

I mean, the way the requests are going I expect she'll do clown girl next, but it's as good an attempt as any. Dang, really wish I had a twitter so I could contribute to the Vandad cause...
Also I like the one dork that's asking for Timerra like she wasn't done first lolololololI assume you mean Hortensia? Based on what I have seen she isn’t well liked. While not the best example, take Gamefaqs where there is a character like tier list thread and Hortensia is bottom tier for nearly everyone there.

My plan is just to give him def boosters, pair him with Ike, and call it a day. A character with mercenary stats giving the opponent 15 hit isn't going to dodge shit.
This is my plan too, but I’ll probably keep heavy weapons away from him.

Hm? How is it not accurate?
That said, come to think of it, I can see it synergizes well with Louis' own. Both are Céline's retainers, which means if the three fight together, all three of their skills would be active at all times.
It reminds me of that meme pic with Louis and Chloe next to F Alear and nothing thinking dirty thing about the other two.

I know I'm very slow on this, but it only dawned on me as a literal shower thought earlier today that Echoes added a new DLC class for every pre-existing advanced class. I doubt Engage would do that, but there's absolutely precedent set for a new class per type/ style, particularly if they're willing to give us a mix of returning and brand new classes to make it work, e.g.
Covert - Trickster
Qi Adept - War Monk
Backup - Dread Fighter/ Mortal Savant?
Mystical - Summoner? After all, Lyn already introduces the "created minions" thing.
Armored, Flier, Cavalry - their respective magic variants.I honestly would love Overclass back but... as long as they keep the characters color in it. It was sad having Zeke and Clive looking the exact same as a Skogal.

This post has High Priest as Qi Adept, where did you see it as Mystical? Not saying you're wrong just haven't seen it shared around then.
Vincent's pre-release on the main site here has them as mystic.

Well the wording of "next to the divine dragon" really makes me think Alear is it and we won't get Veyle or Zephia unless they are classified as demon/dark dragon or something.
