Let's start off easy!
Angry Japanese dad fights thugs and gets chased by a funny man with an eyepatch
Yakuza?
How about having many children for child soldiers and labor.

Interesting. I never really saw the characters as one-note, but I can definitely see how one would see them that way.
I've never heard of those latter two series; what are they about?
Kemono Michi is about a professional wrestler that get isekai’d. They want him to kill all the demonic beasts but he is an animal lover who makes to make them all happy pets.
Combatants is about what if a power ranger villain lackey got sent to a medieval world on a mission to conquer it.
I do think Combatants is the best, the main female cast is Snow (she really reminds me of a fusion between Aqua and Darkness), Rose (who is a lot like Megumin but is embarrassed about being a chuuni) and Grimm (She is literally the butt of almost every joke) who is best girl.

Well, I just watched the first (and so far only) episode of the new Konosuba prequel/spin-off about Megumin:Â Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!
My brother introduced me to Konosuba a couple years ago, and I kept watching because it's hilarious. It's cool to see it get more content. One thing I particularly like about this new series is this: it's hard to get a prequel right, and it's hard to get a spin-off that focuses on only one member of the original ensemble cast right; this new series is doing both at the same time, and yet it's really good.
The problem I have with base series (and all of this mankata's) is that the characters are just so one note. I have read and watched Konosuba, Kemono Michi and Combatants will be dispatched but all the characters are pretty same-y and boring. Except Grimm, she is great.

IMO I think it’s more to make them vulnerable, especially on the Xenologues. It means anyone with a rapier can quickly one round them which, amusingly enough, makes them more vulnerable as opposed to stronger when someone gets near.
True it really doesn't do anything for the player's, but helps against them. Made Panette and oddly enough Anna good in FX 5 as both have Hammers.

Yeah, worst case scenario is that even in Maddening you can do FX itself on Normal to get the new units much easier. I imagine having units with 2k SP early on will make build customization easier too.
But even in normal the FX takes awhile and the novelty wears off really quickly.
-
I do think having to play the FX all over again to get them was a bad move. It will make testing them out in the main story all the worst to do.
-
1: it does hint at a spoiler that happens a bit later in the main story but isn’t outright spoiled.
2: 6 chapters, however chapter 5 is rather long and 6 can be long.
Someone will have to answer the others. As I had to stop just after beating it.

It does feel weird that the Mage Cannon is an Armored type as it doesn’t do anything for them.Â
-
I don’t know with the cost of the items, they don’t inspire confidence to experiment.
-
I guess I expected a bit more out of the four winds personality wise. Gregory is just a wisecracking pain avoider, Madeline is super terse and Zelestia is just “team mom”.
-
You are supposed to work up the map. The top area is where you are gonna fight him at. The other spots all have damage -50.

Thanks for answering.
That's a shame. So, after multiple trailers for the base game that promised a dragon protagonist, we finally get an actual dragon, only for it to a) not be the protagonist, and b) be locked behind DLC? I really don't understand IS's thought process.
DLC bait and milking profits? That is usually the answer.
So it seems like based on the join level of the new units, it’s likely you want to do the dlc after completing Solm.

Sorry I think the edits should be fixed now. Doing while working overnights is a little rough >_<
That is why we help each other out right?

And without any spoilers how many new characters do you get? Also are their growth rates, and growth rates of the new classes, available somewhere?
We get 5 characters, that while you can do it as early as chapter 6 then new units come at lv 20.Â

You change the Def stats a bit much in the spoiler:
SpoilerI don’t think Madeline has 127 Def.

I have only played on maddening. I am not sure how it affects normal or hard. But if it is based on squad levels, than 100% will for sure.Â
Based on the Engage page here, it states that you highest leveled 8-12 units dictate skirmishes. So that will hurt.
-
This is such a trap to do after chapter 6, getting 5 lv 20s will immediately throw off Skirmishes on normal and hard.
-
I doubt it, unles someone can say otherwise I think Nel's will just be in the FX and not in the main game.
-
I believe you get your characters but they all have set lvls, classes and inventory. Your rings are kept and you keep any bond lvls you have with them. Also the entire FX is counted as Casual when losing a character.
-
Hey, at least she was playable in the story.

Citrinne and Panette, these two are always fun. Gotta love the disparity between let me give you an Island and here is a rock I found on the side of the road. I do love that Panette is one of the sweetest lasses and that she is that way in spite of her surviving off of bare knuckle brawling.

Is there a unit that has a unique mage knight appearance?Â
Nope only those who come as a class have a unique outfit for it. We don’t get any nat mage knights.
-
Sadly no one, this has been the worse FE in terms of characters I have liked. I know it’s bad when I got the oath ring and never even took it from the drawer you put it it.
I have been having fun with Berserker Citrinne just because. I found it weird she had better Spd and Def over Panette.

If you don't get treasure chests/villages by the end of a chapter, but they remain unlooted/unharmed, can you get the treasure chests/villages from future skirmishes in that location?
I don't think so, I missed a chest in Firene Castle but when I went back for a training mission it was empty.

Sadly, just amplified what I disliked in 3 Houses. Engage is the edge due to the far better graphics and animations. Engage missed a lot of things I wanted but it had more the 3 Houses.

So as far as I know the Divine stage seem to only spawn Silver Corrupted, the Fell side seems to only spawn Gold ones can anyone else confirm this?
