That does make sense. Wonder if Alear’s form would be different since they got both divine and fell powers.
While it is also possible they just haven't really settled on a look. Tiki herself has had like 3 different versions of her divine dragon form. The original white dragon, then the leafy seadragon look on Awakening and lastly the feathered dragon look of Warriors/Engage.

On the bright side, this makes it more likely that the story will be set later in the game than when it's unlocked, right? So people who want the FX cast ASAP can play the DLC right away and not have to worry about not having the Elusian and Solmese royals, for example. I think Ivy was in one of the screenshots and Fogado(?) was in the first trailer so it'd be weird to start this campaign and only have Alfred and Vander take part in the story.
It seems to require you to be in game to start it meaning that you will probably have to beat it on every file to get the characters. No one and done like CS.

They are from different world.

To be fair, the three houses dlc was done in a very similar way.

Allies will enter each map with fixed Level, class and inventory, depending on the map. However, equipped Emblems, support relationships and Bond Rings from the main game will be retained.
So, yea exactly what I didn’t want. This is why I say I have been so disappointed in this game.

I should hope so! Otherwise we'd have another "Myrrh's Dragonstone" situation, only applied to an entire class instead of just one unit!
Also to echo an earlier comment, I'm curious if Cannoneer's weapons will combo with Lucina's Dual Assist Sync Skill. If anyone's put Soren on a Backup unit, does his Bolting trigger Chain Attacks? I imagine cannonfire will use the same rule if so.
I had Hero Celine with Soren preform a chain attack with Bolting, can’t wait to see if it works with brave assist.

Supposedly The 100 girlfriends who really, really, really, really love you (yes that is the name) is finally getting an anime. I can’t wait for it, it has been one of my favorite mangas.

Oh, interesting indeed! Thanks for the info! Can Mage Cannoneer counterattack Bolting? I'm assuming not though.
Yes, if in range. Bolting goes to 10 while the canon only reaches 8.

For anyone who is interested, Soren’s Bolting can counter attack the Magic Cannon

Oh. So you're that person.
What do you mean by that, it has been disappointing. Nothing I had hoped for was done, isn't that disappointment?

You don't have a single point of punctuation and it is tilting me.
To actually add to the conversation, I think both classes could be fun. I'd like something gimmicky and unique as opposed to overpowered. Mage Cannoneer is like a walking turret. Imagine all the fun you could have with launching aoes like that. And a class with convoy access and the ability to buff units is right up my kind of play.
I would be surprised if there weren't another class or two waiting for us in Wave 4. Only time will tell, but with everything this final wave gives us, I would be just fine with these two alone. Though I certainly wouldn't mind more debuff options.
I really hope we get more than those 2 as they are not interesting at all. It would be disappointing but then again all the DLC have been so far.

I think Enchanter could be an interesting alternative support class. Besides, we don't know if these are the only classes we'll get: it's possible we'll get more traditional/ practical classes too and these two are just some wacky ones IS wanted to show off ahead of time.
I have to agree with Ronin here, I don’t see them adding the magic bombs as player useable. It technically a whole new weapon type.

They gave us joke weapons... but made them not upgradable. That is kinda lame.

Now is the well gonna be worth it?

We probably wont know anything until the DLC actually drops later. Seadall is level 15 when he summons Marth who is level 17 and according to Vincent, has stats equivalent to what he has when fought in the arena, so I imagine the summoned emblems level will be equivalent to what point in the story you're in or may just grow with your unit that is summoning.
Doesn’t emblem strength in arena scale with highest bond?
-
So have they shown the finer points of the summoning? I hope its not something awful like “Stats of the emblem are based on the emblem’s bond with summoner” or “you can only summon emblems that aren’t synced or currently in battle”.

I doubt we'll get anything explicitly as apologetic as that (maybe some weaker skirmishes in the main overworld), but I am curious about any free updates; I'd completely forgotten about those, thanks for the reminder!
I just find it a bit saddening, it seemed like a lot of people were complaining about the farming dlc on the 3DS games. Now we really could use them but we don’t get them anymore.
-
So any news on if it’s coming with any other patches. Like better farming stages or reworks skirmish scaling?

Honestly, I feel stringing along characters as if they have a chance, when they don't, is the real waste, so I really liked how Tonikawa handled the childhood friend character. Since the author isn't trying to pretend that she has a chance, the story instead does other things with her character, though admittedly most of those are in the form of comic relief.
That said, I would say a far better example would be Kamiya from Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie: her finding out that she has no chance with Izumi is handled dramatically rather than comedically and she forms a strong friendship with Shikimori.
I haven’t watched Shikimori as I don’t like the pre-establish relationships. Now I’m not saying everything has to be like Isekai Nobiri Nouka but I at least like seeing often better options be given a chance. There was a manga I read that did subvert expectations on it that was nice.

Normally, I only watch romance shows that are about two people who are already a couple at the start of the series
I’m definitely the opposite here, I generally don’t like those kinds as I feel like they often waste good characters. Like take Tonikaku for example, I like the childhood friend more than the wife but she has 0 chances as Nasa was already married before she confessed. I will admit this might just be my dislike of the “first girl, best girl” trope.
-
I just want a more reliable grinding options. Skirmishes ramp up to quickly and Tempest just isn't worth the time.

Is Great Thunder Thoron?
If I’m not mistaken Great Thunder is the Mae bond ring which gives all Thunder spells +20% damage.

GX was the only one I got to play but it had to be a mix between James (Little Wyvern) and Beastman (Hyper speeder)
Lapis in comparison to Chloe and Kagetsu. Why I think Lapis is better or at least just as good.

But how is that a problem? While the title here is misleading, nothing wrong with experimenting.
