I have some problem with it actually. The Crest of Flames/Fire Emblem is the most powerful crest indeed in theory, but does Edelgard even know how to use it's power, or that does she even able to? The game rarely shown her using any particular power with the Crest of Flame, and she can't even use Sword of the Creator like Byleth or Nemesis.

Speaking of the ending, I think it's interesting that Crimson Flower final chapter was known as "To the end of a dream", while Silver Snow is "Following a Dream" The dream here is obviously refereeing to Sothis, since she's known as Girl in the Dream

This would brings us back to the debate of her claim that her knowledge "was passed down in secret by the emperors" Personally I think her secret knowledge was tainted by TWISTD, considering how previous emperors were friendly to the church, and her so called truth was contradicting to all other routes, especially in Silver Snow and Verdant Wind. Yet, several guys I read on Reddit feverishly rejected the idea that such secret could be influenced by TWISTD.

The problem is that よすが in this game is far more important lorewise than blue flame with Ike, よすが is literally the recurring theme in this game. It's like Force in Star Wars or the One Ring in LotR. In the context of Silver Snow, it symbolized Byleth became the new Sothis as it's the title both Sothis and Rhea addressed Byleth multiple times (over 10 times actually) The current translation completely gut this symbolism to the point that average player wouldn't even understand the reference, what has "Wandering Flame" has anything to do with Sothis, fate or time?

In the Holy Mausoleum (chapter4) there are exactly number of coffins for each crest 16 coffins in the lower chamber, 4 in the upper chamber and one for Seiros The 4 in the upper chamber all have correspond crest for each Saints, clockwise are Cichol, Cethleann , Indech and Macuil But here comes some questions about them:

Yeah, but first rule in translation is faithful to the original source, how well it sounds is only the secondary concern. It's not a good translation if readers don't get the meaning at all, just to fit into the space better, especially this is a critical ending title.

I think Rhea makes best sense joining as part 1 character, if we look at her datamined quotes, a lot of them were clearly set in White Cloud She was probably supposedly to join at chapter 4 after you got Sword of the Creator (and when her support chain opens) Part 2 is more tricky like you said, my theory was Nemesis fight was originally set between Enbarr and Shambhala, (since Nemesis cutscene was place between these two in the libary) that would make sense since she told you she's joining the war, then fights Nemesis as rematch, finally injured saving Byleth in Shambhala.

Maybe there is a limited how many shots they have, noted that Thales put his hand on the third circle in the cutscene. Especially consider it's based on orbital weapon, perhaps they lost the ability to launch more into the orbit. My question would be why didn't TWISTD used it again Edelgard on her victory celebration (CF mural)? like since Edelgard already told them they would be no longer friends after killing Rhea, they knew they were going to war soon. This would be a perfect chance to wipe out whole imperial leadership, and TWISTD would have no problem mopping up remaining resistance

Technically, character like Monica, Thomas or Acheron could be green allied units that way we are not really investing them yet they are still functional. And yes, the number one character should be playable is Rhea, according to some dataminers, she's fully competed with all functions, only missing a recruit option. Considering how Black Eagle is basically Rhea vs Edelgard, not having a playable Rhea with support chain really missed out the opportunity to see her perspectives. Besides, a lot of unanswered questions about Nabatean, Sothis or Agrathan could be answered if Rhea has support with people like Jeralt, Hanneman or Seteth

It could be more reasonable in an anime story with proper build up and foreshadowing, such as people know there are artificial satellites above in the sky and more legends about ancient weapon falling from above (besides just valley of torment)

Speaking of Petra, her English lines are far better than Japanese in my opinion, that having her to have grammatically mistakes. her Japanese lines were extremely stuttering almost painful to read.

True, I should be more precise. But Byleth does have some canonical personalities: For example, in all non-CF routes they clearly care about Rhea and save her multiple times (three in Silver Snow, two in others), and constantly reminds others to put her welfare on high priority. They are also against unnecessary violence or use torture and other unusual punishments.
