We all know 2 was a sidestory of 1 but thats not the point. Anyone else here think that 8 and 2 are a lot a like they both have pretty much the same features. and neither of them have sequals.They both also came out as the second game for there platforms. to me 2 is the worst on the console 8 is the worst on the GBA. think about it for a second

Yea i got past eliwoods 2nd try and hectors 1st weird huh ging from normal to hard really is a big jump in diffuculty it was bigger than i thought

oooooooooooo blazing sword! yea the only way you can get close to having all characters is going to hectors route and pretty much going to every single chapter there is in the game. I think you either miss out on harken(hero) or karel(SM) depending on what u do in the chapter(i forgot chapter #.) IDK there might be more you can check this site or rpgclassics.com they've got a pretty organized list of all characters and how to recruit them.

every time i put fire emblem ds into DeS. blah blah blah, it keeps going into the not responding mode and its annoying

In FE 8 it doesn't matter who's route you take you get all of them in the end (e.g erikia route you don't get knoll but when you meet up with ephraim in chpter 1* you get knoll. same with characters you only get in ephraims route.) I don't think you beat the game yet so i'm not gonna give you the chapter # no spoilers the game is too short ;)

im trying to get an avatar. if i found someone elses pic am i allowed to use it cuz thats what i did. I believe that it is also too big could that be a problem.

1.after normal with hector you can choose hard 2.if you mean max out there stats? only some and only if you arena abuse a lot but its boring 3.maybe not but like fox said "codes are your friend" unless they make your game crash.

Hopefully if my mom gives into begging but by the time it comes out in america i might already have a job since IS and NOA take too long to translate. on top of that theres a chance this wont come out outside of japan!! You could always import (if you are able to cuz im not sure) we speak practically the same language minor differences.

It would be a sequel for countries outside of Japan though and a downgrade ( i cant notice it) as FE 7 graphics are better

It sucks because if I remember correctly they had the same caps so the bishop was only more useful in FE 8 for slayer and FE 7 for light magic
