That was made as a joke. I haven’t come in here calling people names or saying fans of Persona are garbage (*cough*similar to what you did*cough*), I expressed my disappointment through a joke. Hell even earlier I stated P5R’s new content looked interesting.

You’re right. Compared to other series, SMT is most fortunate to last as long as it has. I’m not arguing that SMT is dying, I’m bummed that Atlus has been selling it so sort as they have been. If watching another series get re-releases of the game with new content, a Dynasty Warriors spin-off, freaking dancing games, a spin-off/crossover dungeon crawler with other games in the series, an appearance in the biggest crossover fighting game ever Smash Bros, crossovers in mobile games and it’s very own anime, and sitting there and watch you’re favorite series get virtually nothing in comparison is what I have to look forward to, then I’m out. I’m not going to sit here and be the third wheel.

I’ve been a huge fan of the SMT series, and I am super excited for V. I’d like to think Atlus isn’t cold enough to leave SMT behind but I’ve been having second thoughts lately. And I’m not trying to ruin anyone’s fun. People want to play Persona? They can play Persona.

I never implied it was? I dunno what SMT fans you’ve been interacting with, but I’ve never picked on Persona “because it makes sense to them” or whatever you mean by that. In fact, I like P3 more than Nocturne.

Why am I not surprised that you’d say this something like this to me?
Look, I don’t know about you and everyone else, but I’m getting rather burnt out at seeing Persona get pretty much everything while I sit here and watch SMT basically sit in the dust.
I’ve been a fan of Atlus for a long time, but frankly I’ve had enough of this. Excuse me for being let down.

I’d say Persona 3 or 5 honestly. 3 has the perfect balance tonal between traditional SMT themes and it’s own tone that none of the other Persona games has. Persona 5’s also good due to it being the latest entry.
And, if by any chance you want to play any of the other MegaTen games, I’d wholeheartedly recommend Nocturne and SMT IV. Just in case.

Tie between Tellius and Echoes for artstyle. Echoes has the best graphics IMO.

Anyways, I guess we now know where the grappling hook came from. I'm also interested in the new palaces and new character, so that'll be a thing to look out for.

I had such high hopes for Azura but instead she became one of my least liked characters in the series. I remember hoping Azura would have a cool masterplan and maybe act as a villain in at least one route. I find myself hoping again that Sothis will backstab us, but I'm expecting her to be what everyone already assumes, namely a part of/the true goddess.
Interesting that she's got the spine sword though; we saw the old guy use it in the trailer and the creepy church lady pick it up. I've said before that I think the war scene in the first trailer was a flashback, so I wonder how Sothis got ahold of the sword.
I generally don't have high hopes for the story of this game. I think it'll be better than what we got in Awakening and Fates, but I'm not expecting anything special.

My gut tells me it'll reach 1 million. A lot of big titles for the Switch have been doing well sales wise, and despite what I and others might say about them, Awakening and Fates have made Fire Emblem more popular. Unless this game somehow is worse than all of the flaws of Awakening and Fates (which I'll laugh my ass off if that happens), this game should be fine.

Tellius. Overall, it's the most competent FE era in my opinion. Path of Radiance's better for story, Radiant Dawn's better for gameplay.

This whole server maintenance thing is a pain in the ass. I've been waiting for nearly 5 hours, and I still cannot download.
Guess every time a DLC character drops, I'll have to wait a whole day after said character's release day, because more than likely maintenance won't allow it. What a bummer.

Because I like Doom. I don't support Bethesda, I support Doom. There's a difference. I don't care what you view on Doom, Bethesda, or anything else is. People can pull and not pull for whatever characters the do and do not want to pull for. What I won't take is someone being a passive aggressive jerk towards other people about.
