  1. Has a ton of problems, but at least the maps she's on don't try to horribly fuck her over like Fiona. And she can actually kills stuff once she eats that shitload of resources, unlike Mist. 2/10
  2. Crappy gauge, no ranged counters. Being locked to Hawk isn't awesome, but I guess it's not terrible. He can't use high move transformed in the desert, and probably isn't contributing much in 4-5. Naturally doubling in endgame is nice. 6/10
  3. You're in. That's 4, which I guess is enough to run the draft. I'll hold off for a bit to see if anyone else is interested, but it doesn't seem likely at this point.
  4. I went with that rule for simplicities sake. I feel like it's better to flat out ban it then allow its use under a bunch of conditionals. Under the current standard, it's still possible to warp + rescue Marth as long as you have 3 staff-users. I'm open to ideas, however. I mean, when do you actually lose out by not being able to use warp if you can't use it to save turns, besides those two chests?
  5. Looking for at least one more interested person... now I see why there were so few FE12 drafts listed.
  6. 7.5. Yeah, she was somewhat disapointing. Never really has problems at one range, but wind edges for 2 range...
  7. Support conversations more then anything else. You can see the planned support pairs on the site, and there are some really interesting pairs. I would love to read the Micaiah x Soren support, or Haar x Volug... heh. Or the return of Volke x Bastian.
  8. 5/10. A worse version of Soren. Resolve is really his only saving grace, because when you're envious of Soren's base 18 speed you know your speed sucks.
  9. No, I'm not planning on banning the fighter. The end result may be that fighter is too powerful, but it's never been tried. Honestly I thinks that's preferable to everyone using Mage/Sage MU with resire tanking. (Which will also one round everything.) I'll put Refa down. I'm not sure from your post whether you want to join or not, Elieson Also, I didn't make this clear, but it seems the norm is that prologue does not count towards your overall turncount, so that will be the case here.
  10. Do we really have proof that the unmounted physical classes break H1? I see lack of acess to draco/pally as a pretty considerable nerf compared to other strong units like Pegsisters/Luke/Rody, especially since Zerker is banned on top of that. Plus, it's a lot easier to one-round with lances and swords on H1, so MU being by far the best axe-user is worth less.
  11. So, since progress on the Radiant Dawn draft I'm in has been halted due to my return to college, I'm starting a draft of my own! Read the rules as there are some changes marked by BOLD. Drafting: 1. This draft is for 4 players 2. Marth, My Unit, Arran, Xane, Feena, and Rickard are free for all. 3. The game will be played on Hard 1. My Unit may never be deployed in any of the following classes: Cavalier/Paladin, Pegasus Knight/Dracoknight, Horseman, Berserker. Rules: 1. Undrafted units may recruit characters, visit houses, trade, and shop. 2. Undrafted units may not do anything not listed above, including but not limited to opening chests/doors. 3. All characters are free for Prologue chapters. However, all drafted characters who are recruitable in the Prologue must be recruited. 4. You are free to reclass undrafted units to whatever you want. 5. All Gaiden chapters must be visited. 6. The game must be played out to the True Ending. Other: Allowed: Forging, the Rainbow Potion, Lunatic Statboosters, Rescue, Male Class Set Combination and the Base Arena Banned: Wi-Fi, the Clock Bonus. Marth can't be warped. Warped units may not use rescue. Hammerne may not be used on the rescue staff. Penalties: 1. Undrafted units have a 4-turn penalty, per unit per chapter. Exceptions: 1. Palla is free for Chapter 3. 2. Yubello, Yumina, Ogma and Sirius are free for Chapter 4. 3. Navarre is free for Chapter 7. 4. Merric is free for Chapter 10. 5. Nyna, Maria, Lena and Elice are free for Final. Units remaining Players: 1. Marth- Luke, Cecille, Linde, Castor, Ymir, Frey, Belf, Matthis, Caesar, Dolph, Roshea, Samson, Vyland, Bord, Macellan, Sedgar, Tomas 2. PKL- Ryan, Caeda, Sirius, Wryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyys, Cord, Cain, Merric, Navarre, Warren, Radd, Est, Nagi, Midia, Dice, Robert, Astram 3. Stark- Rody, Catria, Minerva, Etzel, Barst, Ogma, Julian, Norne, Leiden, Yubello, Malice, Jake, Frost, Michalis, Roger, Darros, Beck 4. Refa- Palla, Malliesia, Draug, Yumina, Gordin, Wendell, Jeorge, Athena, Katarina, Ellerean, Horace, Bantu, Abel, Tiki, Sheema, Samto, Wolf The observant among us may have noticed a loophole already in that I did not ban the Falcoknight class for My Unit. This isn't a loophole, it's a feature. If you hold off My Unit's promotion for a bunch of chapters until the fire dragons, yes, you can have a mounted My Unit. It also makes it so there's actually a reason to use female My Unit besides resire, as males get a far superior class selection with the current distribution. Ultimately, it's a bit of an experiment.
  12. Oh, I don't think Soren is better then Gatrie, just that the gap between them is not all that large. And in part 4, Soren can use resolve to get >32 speed, while Gatrie is stuck at 31. (And brave axe is its own trade-off.)
  13. Like Soul said, he's actually very similar to Soren, though I disagree that he's so much better. Soren's lower durability actually works to his advantage when it comes to resolve, and he can 1-turn 3-5 with Meteor as well. Gatrie has the obvious advantage of having higher speed most of the time, but his part 4 is kind of unspectacular with General's crap movement and a low speed cap. 7.5/10
  14. AW2 is when she gets her Super CO power to capture HQs in a single day, so yes.
  15. Basically, every point I made about Rolf applies to Shinon, except for the whole "slow start" thing. Doubling with a killer bow gives him excellent combat off the bat, and the silencer is excellent. He still has the crippling flaw of no decent enemy phase. 6.5/10
  16. Agreed, both are top units anyway. Just one small mention that although Oscar can't assist Ike in 3-4 up the ledges, between the rest of the base GMs, Neph and Haar's group and the laguz that just joined, it's extremely likely you will have another unit to help Ike, so Oscar's group can probably still match Boyd's turncounts.
  17. I've finished all of part 3 except 3-E on my draft, (Which I will post and finish when I have access to my Wii again) but basically Oscar was the cornerstone of my strategy in almost every chapter. Mia was extremely disappointing by comparison. In 3-1, he admittedly doesn't one round. In 3-2, his utility isn't dependent on it. In 3-3, he used the brave lance to one round SMs and generals, the only things he couldn't ORKO. After that, he ORKOs everything but generals for all of part 3, and can use the brave lance/sol/crit forges for those.
  18. Well, if they had to lock MU to one specific class, a mage fighter type unit is about the best I could have hoped for. Mounted promotion please?
  19. I may take some flak for this, but personally, I think Oscar is being highly underrated. I would never had thought it until I played Creeper's draft, but that opened my eyes. He obviously has a rougher start then Titania or Haar, but I think he's still the next best GM draftee. Having a horse is just so good in part 3, as it enables strategies in many chapters that would not otherwise be possible. He's still getting going in 3-1, but having a horse means he can reach and start killing enemies faster, even if he can't always one round them. 3-2 he ferries Ike for a 3-turn, or if you're really persistent, double-crits the boss for a 2-turn, but we're not looking at that. 3-3, he reaches the back most supply pile. 3-5 he 1-turns with Sol. He can help a 4-turn of 3-8, reach the boss area fastest in 3-10, ferry Ike in 3-11 if you don't have a flyer, and reach more enemies faster in 3-E. Part 4 he slows down a bit, especially since he probably won't have celerity any more, but he's still a solid contributor in either non-silver army. Also, he can one-round generals and SMs while unpromoted with the brave lance, which Geoffery really doesn't need for 3-9. 9.5/10
  20. 95% sure (can't check), since colossus only takes 25 capacity. Only reavers and marksman can.
  21. Probably the best 7-move draftee in the GMs. Takes a little while to start doubling, but he can probably eat a speedwing, and once he does, he's a beast. Being able to consistently one-round generals is an amazing boon, and he can equip celerity and pass together in tier 3 without losing out on offense, both of which are things that set him apart from other non-mounted GMs. Interestingly, his growths are better then Ike's in every relevant area. 9/10
  22. The name would be helpful, since there are several paths that lead to more or less missions in AW1. But if it's "Sami's Debut" vs. Eagle, one tip is that the AI can't find your units in forests in Fog of War, at least in the first game. Be sure to keep your Anti-Airs alive. Also, surrounding a fighter with ground units can protect it from another fighter. I also believe, though I'm not 100%, that Eagles Mid-Tanks don't move until you you enter their range. Hopefully that helps somewhat.
  23. Does Rolf really OHKO halbs/warriors/SMs/snipers in 3-P with a crit? I don't have access to my Wii to check, but that doesn't seem quite right with only 25 MT. Even so, he's only going to be making kills on the player phase, and only roughly 1/3 of the time. Obviously, he eventually grows out of these problems, but his start seems pretty shaky. Even after that, being an archer SUCKS in draft. Remember poor Leo? He's got it rough in 3-3 and 3-4, because enemies attacking him will slow you down, and the same goes in 3-8 and 3-E. He's not really contributing in 3-2, though if he's reached Tier 3 by 3-5, he might be able to help a 2-turn. He suffers forever for having no consistent EP, and just accentuates all of Shinon's problems. Yes, double bow rocks, yes, you probably have 5 turns in the game to use it. His speed cap even prevents him from doubling auras in endgame sans Nasir. 4.5/10
  24. Best: FE10 Naesala. Don't give in to the Tibarn fans! Worst: Bantu errr.... FE12. Laughable in every game he appear in, and limited uses just add insult to injury. Went with 12 for being out of the way. Edit: Sorry, didn't realize that part. Though taking a second look a whole bunch of people just wrote "Tibarn"
